What do you use CCD for?
CCD is Concordium’s native token. You use it to pay transaction fees on the Concordium blockchain; network validators receive fees, according to project materials. Concordium also supports staking, though the amount you may earn and any conditions depend on the current protocol and staking method. Check the wallet or staking service’s terms before committing tokens.
A transaction can cost CCD even when the asset you are transferring is another token on Concordium. Confirm the network and fee shown in your wallet before approving, and keep some CCD available if you expect to make further transactions. Fees are not a fixed dollar amount: their value changes with CCD’s market price, and the wallet’s displayed estimate is the practical figure to review before signing.
CCD’s role is tied to Concordium’s own chain. Do not assume that holding CCD on an exchange or another network gives you the same ability to pay Concordium fees or stake it.
Which chain and wallet should you use for CCD?
Concordium is a Layer 1 blockchain, and CCD is its native token. The supplied chain listings do not identify CCD as issued on any other chain. If you are withdrawing CCD from an exchange or moving it between wallets, select Concordium as the destination network and check that the receiving address is compatible. Sending assets on the wrong network can make them difficult or impossible to recover.
Use a wallet that explicitly supports Concordium and CCD. Wallet support can change, so confirm that the wallet can receive, send and, if needed, stake CCD before transferring funds. Also check whether the wallet supports Concordium’s identity steps; the project describes identity as part of its account model.
For an exchange withdrawal, compare the network selected by the exchange with the network shown in your receiving wallet. A small test transfer can help catch an address or network mismatch before you move a larger balance. Never share your recovery phrase with a wallet support agent or enter it into an unfamiliar site.
How much CCD is in circulation?
Concordium’s reported circulating supply was about 12.78 billion CCD, with total supply of about 14.74 billion, as of 2026-11-08. No maximum supply is listed. Circulating and total supply are different measures: total supply includes tokens that may not currently be circulating, so the figures do not mean every CCD is available to trade.
Supply can change, and these numbers are a dated snapshot rather than a live balance. If supply matters to your decision, check Concordium’s current token information and understand how new issuance, staking rewards or other protocol changes may affect it. Do not treat market capitalisation or a token price as a guarantee of liquidity or future value.
CCD has previously traded at very different prices; its market price can move sharply. That matters for anyone budgeting transaction fees or valuing a wallet balance. Keep the number of tokens you hold separate from their changing value in dollars, and avoid relying on an old price when estimating what a transfer or stake is worth.
What does Concordium’s identity layer mean for you?
Concordium’s design links accounts—including human wallets and autonomous AI agents—to real-world identity checks through identity providers. The project says zero-knowledge proofs let users or agents prove selected attributes without revealing the underlying personal data. That can support verification while limiting disclosure, but it does not mean every action or account is anonymous.
Before creating an account or using an application, find out what information its identity provider requests, what you must disclose, and whether you can use the service in your location. A service may have its own eligibility and data-handling rules in addition to Concordium’s protocol features. Read those terms before submitting identity documents.
This identity model is a meaningful difference from chains where creating an account does not generally require a protocol-linked identity. If you prefer not to connect crypto activity with verified identity, consider whether Concordium’s account requirements fit your privacy needs before moving funds there.
What should you check before holding or staking CCD?
CCD carries ordinary crypto risks: its market value can fall, transfers may be irreversible, and losing your recovery phrase can mean losing access to your tokens. Store the phrase offline in a secure place, never share it, and use a strong device passcode. For a larger balance, consider a hardware wallet only if it supports Concordium and you understand its recovery process.
There are also network-specific questions to check. Confirm the current transaction fee in your wallet, review any staking lock-up or withdrawal conditions, and verify whether the app or service you plan to use has been independently assessed. An audit of a particular application does not establish that every wallet, bridge or protocol component is safe.
Identity verification creates a further consideration: personal-data handling depends on the relevant identity provider and service. Review what is collected and how it may be used. Do not invest money you cannot afford to lose, and do not treat the project’s identity or privacy features as a guarantee against software, market or operational failures.
By the numbers
Concordium in numbers
Concordium (CCD) is ranked #521 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $39.6M and a price of $0.003100 as of Nov 8, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation is $45.7M, so roughly 87% of the eventual supply is in circulation today; tokens still to be released could add selling pressure.
The price was up 6.3% over 7 days, down 6.1% over 30 days, down 89.3% over the past year. It trades about 98% below its all-time high of $0.1494, set on Feb 10, 2022.
About 12.78B CCD are in circulation, from a total supply of 14.74B. No hard maximum supply is listed.
24-hour trading volume was about $161K, or 0.4% of its market cap: low turnover, so large orders can move the price.

CCD FAQs
What is CCD used for?
CCD is Concordium’s native token and is used to pay transaction fees. Concordium also supports staking, subject to the method and conditions you choose.
Which network does CCD use?
CCD is native to the Concordium blockchain. Use a wallet that explicitly supports Concordium and verify the network before sending or receiving tokens.
Does using Concordium require identity verification?
Concordium links accounts to real-world identity checks through identity providers, while using zero-knowledge proofs to support proving attributes without revealing underlying personal data. The identity provider and service may still have their own information requirements.
What is CCD’s supply?
As of 2026-11-08, reported circulating supply was about 12.78 billion CCD and total supply about 14.74 billion. No maximum supply was listed.
How do you store CCD safely?
Use a wallet that explicitly supports Concordium and CCD, and confirm the destination network before transferring. Wallet support and identity steps can vary, so check both before sending funds.
What is the market cap of Concordium?
As of Nov 8, 2026, Concordium had a market cap of about $39.6M, ranking #521 among cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation. Market cap is price multiplied by circulating supply, so it moves with the price.
What is the all-time high of CCD?
Concordium's all-time high is $0.1494, reached on Feb 10, 2022. Its all-time low is $0.002358 (Nov 4, 2026). Past prices say nothing about future returns.
What is the circulating supply of CCD?
