What does holding OMI let you do?
OMI is intended to support collecting in VeVe, ECOMI’s digital collectibles ecosystem. The project describes a planned loyalty program, the VeVe Master Collector Program, through which OMI could give collectors additional ways to build or expand their collections. That wording matters: a planned use is not the same as a feature you can rely on today.
Before holding OMI for a particular VeVe benefit, check whether that feature is currently live, what token actions it requires, and whether any eligibility rules apply. Don’t assume OMI is required to buy every collectible or that owning it guarantees rewards. The token’s value to you depends on the services and benefits that are actually available, not just intended uses.
OMI is associated with digital collectibles, NFTs and gaming, but it is not itself a collectible. You would hold a fungible token, whose market value can change independently of the popularity of a particular VeVe item.
Which chains and wallets support OMI?
OMI has been issued on Ethereum and Base. It is not listed as the native token of either network, so you need to choose the correct chain when receiving or sending it. A wallet must support the network you intend to use and allow you to manage the relevant OMI token. Check the token and network details against an official ECOMI or VeVe channel before transferring; a token with the same ticker on another network may not be the one you want.
For self-custody, keep your recovery phrase offline and never share it with someone claiming to provide support. A wallet address on Ethereum and one on Base may look similar, but sending assets on an unsupported network can make them difficult or impossible to recover. A centralized exchange may custody tokens for you, but its supported networks and withdrawal options can differ from your wallet’s.
The facts here do not identify specific wallets or current exchange support, so confirm compatibility directly with the service you plan to use.
How much OMI exists, and what can move its price?
As of 2026-11-08, OMI’s reported circulating supply was about 271 billion, total supply about 311 billion, and maximum supply 750 billion. These figures are not interchangeable: circulating supply estimates tokens in circulation, while maximum supply is the stated upper limit. Check a current token or project dashboard before relying on them, since supply figures can change.
The market price can move with demand for OMI, activity and benefits in VeVe, broader crypto-market conditions, and the amount of tokens available for trading. A dated snapshot put OMI near $0.00021, with a market capitalization of about $55.6 million; those are not current quotes or predictions. Trading volume and market capitalization can change quickly, and thin liquidity can make a quoted price difficult to realize on a large transaction.
The token’s stated maximum supply does not by itself establish how quickly remaining tokens may enter circulation. Review current token disclosures for any issuance, release, or removal mechanics before making assumptions about supply pressure.
How can you get and store OMI?
People generally obtain tokens through a supported exchange or transfer from another wallet. Availability depends on the provider, the user’s location, and whether it supports OMI on Ethereum, Base, or both. Check the exact network, withdrawal minimum, and any account requirements before moving tokens. This is practical guidance, not a recommendation to buy OMI.
For self-custody, use a wallet that supports the network receiving the token. Confirm the destination address and chain before approving a transfer, and consider a small test transfer if the amount and fees make that sensible. Keep your recovery phrase private and backed up securely; anyone who obtains it can control the assets.
If you use a custodial service, understand that the service controls the keys and may pause withdrawals or change supported networks. If you use a self-custody wallet, you are responsible for keeping the keys safe and for signing only transactions you understand. Neither approach removes the risk that OMI’s market value may fall.
What does an OMI transfer or bridge cost?
Sending OMI on Ethereum normally requires a network fee paid in ETH. On Base, transactions also require a network fee, generally paid in ETH on that network. These fees are separate from the amount of OMI you send and can vary with network demand, transaction complexity, and wallet or service charges. Check the fee shown by your wallet or exchange immediately before confirming; a fixed OMI transfer fee is not published here.
Moving OMI between Ethereum and Base may require a bridge or a service that supports both networks. A bridge can involve fees on the sending network, service charges, and waiting time; the cost and availability depend on the route and current conditions. A bridge transfer is not the same as sending tokens to an address on the other chain. Using the wrong method or network can strand funds.
Before bridging, confirm that the destination supports the resulting token and network, and review the route’s terms and risks. Never rely on a fee estimate from an old transaction.
What risks should you check before holding OMI?
OMI combines token-market risk with dependence on a particular collectibles ecosystem. If VeVe’s features, user demand, or support for OMI change, the token’s practical utility could change too. The planned loyalty-program benefits should not be treated as guaranteed unless they are currently available and their conditions are clear.
You also face ordinary crypto risks: sharp price moves, low liquidity, exchange outages, account compromise, and irreversible transfers to the wrong address or network. A bridge adds smart-contract and operational risks. A wallet or token bearing the same symbol may also be unrelated, so verify token identity before accepting a transfer.
ECOMI’s publicly stated information here does not establish an independent security audit, insurance, or a guarantee that tokens can be redeemed for collectibles or cash. Don’t expose your recovery phrase, and be wary of unsolicited messages offering rewards or help. Only hold an amount you can afford to lose, and confirm the current terms of any VeVe feature before relying on it.
What is known about OMI’s history?
OMI is the token issued by ECOMI and is intended for use in the VeVe digital collectibles ecosystem. The project describes it as a way to amplify the collecting experience, with a loyalty program intended to offer collectors additional ways to build or expand their collections. Check what is live now rather than assuming every planned use is already available.
A dated market snapshot records an all-time high of about $0.0134 on 2021-03-19 and an all-time low of about $0.00000337 on 2019-11-04. Historical extremes are not forecasts, and they do not indicate what you could sell OMI for today. The token has been issued on Ethereum and Base; it is not identified as native to either chain.
A launch date, detailed supply-release schedule, and consensus or hashing mechanism are not established here. Those details matter less to a holder than the current token contract, network, custody arrangements, and the real availability of VeVe utility, so verify those before moving or relying on OMI.
By the numbers
ECOMI in numbers
ECOMI (OMI) is ranked #405 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $55.6M and a price of $0.0002054 as of Nov 8, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation is $63.8M, so roughly 87% of the eventual supply is in circulation today; tokens still to be released could add selling pressure.
The price was down 21.4% over 7 days, down 25.7% over 30 days, up 40.0% over the past year. It trades about 98% below its all-time high of $0.0134, set on Mar 19, 2021.
About 270.95B OMI are in circulation out of a maximum supply of 750B (36% issued).
24-hour trading volume was about $861K, or 1.5% of its market cap: low turnover, so large orders can move the price.
OMI has token contracts on 2 chains we track, including Ethereum, Base. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.
