Owning EUL: Uses, Storage and Risks
EUL is tied to Euler’s decentralized lending protocol, but holding the token is different from depositing into a lending market. Check the chain, token contract, governance terms and vault risks before you act.

## What does EUL let you do?
EUL is Euler’s protocol token; Euler itself is a decentralized lending protocol where users can lend and borrow crypto assets. The protocol’s design lets markets support a wider range of tokens, but each market can carry different risks. You do not need to hold EUL simply to use a lending market, and owning EUL does not mean you have a claim on deposits or lending income.
EUL is connected to the project’s governance: decisions about how protocol revenue is allocated can be made through governance, and the project has described converting some non-EUL revenue into EUL for the DAO treasury or other governance-directed uses. Check current governance rules before assuming that holding EUL gives you voting rights or a particular share of revenue. Those rights depend on the rules in force, not just on having tokens in a wallet.
## Which chains and wallets can hold EUL?
EUL has been issued on Ethereum, BNB Chain, Avalanche, Arbitrum, Plasma, Sonic, Unichain, Base, TAC, Swellchain and Berachain. These are separate networks, so an EUL balance on one chain is not automatically available on another. Before sending, check the receiving wallet supports both the token and the exact network you select.
Use a wallet that supports the relevant chain and lets you verify the token contract address. Hardware wallets can keep signing keys offline, while a software wallet may be more convenient for interacting with Euler; either way, confirm contract details through Euler’s official channels before adding a token or making a transfer. Do not assume that a token with the EUL name on a network is genuine. If you bridge tokens, check the bridge, destination network and resulting token representation carefully. A transfer to an unsupported network or address may be difficult or impossible to recover.
## How much EUL exists, and what can change?
As of 2026-11-08, EUL’s circulating supply was about 24.0 million, with total supply about 27.18 million and a stated maximum of about 27.18 million tokens. The supplied total and maximum figures differ by a fraction of a token because of rounding. Supply figures can change as tokens move between circulating and non-circulating categories, so treat them as a dated snapshot rather than a guarantee of future availability.
EUL was about $0.97 on that date, with a market capitalization of about $23.3 million. These figures are volatile and are not a measure of what the token will be worth later. Check the circulating supply, token contract and market price again before making a transaction, especially if you are comparing EUL across different chains or exchanges.
## How should you store EUL, and what can go wrong?
For long-term storage, keep EUL in a wallet where you control the private keys, and consider a hardware wallet if the value makes the added setup worthwhile. Back up the recovery phrase offline, keep it private, and never enter it into a website or share it with someone claiming to provide support. Test a small transfer first if you are unsure about the network or address.
EUL’s main risks include sharp price changes, limited liquidity, and changes to the project’s governance or token arrangements. The token itself does not remove the risks of Euler’s lending markets: smart-contract failures, market disruptions, or a collateral position falling below its required level can result in losses or liquidation. Euler V2 markets are configurable, so inspect each vault’s collateral, rates, available liquidity and liquidation rules separately before depositing or borrowing. Do not treat one vault’s terms as applying to every market.
By the numbers
Euler in numbers
Euler (EUL) is ranked #743 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $23.3M and a price of $0.9692 as of Nov 8, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation is $26.3M, so roughly 88% of the eventual supply is in circulation today; tokens still to be released could add selling pressure.
The price was down 16.5% over 7 days, down 27.2% over 30 days, down 83.7% over the past year. It trades about 94% below its all-time high of $15.81, set on Jul 10, 2025.
About 24.03M EUL are in circulation out of a maximum supply of 27.18M (88% issued).
24-hour trading volume was about $523K, or 2.2% of its market cap: moderate turnover.
EUL has token contracts on 11 chains we track, including Ethereum, BNB Chain, Avalanche, Arbitrum. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.
EUL is linked to Euler V2, which we cover in our Lending rankings. See our Euler V2 page for how the protocol works and how we score it.

EUL FAQs
What is EUL used for?
EUL is Euler’s protocol token and is connected to its governance and DAO treasury. Holding it does not automatically give you a claim on lending deposits or yield; check current governance rules for any voting rights.
Which networks support EUL?
EUL has been issued on Ethereum, BNB Chain, Avalanche, Arbitrum, Plasma, Sonic, Unichain, Base, TAC, Swellchain and Berachain. Confirm that your wallet supports the exact network and token contract before sending.
What is EUL’s circulating supply?
As of 2026-11-08, circulating supply was about 24.0 million EUL, while total supply was about 27.18 million. The stated maximum is also about 27.18 million, subject to minor rounding differences.
Can I keep EUL in a wallet?
You can hold EUL in a wallet that supports its token standard and the network where your tokens are located. A self-custody wallet gives you control of the keys, so protect your recovery phrase and verify the token contract before interacting.
Can you lose money holding or using EUL?
Yes. EUL’s price can move sharply, and tokens on different chains may have different liquidity or transfer risks. Euler lending markets also carry smart-contract, collateral and liquidation risks; review each vault’s rules separately.
What is the market cap of Euler?
As of Nov 8, 2026, Euler had a market cap of about $23.3M, ranking #743 among cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation. Market cap is price multiplied by circulating supply, so it moves with the price.
What is the all-time high of EUL?
Euler's all-time high is $15.81, reached on Jul 10, 2025. Its all-time low is $0.7197 (Mar 29, 2026). Past prices say nothing about future returns.
What is the circulating supply of EUL?
As of Nov 8, 2026, about 24.03M EUL were in circulation, against a maximum supply of 27.18M.
Which blockchains is EUL on?
It has token contracts on Ethereum, BNB Chain, Avalanche, Arbitrum, Plasma, Sonic, Unichain, Base and 3 more.
