What can holding ENJ actually do for you?
ENJ is the utility token for Enjin’s gaming and digital-asset ecosystem. You may encounter it in connection with creating or managing blockchain items, transactions, governance, and NFTs built with Enjin tools. On Enjin Blockchain, creators can also infuse assets with ENJ, tying a token to a specified amount of ENJ. That can affect how an item is valued or used, but it does not guarantee that anyone will want to buy or trade it.
Holding ENJ does not automatically give you access to a game, a particular NFT, or a share of Enjin’s business. The benefits depend on the applications and assets that use the ecosystem. Enjin also offers a blockchain, wallet, marketplace, and developer tools; using those products is separate from simply owning ENJ. Before you rely on ENJ for a game or asset, check which network it uses, whether the item can be transferred, and whether the game still supports it.
Which ENJ network and wallet should you check?
ENJ has been issued on Ethereum and Harmony, and Enjin now operates Enjin Blockchain, a Substrate-based proof-of-stake network designed for NFTs and digital assets. Those networks are not interchangeable. An ENJ token on one chain may not be usable by an application or exchange expecting it on another, so check the network and token details before depositing or sending.
Enjin Wallet is Enjin’s mobile wallet for managing cryptocurrencies and NFTs. Its general support for multiple assets does not mean every ENJ version or every network is supported in every wallet release. Confirm the exact network and asset compatibility in the wallet before transferring funds. You can also use another wallet that supports the relevant chain, but make sure you control the recovery phrase and that the wallet supports the token’s specific contract or network. If you use a custodial exchange, the platform controls the keys and its deposit and withdrawal rules apply.
How much ENJ exists, and what can change its supply?
As of 2026-11-08, ENJ had about 2.02 billion tokens in circulation and about 2.04 billion total. No maximum supply is listed. These figures can change, so check current token data before making decisions that depend on supply.
Enjin’s supply history includes a move to its own blockchain, with mainnet ENJ allocated in connection with migrating existing ENJ and EFI tokens. That means circulating supply figures should be understood in the context of the migration, not as a simple count of newly created tokens alone. The ecosystem also has staking and NFT-related uses for ENJ, but the precise effect of those activities on circulating supply depends on the applicable network rules. Do not assume that staking or infusing an NFT permanently removes tokens from circulation. The token’s price and market value can move independently of its supply, and past market highs or lows do not establish what it will be worth later.
How do you get and store ENJ without mixing up networks?
You can generally obtain ENJ through a cryptocurrency exchange that lists the version and network you need, or receive it from another wallet. Availability varies by country, platform, and chain. Before accepting a deposit address, confirm the exchange supports ENJ on that exact network; sending to an incompatible address or network can result in lost funds or a lengthy recovery process.
For self-custody, use a wallet that explicitly supports your ENJ network and keep its recovery phrase offline and private. Anyone with that phrase can control the wallet. A custodial account may be simpler to use, but you depend on the provider to safeguard assets and allow withdrawals. Consider a small test transfer when moving funds for the first time, and verify the recipient address and network carefully. These are general handling precautions, not a recommendation to buy or sell ENJ.
What might an ENJ transfer or bridge cost?
Your transfer cost depends on the network and the activity you choose. Ethereum transactions require gas, and the amount can vary with network demand and transaction complexity. Enjin describes its own blockchain as having low fees, but it does not publish a fixed fee that applies to every transaction. Check the wallet’s fee estimate before you confirm a transfer or NFT action. Harmony transactions also use that network’s fee system, where applicable.
Moving ENJ between networks may involve a bridge or an exchange rather than a simple wallet transfer. If you use a bridge, account for fees on both sides and check that the service supports the specific tokens and networks involved. Bridging also adds smart-contract, operational, and mistaken-network risks. Never assume that sending ENJ to an address on another chain will convert it automatically. The final amount received can differ from the amount sent because of network fees, bridge charges, or platform withdrawal fees.
What could go wrong with ENJ, staking, or NFTs?
ENJ carries the usual crypto risks: its market price can fall sharply, an exchange can restrict withdrawals, and a wrong-network transfer may be difficult or impossible to recover. NFTs and game items that use ENJ also depend on the relevant game, marketplace, wallet, and blockchain continuing to work. Ownership of a token does not guarantee that a game will keep supporting an item or that the item will retain demand.
Enjin’s wallet is described as a mobile wallet, but detailed security disclosures and a fixed staking-reward schedule are not published. Treat staking rewards as variable, and check the current terms and network requirements before committing tokens. Self-custody puts recovery and device security in your hands; custodial storage adds reliance on a service provider. Watch for fake wallet apps, impersonation, and requests for your recovery phrase. No legitimate support interaction should require you to disclose that phrase.
How did ENJ move from Ethereum toward Enjin Blockchain?
Enjin began as a gaming community platform in 2009 and shifted toward blockchain in 2017. ENJ launched on 2017-10-02, initially as an Ethereum token. Enjin’s work in gaming assets and NFTs includes support for the ERC-1155 token standard, which allows multiple types of tokens to be managed under a contract.
The project later developed Enjin Blockchain, a proof-of-stake chain built for NFTs and digital assets, alongside products such as Enjin Wallet, NFT.io Marketplace, and developer tools. The move to a dedicated blockchain also brought a migration involving ENJ and EFI, so older references to tokens or networks may not describe the version an app supports today. If you hold an older balance, check the current migration and network instructions through Enjin’s official product channels before moving it. Do not rely on an old exchange deposit address or an outdated wallet guide.

ENJ FAQs
Which blockchain is ENJ on?
ENJ has been issued on Ethereum and Harmony, and Enjin also operates its own proof-of-stake blockchain. Check which network a wallet, exchange, or application supports before you transfer.
Can I store ENJ in Enjin Wallet?
Enjin Wallet is Enjin’s mobile wallet for cryptocurrencies and NFTs. Confirm that your wallet version supports the specific ENJ network you hold; support for one version does not guarantee support for every chain.
What are ENJ transaction fees?
The transfer fee depends on the network and current conditions. Ethereum gas varies, and Enjin does not publish one fixed fee for every Enjin Blockchain transaction, so review the wallet estimate before confirming.
What is ENJ’s total supply?
As of 2026-11-08, about 2.02 billion ENJ were circulating and total supply was about 2.04 billion. No maximum supply is listed, and supply figures can change.
What is ENJ used for?
Enjin describes ENJ as having gaming, NFT, transaction, and governance uses in its ecosystem. Enjin NFTs can also be infused with a specified amount of ENJ, but holding the token alone does not grant access to a game or NFT.
What is the market cap of Enjin Coin?
As of Nov 8, 2026, Enjin Coin had a market cap of about $46.1M, ranking #462 among cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation. Market cap is price multiplied by circulating supply, so it moves with the price.
