What does holding UP actually give you?

UP is Unitas’s ecosystem token, while USDu is the project’s dollar-denominated stablecoin. Search descriptions identify UP as a governance token, but Unitas has not clearly set out the specific voting rights UP holders receive or how much influence votes carry. Don’t assume that holding UP gives you a claim on protocol revenue, a share of reserves, or a right to redeem USDu.

Unitas describes its on-chain “dollar + yield” system as built around a JLP delta-neutral arbitrage engine, with other collateral and hedging layers on top. That describes the protocol’s strategy, not a guarantee that UP itself earns yield or stays stable in value. UP is a volatile crypto asset, not a dollar token. If you are considering it, check the token’s current contract and the project’s latest governance terms before relying on any claimed benefit.

Which chains and wallets can hold UP?

UP is issued on BNB Chain, Solana and Ethereum; it is not listed as the native token of any chain. A wallet must support the network on which your UP is held. For example, an Ethereum-compatible wallet cannot automatically manage a Solana token, and sending tokens across incompatible networks can lead to loss.

Before depositing or receiving UP, confirm the network and token contract address through Unitas’s official channels. Token names and symbols can be copied, and a wallet may display a fake token with the same ticker. If you use a custodial exchange, check which UP networks it supports for both deposits and withdrawals; support for one network does not imply support for the others. Test with a small transfer when practical, and never share your recovery phrase or approve a transaction you do not understand.

How much UP exists, and what can change?

UP has a maximum supply of 1 billion tokens. The reported total supply is about 1 billion, with roughly 216 million circulating as of 2026-11-08. The difference matters: tokens outside circulation may enter the market later, but the timing and release arrangements are not specified here. Check current project disclosures before making assumptions about future supply.

UP was priced at about $0.108 on 2026-11-08, with a market capitalization of about $23.3 million. Those figures can change quickly and are not a forecast or a measure of the token’s underlying safety. A smaller circulating supply than the total can also make it harder to judge potential dilution from headline market-cap figures alone. Avoid treating a past high or low as a guide to where the price will go next.

What could go wrong with UP or Unitas?

The main risks are token volatility, uncertain governance rights and reliance on the broader Unitas system. UP is separate from USDu, and holding UP does not make it a stablecoin. The protocol’s delta-neutral strategy and its collateral and hedging layers can face trading, liquidity, operational and smart-contract risks; a strategy intended to manage price exposure cannot remove all risk.

Unitas has not clearly set out the fees, safeguards and redemption terms relevant to assessing deposits into USDu. That is a reason to avoid assuming that a dollar peg or advertised yield is guaranteed. Before connecting a wallet, find out what assets a product accepts, how withdrawals and redemptions work, and what can happen during a disruption. For self-custody, use a wallet you control, keep its recovery phrase offline, and verify every network and transaction. Never share the phrase with anyone claiming to provide support.
