What does holding DUSK let you do?

DUSK is the token used across the Dusk blockchain ecosystem. You can use it to pay for network transactions, deploy smart contracts and take part in staking. Staking supports block creation and validation: active provisioners put DUSK at stake and may receive rewards from token emissions and transaction fees. Rewards are not guaranteed, and staking can involve lock-up or slashing rules; check the current Dusk protocol terms before committing tokens.

Dusk is designed for financial applications involving real-world assets, with privacy-preserving contracts and compliance features. That does not mean holding DUSK gives you ownership of any property, security or other asset issued on the network. Nor does the project’s focus on regulated markets mean every token or service on Dusk is approved for you to use. Treat DUSK as a network token whose value can change, not as a claim on the assets or businesses built on the chain.

Which chains and wallets can hold DUSK?

DUSK is associated with the Dusk Layer 1 network and is also issued on Ethereum and BNB Chain. A token on one chain is not automatically interchangeable with the version on another. Before receiving or sending it, check the exact network and token contract supported by your wallet and the service you are using. Sending to an address on the wrong network can make recovery difficult or impossible.

You can generally store DUSK in a self-custody wallet that supports the relevant chain, or use a custodial account where the service supports the token. The project names Dusk Vault as an institutional custody solution, but that does not establish that it is a consumer wallet. Wallet availability and support can change, so confirm compatibility directly in the wallet before transferring. People generally obtain tokens through platforms that list them or through other holders; availability, identity checks and withdrawal options vary by provider. Keep your recovery phrase private, and never share it with someone claiming to help you access your tokens.

How much DUSK exists, and what can change its supply?

As of 2026-11-08, DUSK’s circulating and total supply were both about 613.3 million tokens, against a stated maximum supply of 1 billion. The difference between current supply and the maximum is not, by itself, a schedule for when additional tokens will enter circulation. Dusk does not publish an unlock timetable or a complete breakdown of future issuance here, so check the project’s current token disclosures before relying on an assumption about dilution.

Staking rewards are described as coming from token emissions and transaction fees, meaning emissions can affect the amount of DUSK in circulation over time. The balance of tokens held by owners can also shift as people stake, transfer or sell them, but those actions do not necessarily change total supply. As a market snapshot on 2026-11-08, DUSK was about $0.0705, with a market capitalization of about $43.2 million. These figures move constantly and are not a guide to future value.

What can it cost to send or bridge DUSK?

A DUSK transfer can involve a network transaction fee, and using DUSK on a smart contract may require additional transactions. The fee is separate from the amount you send. Network fees are variable, and Dusk does not publish a fixed fee that applies to every transaction. Check the fee shown by your wallet before confirming, and make sure you have enough of the required network asset to pay it.

Moving DUSK between Ethereum, BNB Chain and the Dusk network may require a supported bridge or exchange service. Bridging can add fees on the sending and receiving networks, as well as service charges or conversion costs. A bridge also introduces operational and smart-contract risks; using an unsupported route can leave tokens inaccessible. Confirm that both the source and destination networks support the same DUSK representation, review the final amount and destination address, and do a small test transfer when the cost and circumstances make that practical.

What could go wrong with holding DUSK?

DUSK carries the usual crypto risks: its market price can fall sharply, and you can lose some or all of what you hold. As of 2026-11-08, its seven-day price change was about -19.7% and its one-year change about -18.5%; past performance does not predict what happens next. Smaller or less liquid markets can also mean wider spreads or difficulty completing a trade at the price you expect.

There are additional network and custody risks. A wrong-chain transfer, lost recovery phrase, compromised wallet or failed bridge can result in permanent loss. Staking may expose you to lock-up conditions, penalties or technical failures; review the current protocol rules rather than assuming you can withdraw immediately. Dusk’s focus on regulated financial markets is not a guarantee of regulatory approval for every asset or service, nor does it remove legal or tax obligations that may apply to you. Check local rules before using tokenized financial products.

What is DUSK’s history, and what does its price record show?

DUSK was launched in 2018, and the project has described it as a proof-of-stake Layer 1 built for regulated financial markets. Its stated focus includes issuing, trading and settling real-world assets, with privacy-preserving smart contracts and compliance infrastructure. Dusk has also identified NPEX, a Dutch multilateral trading facility, and Quantoz, an issuer of the EURQ stablecoin, among its ecosystem relationships. These relationships do not guarantee that a particular asset is available to you or that it will retain value.

The token’s past market record shows substantial volatility. DUSK reached a recorded all-time high of about $1.09 on 2021-12-29 and a recorded low of about $0.0111 on 2020-03-12. Those historical points describe past trading, not likely future prices. If you are assessing DUSK today, focus on whether you understand its role, chain version, custody arrangements and potential losses—not on assuming it will revisit either historical extreme.

DUSK in numbers

DUSK (DUSK) is ranked #482 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $43.2M and a price of $0.0705 as of Nov 8, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation ($43.2M) is close to its market cap, so little new supply is still to come.

The price was down 19.7% over 7 days, down 10.1% over 30 days, down 18.5% over the past year. It trades about 94% below its all-time high of $1.09, set on Dec 29, 2021.

About 613.29M DUSK are in circulation out of a maximum supply of 1B (61% issued).

24-hour trading volume was about $2.57M, or 6.0% of its market cap: moderate turnover.

DUSK has token contracts on 2 chains we track, including Ethereum, BNB Chain. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.

CoinGecko groups DUSK under Layer 1 tokens, Real-world asset (RWA) tokens, Zero-knowledge (ZK) tokens.

DUSK FAQs

What is DUSK used for?

DUSK is used for transactions and smart contracts on the Dusk network, and it can be staked to support block creation and validation. Staking rewards may come from token emissions and transaction fees; terms and risks depend on current network rules.

What network is DUSK on?

DUSK is issued on Ethereum and BNB Chain and is associated with the Dusk Layer 1 network. Check the specific network and token version supported by your wallet before sending, because versions on different chains are not automatically interchangeable.

What is the maximum supply of DUSK?

As of 2026-11-08, circulating and total supply were both about 613.3 million DUSK, with a stated maximum of 1 billion. Staking emissions may affect circulation over time, and a complete future unlock schedule is not published.

How much does it cost to send DUSK?

The fee depends on the network and transaction. Transfers and smart-contract actions can require network fees, while bridges may add fees on both chains or service charges. Check the amount in your wallet or service before confirming.

Where can I store DUSK?

Use a wallet or custodial service that explicitly supports DUSK on the chain you intend to use. Confirm the network before depositing, protect your recovery phrase, and check whether you can withdraw tokens from a custodial account.

What is the market cap of DUSK?

As of Nov 8, 2026, DUSK had a market cap of about $43.2M, ranking #482 among cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation. Market cap is price multiplied by circulating supply, so it moves with the price.

What is the all-time high of DUSK?

DUSK's all-time high is $1.09, reached on Dec 29, 2021. Its all-time low is $0.0111 (Mar 12, 2020). Past prices say nothing about future returns.
