What does holding SPK actually give you?

SPK is Spark’s governance token, so its main relevance to you is participation in decisions about the protocol. Spark operates lending and stablecoin-yield products, but holding SPK is not the same as depositing into those products and does not itself mean you earn their yield. Some public descriptions also associate SPK with staking or incentives; the specific current terms and mechanics are not established here, so check the live protocol rules before relying on those uses. Spark’s capital-allocation system and products, including SparkLend and Spark Savings, are separate from the token. Treat SPK as exposure to the governance and token economics of Spark, not as a claim on the stablecoins, reserves, or yield managed by the protocol.

Is SPK the same as Spark’s yield tokens?

SPK and Spark’s yield-bearing tokens serve different purposes. Spark Savings converts supported stablecoins into tokens such as sUSDS or sUSDC, which are designed to represent stablecoin deposits earning yield. SPK is the protocol’s governance token; it is not a stablecoin and does not automatically earn the yield associated with sUSDS or sUSDC. Spark also operates SparkLend, a stablecoin lending market, and the Spark Liquidity Layer, which allocates capital across protocols and markets. Those products may be relevant to SPK holders, but using them involves separate assets, terms, and risks. Before interacting, check which token you are holding, what product it belongs to, and whether its current rate, withdrawal terms, and risks suit your needs.

Which network and wallets support SPK?

SPK is issued on Ethereum. You can generally hold an Ethereum token in a wallet that supports Ethereum and lets you manage tokens by their correct contract address. Confirm the network and token details before sending; a similarly named asset or an incorrectly entered address can lead to an irreversible loss. The project’s token is not native to a separate chain based on the information stated here, so do not assume a token displayed on another network is an official Spark deployment. If you use an exchange or another custodian, check its current SPK deposit and withdrawal networks first. With self-custody, keep your recovery phrase private and offline, and remember that losing it or signing a malicious transaction can put your tokens at risk.

How much SPK exists, and can its supply change?

SPK has a maximum supply of 10 billion tokens. About 3.44 billion were circulating as of 2026-11-08, while the fully diluted valuation was about $159.7 million on that date. The difference between circulating and maximum supply means additional tokens could affect the circulating amount over time, but the release schedule and the precise mechanisms that change circulation are not established here. Check current token disclosures before making assumptions about future supply. As a dated snapshot, SPK’s market capitalization was about $54.9 million and its 24-hour trading volume about $3.1 million on 2026-11-08. These figures move, and market capitalization and fully diluted valuation are not guarantees of liquidity or future value.

What does it cost to move SPK?

Sending SPK on Ethereum usually requires an Ethereum network fee, commonly called gas. The amount changes with network demand and the transaction you make; the fee is paid in the network’s gas token, not as a fixed SPK charge. Spark does not publish a fixed transfer fee in the facts stated here. If you are moving SPK through an exchange, that service may also set its own withdrawal fees, minimums, and processing times. Do not assume a bridge supports official SPK or that a token on another chain is interchangeable with the Ethereum token. A bridge can add fees, delays, and smart-contract or custody risks. Check the destination network, token contract, and the receiving platform’s supported networks before confirming a transfer.

What could go wrong if you hold SPK?

SPK carries the risks of a volatile crypto asset and a governance token tied to a DeFi protocol. The protocol’s lending, stablecoin, and capital-allocation products may face smart-contract, market, liquidity, operational, or governance risks; holding SPK does not give you a guarantee against losses in those products. Spark describes a conservative risk approach, but that is not a promise that deployments or yield will be safe. Token supply changes, trading liquidity, and demand can also affect the price. Check what SPK governance rights currently allow, how any staking or incentive program works, and whether the token contract and wallet network are correct. Do not treat past price movements or Spark’s stablecoin products as assurance of SPK’s future value.

What does SPK’s price history tell you?

Spark’s launch date is not established here. The available price history shows a recorded all-time high of about $0.1845 on 2025-07-23 and a recorded low of about $0.0130 on 2026-08-19. As of 2026-11-08, SPK was about $0.016, down about 56.7% over the prior year. These are historical observations, not forecasts; prices can move sharply and may differ across trading venues. The gap between the recorded high and the later low illustrates why a price chart alone cannot tell you whether the token fits your risk tolerance. If you are comparing SPK with Spark’s yield products, assess the token and the product separately: they have different purposes, risks, and potential outcomes.

By the numbers

Spark in numbers

Spark (SPK) is ranked #412 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $54.9M and a price of $0.0160 as of Nov 8, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation is $160M, so roughly 34% of the eventual supply is in circulation today; tokens still to be released could add selling pressure.

The price was down 7.2% over 7 days, down 26.4% over 30 days, down 56.6% over the past year. It trades about 91% below its all-time high of $0.1845, set on Jul 23, 2025.

About 3.44B SPK are in circulation out of a maximum supply of 10B (34% issued).

24-hour trading volume was about $3.07M, or 5.6% of its market cap: moderate turnover.

SPK has token contracts on Ethereum. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.

SPK is linked to Spark Savings, which we cover in our Yield Aggregator rankings. See our Spark Savings page for how the protocol works and how we score it.

SPK FAQs

What is SPK used for?

SPK is Spark’s governance token. Spark’s yield-bearing stablecoin products, such as sUSDS and sUSDC, are separate assets; holding SPK does not automatically earn their yield.

Which blockchain is SPK on?

SPK is issued on Ethereum. Use a wallet that supports Ethereum tokens, verify the correct token contract and network, and check an exchange’s supported deposit or withdrawal network before sending.

What is SPK’s maximum supply?

SPK has a maximum supply of 10 billion tokens. About 3.44 billion were circulating as of 2026-11-08; the schedule for further changes in circulation is not established here.

Can you stake SPK?

Some public descriptions mention staking or incentives, but the current terms and mechanics are not established here. Check Spark’s live protocol rules before committing tokens.

What fees apply when sending SPK?

An Ethereum transfer generally requires gas, paid in the network’s gas token. The cost changes with network demand, and exchanges may charge separate withdrawal fees.

What is the market cap of Spark?

As of Nov 8, 2026, Spark had a market cap of about $54.9M, ranking #412 among cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation. Market cap is price multiplied by circulating supply, so it moves with the price.

What is the all-time high of SPK?

Spark's all-time high is $0.1845, reached on Jul 23, 2025. Its all-time low is $0.0130 (Aug 19, 2026). Past prices say nothing about future returns.

What is the circulating supply of SPK?

As of Nov 8, 2026, about 3.44B SPK were in circulation, against a maximum supply of 10B.

Which blockchains is SPK on?

It has token contracts on Ethereum.
