## What does holding PENDLE actually give you?

PENDLE is the protocol token for Pendle, a DeFi platform that lets users trade future yield. The protocol splits a yield-bearing asset into a principal token (PT) and a yield token (YT), which can then be used in different ways: for example, a PT can represent a claim to the underlying asset at maturity, while a YT represents its yield up to that point. These products have their own risks and are not the same as simply holding PENDLE.

PENDLE has been used in Pendle governance and in its vePENDLE model, where locking tokens can affect voting and protocol incentives. Locking can restrict access to your tokens for a period, and the rules or benefits may change. Holding PENDLE does not by itself give you a guaranteed yield, a claim on protocol revenue, or a right to redeem assets held in Pendle markets. Check the current token and governance rules before relying on any particular benefit.

## Which chains and wallets can hold PENDLE?

PENDLE is issued on Ethereum, Base, Berachain, BNB Chain, Hyperliquid L1, Robinhood Chain, Sonic, Arbitrum, Optimism and Monad. It is not identified as the native token of any one of these networks. A token shown on one chain is not automatically the same transferable balance on another: use the right network and the correct PENDLE contract address.

You can store PENDLE in a wallet that supports the specific network where your tokens are held. Some wallets support only selected networks, and support for a network does not guarantee that a wallet recognizes the token automatically. Before sending, confirm the receiving wallet supports both the network and asset. A small test transfer can help catch a network or address mistake, though it still incurs a fee. Never share your recovery phrase or private keys. If you use a custodial exchange, the provider controls the wallet and withdrawal availability can vary.

## How much PENDLE exists, and what can move its price?

PENDLE has no maximum supply listed in the token figures here. As of November 8, 2026, circulating supply was about 173.9 million and total supply was about 281.5 million. Circulating and total supply are different measures; tokens outside circulation may enter circulation over time, depending on the project’s token arrangements. Check current token disclosures if supply changes matter to your decision.

PENDLE’s market price also moves. It was about $1.63 on November 8, 2026, with a market capitalization of about $283.6 million on that date. Those figures are a dated snapshot, not a valuation guarantee. The token’s historical high was $7.50 on April 11, 2024, and its historical low was about $0.0338 on November 14, 2022. Past prices do not indicate what PENDLE will be worth later. Market conditions, protocol use, available supply and changes to the token model can all affect demand and price.

## How do people get and store PENDLE?

People generally obtain PENDLE through a crypto exchange that lists it or through a decentralized exchange on a supported network. Availability, identity checks and withdrawal options depend on the provider and your location. On a decentralized exchange, you need a compatible wallet and enough of the network’s native asset to pay transaction fees. Trading a wrapped or bridged version adds another layer of contract and network risk.

For self-custody, keep PENDLE in a wallet you control and protect its recovery phrase offline. Check the chain, token address and destination before confirming a transfer; an incorrect network or address can make tokens difficult or impossible to recover. A hardware wallet can keep signing keys offline, but it does not remove smart-contract, phishing or user-error risks. You can also leave tokens with a custodial service, but then you rely on that provider’s security and withdrawal policies. This is general information, not a recommendation to buy or sell.

## What does it cost to move PENDLE?

A PENDLE transfer usually requires a network transaction fee, often called gas. The fee is paid in the chain’s required asset, not necessarily in PENDLE, and can change with network congestion and transaction complexity. A swap or interaction with a Pendle market may involve additional transaction steps and applicable protocol or trading costs. Pendle does not publish one fixed cost that applies to every transaction, so review the amount shown by your wallet or app before signing.

Moving PENDLE between chains may require a bridge or another cross-chain service. That can add service fees, separate network fees and waiting time; bridge routes and supported tokens may change. A bridge also introduces smart-contract, operator and transfer-finality risks. Check that the route supports PENDLE on both ends and that the destination wallet is ready for the receiving network. Do not assume a token with the same ticker on another chain is an official representation.

## What can go wrong when you hold or use PENDLE?

PENDLE carries market risk: its price can fall sharply, and there is no guaranteed buyer or stable value. The protocol’s yield products add risks beyond holding the token, including smart-contract bugs, oracle or market failures, liquidity shortages, and changes in the underlying yield-bearing asset. PT and YT positions can behave differently as they approach maturity, so make sure you understand what a particular market token represents before using it.

Locking PENDLE can limit when you can access your tokens. Using a bridge adds another point of failure, while mistaken addresses, counterfeit tokens and phishing sites can cause permanent losses. Check contract addresses through trusted project channels, read the transaction details, and avoid signing requests you do not understand. An audit, if one exists for a specific contract, cannot guarantee that it is safe; audit coverage can differ by product and version. Do not commit funds you cannot afford to lose.

## What is Pendle’s history, and what should you check?

Pendle’s core product is yield tokenization: it separates a yield-bearing asset into tradeable principal and yield components, with markets designed to account for time decay. The project description does not give a launch date for PENDLE, so a precise token launch history is not established here. The token has traded through substantially different market conditions: its recorded low was about $0.0338 on November 14, 2022, and its recorded high was $7.50 on April 11, 2024.

Those milestones illustrate volatility, not a pattern that can be relied on. The protocol has expanded across multiple networks, but a network listing does not guarantee that every Pendle market or token function is available there. Check the specific market’s maturity, underlying asset, liquidity and current rules rather than assuming all deployments work alike. If you only want to hold PENDLE, distinguish the token’s own price and governance role from the separate risks of using Pendle’s yield markets.

By the numbers

Pendle in numbers

Pendle (PENDLE) is ranked #137 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $284M and a price of $1.63 as of Nov 8, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation is $459M, so roughly 62% of the eventual supply is in circulation today; tokens still to be released could add selling pressure.

The price was down 13.8% over 7 days, down 22.3% over 30 days, down 41.4% over the past year. It trades about 78% below its all-time high of $7.50, set on Apr 11, 2024.

About 173.93M PENDLE are in circulation, from a total supply of 281.53M. No hard maximum supply is listed.

24-hour trading volume was about $31.4M, or 11% of its market cap: high turnover.

PENDLE has token contracts on 10 chains we track, including Ethereum, Base, Berachain, BNB Chain. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.

PENDLE FAQs

What is PENDLE used for?

PENDLE is the token associated with Pendle, a protocol for splitting yield-bearing assets into principal and yield tokens. PENDLE has been used in governance and the vePENDLE incentive model; holding it does not guarantee income.

Which networks support PENDLE?

PENDLE is issued on Ethereum, Base, Berachain, BNB Chain, Hyperliquid L1, Robinhood Chain, Sonic, Arbitrum, Optimism and Monad. Confirm the network and token contract before receiving or sending it.

What is the total supply of PENDLE?

Does it cost money to transfer PENDLE?

A transfer requires a network fee, and a swap or cross-chain move may add other costs. Fees vary by network conditions and route, so check the transaction estimate before confirming.

Is PENDLE risky to hold?

Yes. Its market price can be volatile, and using Pendle’s yield markets adds contract, liquidity and underlying-asset risks. Bridges, locking periods, phishing and transaction mistakes can also lead to losses.
