What does holding MX give you?
MX is MEXC’s exchange token, so its practical uses depend largely on the MEXC platform and the benefits it currently offers holders. The project describes MX as a token linked to platform rights and interests, including possible revenue rebates, voting and oversight. Search information also describes participation in platform events such as Launchpool and Kickstarter. These benefits are not the same as a guaranteed return: eligibility, availability and terms can change, and holding MX alone does not ensure you receive a rebate or event allocation.
Before relying on a particular use, check the current rules in your MEXC account and whether the benefit applies in your location. MX may also be held or transferred as an Ethereum token, but that does not make it a general-purpose payment coin or give it an independent role outside the exchange. Its value and usefulness are therefore exposed to changes in MEXC’s services, policies and user demand.
Where can you store MX?
MX is reported as issued on Ethereum, and the supplied chain facts list no native MX chain. If you store it yourself, use a wallet that supports Ethereum and ERC-20 tokens, and confirm that the wallet and receiving service support MX on that network. A token with the same ticker on another chain may not be the same asset. Check the network and deposit address carefully before sending; blockchain transfers generally cannot be reversed if you use the wrong address or network.
You can also keep MX in an exchange account, where the platform controls the keys and handles custody. That can be convenient for platform features, but it means you rely on the exchange to secure assets and process withdrawals. In a self-custody wallet, you control the keys, so losing the recovery phrase or signing a malicious transaction can mean losing access. Store recovery details offline and never share them. Do not assume a wallet supports MX just because it supports Ethereum; verify token visibility and transfer support first.
How much MX exists, and what can change supply?
Supply figures for MX need careful reading. A dated market snapshot lists about 91.8 million MX circulating and about 409 million total, with no maximum supply reported. However, the project description says total circulation is 3 billion and will not be increased. Those figures do not match, so you should not treat the 3 billion claim and the snapshot totals as one consistent supply schedule. The reason for the difference is not established here.
As of 2026-11-08, MX was about $1.46, with a market capitalisation near $134 million and fully diluted valuation near $596.6 million. These are dated market figures, not fixed values. The same snapshot placed its all-time high at $5.85 on 2024-04-09 and its all-time low at about $0.042 on 2019-11-24. A market price can move sharply, and past prices do not indicate what MX will be worth later. MEXC’s reported buyback proposal is another potential supply influence: a 2026 update described allocating 40% of quarterly profits to open-market buybacks under a community-approved proposal. Buybacks do not guarantee price gains or a fixed reduction in circulating supply.
How do people get and keep MX?
People generally obtain MX through an exchange that lists it or, where available, through the project’s described mining method. The project description does not explain the mining process, eligibility or current availability, so check the live platform terms rather than assuming it works like proof-of-work mining. This is general information, not a recommendation to acquire MX. Availability can differ by location and account status.
For storage, you can leave MX on a supporting exchange or withdraw it to an Ethereum-compatible self-custody wallet. Exchange custody can make platform uses easier, but it leaves you exposed to account access restrictions, platform outages and the exchange’s ability to return assets. Self-custody removes that intermediary but makes you responsible for your keys, recovery phrase and transaction approvals. If you move MX, first confirm the exchange’s supported network, token contract and minimum deposit or withdrawal requirements. Test with a small transfer when appropriate, while accounting for fees. Never share passwords, one-time codes or recovery phrases with someone claiming to provide support.
What can an MX transfer cost?
Moving MX on Ethereum normally requires a network fee, often called gas, paid in ETH. The fee is separate from the amount of MX you send and changes with network demand and transaction complexity; there is no single fixed cost. Check the wallet’s current estimate before confirming, and make sure you have enough ETH in the sending wallet. An exchange withdrawal may also carry a platform fee or minimum, which can change; review the amount shown at withdrawal rather than relying on an old figure.
A transfer between exchange users may not involve an on-chain transaction, but it remains subject to the platform’s account rules. Moving MX through a bridge to another network adds bridge-specific costs and risks, including delays, contract vulnerabilities and possible differences between wrapped and original tokens. Do not assume MX exists in an interchangeable form on another chain. Confirm the receiving service supports the exact network and asset before using any bridge or deposit route. If the destination accepts only Ethereum MX, sending another version can leave the funds inaccessible.
What should you check before holding MX?
MX combines token and exchange risks. Its uses are tied to MEXC, so changes to platform benefits, access or policies could reduce its usefulness. Holding MX on an exchange also exposes you to custody and account risks; keeping it in your own wallet shifts responsibility to you and introduces the possibility of lost keys, phishing or mistaken transfers. Ethereum fees can make small transfers uneconomical, while a bridge adds another set of technical risks.
The supply figures also conflict: a market snapshot reports about 409 million total MX, while the project description claims 3 billion total circulation. Treat supply-based comparisons with caution until the project explains the difference clearly. MX’s price has also varied substantially, including a high and low recorded in its market history. Do not rely on past performance, reported buybacks or platform benefits as guarantees. Before holding or transferring MX, check current token terms, network support, withdrawal conditions and local rules, and only use funds you can afford to lose.

MX (MX) is ranked #213 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $134M and a price of $1.46 as of Nov 8, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation is $597M, so roughly 22% of the eventual supply is in circulation today; tokens still to be released could add selling pressure.
The price was down 9.5% over 7 days, down 21.4% over 30 days, down 32.0% over the past year. It trades about 75% below its all-time high of $5.85, set on Apr 9, 2024.
About 91.84M MX are in circulation, from a total supply of 409.02M. No hard maximum supply is listed.
24-hour trading volume was about $11.5M, or 8.6% of its market cap: high turnover.
MX has token contracts on Ethereum. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.

MX FAQs
What is MX token used for?
MX is described as MEXC’s exchange token, with possible platform-linked benefits such as rebates, voting and participation in events. Those benefits depend on current platform rules and are not guaranteed just because you hold the token.
Which blockchain is MX on?
MX is reported as issued on Ethereum. Use a wallet or exchange that explicitly supports MX on Ethereum, and check the network before sending; a matching ticker on another chain may represent a different asset.
What is the total supply of MX?
The dated market snapshot lists about 91.8 million circulating and 409 million total MX, but the project description says 3 billion total circulation. The figures conflict, and the reason is not established, so treat supply comparisons cautiously.
Does sending MX cost a fee?
An Ethereum transfer generally requires gas paid in ETH, and the fee varies with network demand. An exchange may also charge a withdrawal fee or set a minimum; check its displayed terms before sending.
Is MX a risky token to hold?
MX carries exchange, price, custody and network risks, and its supply statements are inconsistent. Platform benefits can change, and self-custody requires you to protect your keys and verify every network and address.
What is the market cap of MX?
As of Nov 8, 2026, MX had a market cap of about $134M, ranking #213 among cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation. Market cap is price multiplied by circulating supply, so it moves with the price.
What is the all-time high of MX?
MX's all-time high is $5.85, reached on Apr 9, 2024. Its all-time low is $0.0422 (Nov 24, 2019). Past prices say nothing about future returns.
What is the circulating supply of MX?
As of Nov 8, 2026, about 91.84M MX were in circulation; no fixed maximum supply is listed.
Which blockchains is MX on?
It has token contracts on Ethereum.
