What does holding OHM actually give you?

OHM is the main token of Olympus, a DeFi protocol that describes itself as building programmable monetary infrastructure. Holding OHM gives you exposure to that token and its market price; it does not by itself guarantee a share of treasury assets, a fixed redemption value, or a return.

Olympus describes its system as using Protocol Owned Liquidity, Cooler Loans, Convertible Deposits, a Yield Repurchase Facility, and Range Bound Stability. These are protocol mechanisms, not automatic benefits for every OHM holder. The protocol’s materials do not specify a guaranteed yield or a universal redemption right for OHM.

Governance may involve gOHM, a separate wrapped token described as being used for Olympus proposals and voting. Check the current rules before assuming that holding OHM alone gives you voting rights or that converting between OHM and gOHM is cost-free. Treat “treasury-backed” as a description of the protocol’s design, not a promise that you can redeem OHM for a fixed amount.

Which chains and wallets can hold OHM?

OHM is issued on Ethereum, Base, Optimism, Solana, Arbitrum, and Berachain. It is not listed as the native token of any of these chains, so you need a wallet and network that support the specific OHM version you hold. A token on one chain may not be the same asset representation as one on another.

For self-custody, use a wallet compatible with the relevant network and verify the token’s official contract or mint information through Olympus before adding or transferring it. EVM wallets can support Ethereum and compatible networks such as Base, Optimism, Arbitrum, and Berachain, but network selection still matters. Solana assets require a Solana-compatible wallet.

If you keep OHM with a custodian, check which networks it supports and whether withdrawals are available on the network you need. Sending tokens to an address on the wrong network, or using an unsupported token contract, can make them difficult or impossible to recover. Keep your recovery phrase private and offline.

How much OHM exists, and what can change supply?

As of 2026-11-08, OHM’s circulating supply was about 14.94 million and total supply about 19.81 million. No maximum supply is listed. Circulating supply is the portion reported as circulating; total supply includes tokens outside that measure. These figures can change as the protocol’s supply changes and data providers update their counts.

Olympus describes OHM as a treasury-backed token and identifies several on-chain mechanisms that manage liquidity, credit, and monetary policy. Those mechanisms may affect token supply or market dynamics, but the details and effects depend on how the protocol operates at a given time. Do not assume that a listed mechanism means supply will rise or fall in a predictable way.

Check current on-chain supply and protocol announcements before relying on an older figure. Supply is only one part of the picture: market demand, liquidity, and the ability to trade can also affect the price you receive. A total-supply figure does not mean every token is immediately available for sale.

What will an OHM transfer or bridge cost?

Moving OHM costs depend on the chain and the transaction. On Ethereum and other EVM networks, you generally need that network’s native token to pay gas; on Solana, transactions use SOL for network fees. Fees vary with network activity, and a simple transfer can cost less than a contract interaction. Olympus does not publish one fixed fee for all OHM transfers.

A cross-chain move may involve a bridge or another transfer service. That can add service fees, extra transaction costs, waiting time, and the risk of using a faulty or compromised bridge. A wrapped or bridged token may also have different liquidity or support from OHM on its original network.

Before confirming, check the sending and receiving networks, the destination address, the token version, and the total fee shown in your wallet or transfer service. Try a small transfer first when appropriate, while accounting for the extra fees. Do not assume that a wallet’s displayed balance means the token can be withdrawn on every supported chain.

What can go wrong when you hold OHM?

OHM carries market, protocol, and custody risks. Its price can move sharply, and a treasury-backed description does not guarantee that treasury assets will support a fixed OHM price or that holders can redeem tokens for those assets. Market liquidity also matters: a displayed price may not be the price available for a large trade.

Olympus relies on on-chain contracts and mechanisms, so bugs, exploits, governance decisions, or operational changes could affect the protocol or your tokens. Cross-chain versions introduce additional bridge and token-representation risks. A transaction sent to the wrong address or network may be irreversible.

Before interacting, check which OHM version you hold, the current protocol rules, and whether a contract or bridge is officially supported. Do not treat a yield-related feature as a guaranteed return; terms and risks can change. Keep only the keys you control secure, and be wary of unsolicited messages, fake support accounts, and sites asking for your recovery phrase.

What does OHM’s history tell you about its volatility?

Olympus does not have a launch date listed here. OHM’s historical price range shows how far its market value has moved: its reported all-time high was about $1,415.26 on 2021-04-24, and its reported all-time low was about $7.54 on 2022-11-26. Those past extremes do not indicate where the price may go next.

As of 2026-11-08, OHM was about $17.26, with a market capitalization around $257.8 million and reported 24-hour trading volume of about $9,520. The reported one-year change was down about 20.1%. These are snapshots, not stable values, and market capitalization and trading volume depend on changing prices and data coverage.

Use historical figures to understand volatility, not to set a target or assume recovery. OHM’s price can differ across venues and networks, especially where liquidity is thin. Check live market conditions and the exact token version before making a transaction.

By the numbers

Olympus in numbers

Olympus (OHM) is ranked #142 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $258M and a price of $17.26 as of Nov 8, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation is $342M, so roughly 75% of the eventual supply is in circulation today; tokens still to be released could add selling pressure.

The price was down 8.9% over 7 days, down 14.1% over 30 days, down 20.1% over the past year. It trades about 99% below its all-time high of $1,415, set on Apr 24, 2021.

About 14.94M OHM are in circulation, from a total supply of 19.81M. No hard maximum supply is listed.

24-hour trading volume was about $9.52K, or 0.0% of its market cap: low turnover, so large orders can move the price.

OHM has token contracts on 6 chains we track, including Ethereum, Base, Optimism, Solana. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.
