What can you use USD1 for?
USD1 is a dollar-pegged stablecoin intended to trade close to US$1. You may find it useful for holding dollar-denominated value between crypto trades, moving value across supported networks, or using it in services that accept it. Those uses depend on the exchange, wallet or application supporting the exact USD1 token on the network you choose.
A peg is a target, not a guarantee that you can always sell for exactly one dollar. USD1 traded at about $0.9977 on 2026-11-08, a small discount to its intended value. A market price also does not by itself prove that every holder can redeem tokens directly with an issuer for dollars. Check the current redemption terms and the platform’s rules before relying on USD1 for a payment or short-term cash holding.
Which networks and wallets can hold USD1?
USD1 is issued on BNB Chain, Monad, Ethereum, Solana, Plume Mainnet, Tron, Aptos and Mantle. It is not listed as the native token of any of these networks; it is a token deployed on them. That distinction matters: a wallet or exchange supporting USD1 on one chain may not support it on another.
Choose a wallet that supports both the network and the particular USD1 token you hold. Before depositing or withdrawing, match the network on both sides and check the token identity and address through the project’s official channels. A transfer to an unsupported network or token address can be difficult or impossible to recover. Do not assume that two tokens labelled USD1 on different chains can be moved directly between them; moving across chains may require a bridge or a service that handles the conversion. Keep a small amount of the relevant network’s gas token available if you need to send USD1 from a self-custody wallet.
How much USD1 exists, and what can move its price?
USD1’s reported circulating and total supply were both about 3.45 billion tokens on 2026-11-08. No maximum supply is listed. For a stablecoin, supply can change as tokens are issued or removed, but USD1’s specific issuance, burning and redemption process is not established by these figures alone.
The price can move away from one dollar when buyers and sellers are imbalanced, liquidity is thin, or confidence in redemption or reserves changes. On 2026-11-08, USD1’s market capitalization was about $3.44 billion and its 24-hour trading volume was about $445 million; both figures change over time and do not guarantee that you can sell a large amount at the displayed price. The reported all-time high was $1.048 and the all-time low was $0.988762, both on 2026-07-09. These past prices show that the peg can vary; they do not indicate where it will trade next.
How do you get and store USD1?
You can generally obtain a stablecoin through a platform that lists it, or receive it from another holder, subject to that service’s availability and rules. Check that the asset is USD1—not another token with a similar name—and select the network your receiving wallet supports. A platform may show different USD1 deposit options by chain, and its own withdrawal conditions can apply.
For self-custody, keep the wallet’s recovery phrase offline and private. Anyone who gets it may be able to control the assets, and a wallet provider cannot necessarily restore access if you lose it. For a custodial account, review the provider’s account-security and withdrawal terms. If you plan to rely on USD1 as dollar value, separately check the issuer’s current reserve disclosures and redemption conditions; a token balance in a wallet is not the same as a bank deposit or a guaranteed claim available on demand.
What does it cost to move USD1?
A USD1 transfer can involve the network’s transaction fee, usually paid in that chain’s own gas token. The exact amount varies with network congestion, transaction type and wallet settings, so there is no single USD1 fee that applies across all eight networks. Check the fee estimate in your wallet or exchange before confirming a transfer, and make sure you have the required gas token in the sending wallet.
Moving USD1 between chains may add a bridge or conversion fee, as well as the fees for transactions on the networks involved. A bridge also introduces a separate operational and smart-contract risk; it is not simply the same as sending USD1 on one chain. If you withdraw from an exchange, the platform may set its own minimums, processing times or charges. Compare the full amount you will receive, not just the displayed network fee, and avoid sending a test-sized amount unless its cost is acceptable.
What risks should you check before holding USD1?
USD1 carries the risks of a stablecoin as well as ordinary crypto custody risks. Its dollar target can break, and selling may be harder or more expensive if liquidity falls or a platform suspends deposits and withdrawals. The issuer’s reserve arrangements, redemption eligibility and operating controls are central to assessing whether the peg is supported; do not infer those protections from the token’s name or market capitalization.
Check current issuer disclosures for reserve composition, independent attestations or audits, redemption rules and the entities involved. Confirm that a platform supports the specific network and token you hold. Also consider smart-contract vulnerabilities, bridge failures, network outages, address mistakes and the possibility of losing wallet access. USD1 is not a bank account, and crypto holdings may not receive the protections that apply to insured deposits. Avoid treating a near-one-dollar quote as proof of guaranteed value or immediate convertibility.
What is known about USD1’s history?
A launch date, detailed project description and consensus or hashing mechanism are not established for USD1 in the token facts used for this guide. USD1 is listed as a stablecoin issued across multiple networks, rather than as a network’s native coin. The supplied market snapshot also places it in the World Liberty Financial portfolio category, but that label alone does not explain the issuer’s legal structure or the token’s backing.
For a history you can rely on, look for dated issuer announcements about launches, new chain deployments, reserve reporting and changes to redemption terms. Treat claims about affiliations, compliance or adoption as claims to verify rather than as proof of safety. On 2026-11-08, the reported price was about $0.9977, compared with a listed high and low of $1.048 and $0.988762 on 2026-07-09. The price record is a market snapshot, not a complete account of the project’s history.
