What can you use RON for?
RON is the native token of Ronin, an EVM-compatible blockchain built for games and digital assets. You may need it to pay network fees for transactions on Ronin, and it can be staked through validators to help secure the network. Games and apps on Ronin may also use the chain for in-game transactions and digital collectibles, but holding RON does not automatically give you rights in a game or guarantee rewards.
Before sending RON, check what you want to do with it: pay for Ronin transactions, stake it, or hold it in a wallet. A token shown with the same ticker on another network may not be interchangeable with native RON. Fees and app features can change, so check the current transaction details in your wallet before confirming.
Which network and wallet should you use for RON?
RON runs on Ronin. Ronin is EVM-compatible, so some wallets built for Ethereum-style networks may support it, but support does not happen automatically. Ronin Wallet is one wallet option; confirm that your wallet is set to the Ronin network and that it recognizes the exact asset before you deposit or withdraw.
If you move tokens or NFTs between Ronin and Ethereum, you may use a bridge. A bridge transfer is different from an ordinary wallet transfer: you must select the correct source and destination networks, and follow the current steps shown by the wallet or bridge. Sending assets to the wrong network or address can make them difficult or impossible to recover. Never rely on a token name or ticker alone to confirm that an asset is genuine.
How much RON exists, and can the supply grow?
RON has a maximum supply of 1 billion tokens. As of November 8, 2026, about 772.4 million were circulating, while total supply was 1 billion. These figures describe the token supply, not how much RON is available to trade or how much you could sell without affecting the market.
A maximum supply does not mean every token is already circulating. The difference between circulating and total supply can matter if more tokens enter circulation over time. Check current supply figures before making a decision, since circulating-supply estimates can change. RON's market price and trading volume also move constantly; neither the supply cap nor a past price high tells you what the token will be worth later.
What could go wrong when you hold or move RON?
RON is a crypto asset, so its value can fall sharply and you could lose the amount you put into it. Staking adds its own risks: rewards are not guaranteed, and the validator or staking terms you choose can affect your position. Review the current rules, any lock-up or withdrawal conditions, and the validator's details before delegating tokens.
Ronin's history also makes transfer security especially important. Its bridge was hacked in 2022. That incident does not establish that every current Ronin transaction is unsafe, but bridges are a separate point of risk because they move assets between networks. Use only the current official bridge route, check each network and address carefully, and consider whether you need to bridge at all. Keep your recovery phrase offline and private; anyone who gets it can take control of your wallet.
