What does holding USDD let you do?

USDD is designed to stay close to one US dollar, so holding it is different from holding a token whose value is meant to rise or fall with the market. You may encounter it for crypto transfers, trading, or use in lending and liquidity services, but availability depends on the exchange or protocol you use. A dollar target does not make USDD cash or a bank deposit, and it does not guarantee that you can redeem each token for one dollar whenever you want. The TRON DAO Reserve says it manages USDD and supports its price stability. Before relying on that promise, check the current redemption and conversion terms and how the reserves are verified. If you need money for a near-term expense, account for the chance that USDD trades below its target or cannot be converted quickly.

Which networks and wallets can hold USDD?

USDD is issued on TRON, Ethereum, and BNB Chain; it is not listed as the native token of any of them. To hold it, use a wallet that supports the specific network and token contract you receive. A wallet address on one chain is not automatically interchangeable with an address or balance on another, so confirm the network before depositing or withdrawing. Sending USDD to an unsupported chain or address can make it difficult or impossible to recover. You can hold the token in a self-custody wallet, where you control the recovery phrase, or with a service that holds crypto for you. Self-custody puts responsibility for backups and transaction signing on you; a custodial service adds its own access, withdrawal, and counterparty risks. Keep the recovery phrase offline and never share it with anyone claiming to help.

How is USDD meant to hold its dollar peg?

USDD targets a one-dollar value, and the TRON DAO Reserve says it manages the token and guarantees price stability. That statement is not the same as a redemption right you can exercise on demand. Check whether the route you plan to use actually offers a direct conversion, which assets it accepts, and whether limits or eligibility conditions apply. USDD documentation describes a Peg Stability Module for conversions with other stablecoins as zero-fee, but that does not mean every way of acquiring, swapping, or transferring USDD is free. Network gas, exchange charges, and the terms of a particular conversion can still matter. A stablecoin peg can also weaken if market confidence, liquidity, or redemption access deteriorates. Treat the target as a design goal, not a guaranteed market price, and check the live rate and conversion terms when you need to move funds.

How much USDD is in circulation?

As of November 8, 2026, USDD has about 1.519 billion tokens in circulation and about 1.522 billion total supply. No maximum supply is listed. The circulating amount is therefore close to the total, but the small difference may change as tokens are issued, removed from circulation, or otherwise accounted for. The project does not publish a simple supply rule here that explains exactly what causes those changes, so do not assume supply is fixed or that a particular market move will trigger a predictable adjustment. The same date's market capitalization is about $1.52 billion; market capitalization changes with both circulating supply and price. These figures are snapshots, not promises about future supply or value. If supply matters to your decision, check current figures and the issuer's disclosures rather than relying on an older number.

How do you get USDD, and what does moving it cost?

People generally obtain USDD through a crypto exchange, a supported swap service, or an available conversion route such as the USDD Peg Stability Module. Access, accepted assets, and terms can vary by service and location; check what the route actually supports before sending funds. Moving USDD costs depend on the network you choose. A transfer on TRON, Ethereum, or BNB Chain uses that network's transaction fee system, and fees can change with congestion and the asset used to pay gas. An exchange may also charge a trading or withdrawal fee. Moving USDD between networks usually involves a bridge or other cross-chain service, which can add fees, delays, and smart-contract or custody risks. Confirm the destination network and the final amount before approving a transaction. Never assume a quoted conversion fee includes the network fee.

What could go wrong while you hold USDD?

The main risk is that USDD may trade away from one dollar or become harder to convert when you need liquidity. Stablecoin prices can slip during market stress, and the stated peg depends on confidence in the reserve arrangements, conversion mechanisms, and access to markets. Check how reserve holdings are verified and whether redemption terms are clear; a management or stability claim alone does not answer those questions. USDD also has the usual crypto risks: a wallet mistake can be irreversible, a service can pause withdrawals, and a smart-contract or bridge failure can cause losses. Holding it through a custodian adds the risk that the service may restrict access or fail. As of November 8, 2026, the reported price was about $0.999, but that snapshot cannot ensure future stability. Do not treat USDD as insured cash or keep funds in it that you cannot afford to have delayed or lose.

When did USDD launch, and what has its history shown?

USDD launched in 2022 and is associated with TRON. It is now issued on TRON, Ethereum, and BNB Chain, giving holders more than one network on which to use the token, but also making network selection important for every transfer. Its stated purpose is to function as a decentralized stablecoin tied to the US dollar, with the TRON DAO Reserve managing it. USDD has not stayed exactly at one dollar in every market condition: its reported all-time low was about $0.928 on June 19, 2022, and its reported all-time high was about $1.24 on July 9, 2026. Those historical extremes show why a peg should not be treated as a guaranteed price. They do not predict where USDD will trade next. For current use, focus on the network, conversion access, reserve disclosures, and withdrawal terms relevant to the service you plan to use.

By the numbers

USDD in numbers

USDD (USDD) is ranked #58 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $1.52B and a price of $0.9991 as of Nov 8, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation ($1.52B) is close to its market cap, so little new supply is still to come.

The price was up 0.0% over 7 days, up 0.1% over 30 days, down 0.0% over the past year. It trades about 19% below its all-time high of $1.24, set on Jul 9, 2026.

About 1.52B USDD are in circulation. No hard maximum supply is listed, so new tokens can still be issued.

24-hour trading volume was about $565K, or 0.0% of its market cap: low turnover, so large orders can move the price.

USDD has token contracts on 3 chains we track, including Tron, Ethereum, BNB Chain. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.

USDD FAQs

Is USDD always worth one dollar?

USDD is designed to track one US dollar, but its market price can move above or below that target. A stated peg is not a guarantee of on-demand redemption at one dollar.

Which networks support USDD?

USDD is issued on TRON, Ethereum, and BNB Chain. Use a wallet and deposit address that support the exact network you choose, and check the network before sending.

How can I store USDD?

USDD can be held in a compatible self-custody wallet or through a custodial service. Self-custody means you are responsible for securing your recovery phrase; custodial services introduce their own access and withdrawal risks.

Are USDD transfers free?

Costs depend on how you acquire or move it. Network gas, exchange trading or withdrawal charges, and bridge fees may apply; a zero-fee conversion offer does not necessarily cover those other costs.

What is USDD’s supply?

No maximum supply is listed. As of November 8, 2026, circulating supply was about 1.519 billion USDD, while total supply was about 1.522 billion.
