What does holding ZEST actually give you?
Zest Protocol describes ZEST as its native token. The protocol focuses on Bitcoin lending and borrowing, including Bitcoin Collateral Vaults, but that does not mean holding ZEST is the same as depositing BTC or borrowing against it. The protocol description does not specify particular holder rights such as governance, fee sharing, staking rewards or a required use for ZEST.
Before you buy or transfer ZEST, check what the protocol currently lets token holders do and whether that use matters to you. Don’t assume that lending yields paid by a protocol are automatically available to ZEST holders. ZEST’s market price can also move independently of the amount of BTC deposited in Zest Protocol or demand for its lending products. Treat the token and any lending position as separate exposures, each with its own risks.
Which network and wallet should you use for ZEST?
ZEST is issued on BNB Chain, Ethereum, Base and Stacks. It is not listed as the native token of any of those chains. This matters when you choose a wallet or make a transfer: a wallet must support the specific network and token version you intend to use. A deposit address or token display on one network may not work for another.
Before sending ZEST, check the receiving platform’s supported network, then confirm the network and token contract against Zest Protocol’s official information. Do a small test transfer if the amount justifies the extra transaction cost. Don’t assume that a token shown as ZEST on one chain is automatically interchangeable with a token shown under the same name on another. Network transfers, bridges and exchanges can add separate fees and risks; the fee depends on the route and service you use.
How much ZEST exists, and what does that mean?
ZEST has a maximum and total supply of 1 billion tokens, with 146 million circulating, according to figures dated November 8, 2026. That leaves a substantial difference between circulating supply and the maximum supply. Future releases or changes in circulating supply could affect how scarce the token is, so check the current token distribution and release schedule before relying on today’s circulating figure.
As of November 8, 2026, ZEST’s market capitalization was about $21.6 million and its fully diluted valuation was about $147.8 million. These are snapshots, not fixed values: price and market capitalization can change quickly. A fully diluted valuation estimates the value if the full supply were counted at the current price; it does not mean that all tokens are currently available to trade. Use these figures as context, not as a forecast or a reason on their own to buy or sell.
How can you store ZEST, and what could go wrong?
For storage, choose a wallet that supports ZEST on the exact network you need. Keep your recovery phrase offline and private, and never share it with someone claiming they need it to unlock tokens or verify your wallet. Check the network and receiving address carefully before confirming a transaction; transfers to an incompatible address or chain may be difficult or impossible to recover.
Holding ZEST exposes you to token-price volatility, while using Zest Protocol for Bitcoin-backed lending adds different risks. Smart-contract bugs, changing collateral values, liquidation rules and limited liquidity can affect a lending position. Cross-chain transfers add bridge and network risks. These are general risks of crypto tokens and on-chain lending, not a claim that a particular failure has occurred at Zest. Review the protocol’s current terms and security information before depositing assets, and don’t commit funds you cannot afford to lose.

What is ZEST used for?
Zest Protocol identifies ZEST as its native token and focuses on Bitcoin lending and borrowing. Specific holder rights such as staking, governance or fee sharing are not described in the project description.
Which chains support ZEST?
ZEST is issued on BNB Chain, Ethereum, Base and Stacks. Check that your wallet or exchange supports the network you plan to use before depositing or transferring tokens.
What is the total supply of ZEST?
The stated maximum and total supply is 1 billion ZEST, with 146 million circulating as of November 8, 2026. Circulating supply can change, so check for an updated figure when making a decision.
