What does holding AUDX give you?
AUDX is a token designed to represent Australian dollars on blockchain networks. You might use it to hold or transfer on-chain AUD value, trade it, or access financial applications that accept it. The project says it was initially built for institutional settlement and banking access, with possible uses in tokenised real-world assets, collateralised lending and cross-border payments. Those are intended uses, not a guarantee that every application or merchant accepts AUDX.
AUDX is issued by Tau Pty Ltd, trading as AUDX Token. The issuer describes it as fully backed, with reserves held 1:1 in regulated financial institutions. That is an issuer claim, not the same as a bank deposit guarantee or proof that you can always redeem tokens promptly at face value. Before relying on AUDX as cash, check the issuer’s current redemption terms, reserve reporting and the rules that apply to you.
Which chains and wallets can you use for AUDX?
AUDX is issued on Ethereum, Solana, BNB Chain, Base, Arbitrum, XDC, Polygon, Conflux and Hyperliquid L1. It is not the native coin of those networks. You need a wallet that supports the specific network and AUDX token you plan to use; a wallet that supports Ethereum does not automatically support your AUDX on Solana or another chain.
Before sending or receiving, confirm the network and token contract address with the issuer or a trusted exchange. The contract addresses are not included here, so do not select one based on a token name or ticker alone. A wrong-network transfer or a transfer to an unsupported address may be difficult or impossible to recover. If AUDX is represented through a bridge on a particular chain, check whether you are handling the issuer’s token or a bridged version, which can add separate bridge and redemption risks.
How much AUDX exists, and what backs it?
The reported circulating and total supply are both about 4.05 million AUDX as of 2026-11-08. No maximum supply is published. For a reserve-backed stablecoin, supply can change as tokens are issued or redeemed; the supply figure alone does not establish that matching reserves are available.
Tau Pty Ltd describes AUDX as fully backed 1:1 by Australian dollars held in regulated financial institutions, and the project describes its audits as independent. Check the latest reserve and audit reports before treating that as verified coverage: look for the report date, what assets and liabilities it covers, and whether the figures match the outstanding token supply. AUSTRAC registration is not the same as a banking licence, prudential supervision or a guarantee of redemption. The issuer’s statements about reserves and its ASX-listed ADI partner should not be taken as a promise that your tokens are insured.
Why can AUDX trade below US$1?
AUDX is linked to the Australian dollar, not the US dollar. Its quoted USD price therefore depends on both its AUD value and the AUD/USD exchange rate. As of 2026-11-08, AUDX was priced at about US$0.69, with a reported market capitalisation of about US$2.8 million and 24-hour trading volume of about US$1,251. These figures can change quickly and do not show whether you can redeem tokens directly with the issuer.
The reported trading volume is small, so a market order may have limited buyers or sellers and could execute at a worse price than you expect. Check the order book, spread, withdrawal options and redemption conditions on the venue you intend to use. A stablecoin can trade below its intended value if confidence, liquidity or redemption access weakens; its AUD link does not guarantee a fixed US-dollar price.
How should you store AUDX, and what can go wrong?
Keep AUDX only in a wallet that supports its exact chain and token contract. For self-custody, protect your recovery phrase offline, never share it, and test a small transfer before moving a larger balance. For exchange custody, use strong account security and check whether AUDX withdrawals are enabled on the same network you plan to use.
Your main risks are different from simply losing access to a wallet. The token could lose its AUD peg, reserve reporting may not give you enough assurance, or issuer redemption could be delayed or unavailable. Low trading volume can make selling harder or more costly. Smart-contract, bridge, network and exchange failures can also affect access, especially if you hold a bridged version. Confirm the issuer’s redemption rules and the token contract before relying on AUDX for payments or short-term cash needs. Do not assume AUSTRAC registration or an audit removes these risks.
By the numbers
Aussie Dollar Token in numbers
Aussie Dollar Token (AUDX) is ranked #2,082 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $2.79M and a price of $0.6872 as of Nov 8, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation ($2.79M) is close to its market cap, so little new supply is still to come.
The price was down 2.3% over 7 days, down 1.4% over 30 days. It trades about 44% below its all-time high of $1.22, set on Feb 2, 2026.
About 4.05M AUDX are in circulation. No hard maximum supply is listed, so new tokens can still be issued.
24-hour trading volume was about $1.25K, or 0.0% of its market cap: low turnover, so large orders can move the price.
AUDX has token contracts on 9 chains we track, including Ethereum, Solana, BNB Chain, Base. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.

AUDX FAQs
Is AUDX pegged to the US dollar?
AUDX is designed to track the Australian dollar, not the US dollar. Its US-dollar price also moves with the AUD/USD exchange rate, and market trading can push it away from its intended AUD value.
How many AUDX tokens are there?
The reported circulating and total supply were both about 4.05 million AUDX as of 2026-11-08. No maximum supply is published, and a supply figure by itself does not confirm reserve coverage.
Which networks support AUDX?
AUDX is issued on Ethereum, Solana, BNB Chain, Base, Arbitrum, XDC, Polygon, Conflux and Hyperliquid L1. Use a wallet that supports the exact network and verify the token contract before transferring.
Is AUDX fully backed?
The issuer says AUDX is backed 1:1 by Australian-dollar reserves held in regulated financial institutions. Check current reserve reports and redemption terms yourself; AUSTRAC registration does not guarantee repayment or make AUDX an insured bank deposit.
What can you use AUDX for?
The project’s stated aim is to represent Australian-dollar value on-chain, including for transfers, trading and financial applications. Actual uses depend on whether a wallet, exchange or application accepts AUDX on the network you hold it on.
What is the market cap of Aussie Dollar Token?
As of Nov 8, 2026, Aussie Dollar Token had a market cap of about $2.79M, ranking #2,082 among cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation. Market cap is price multiplied by circulating supply, so it moves with the price.
