## What does VANA do for you?
VANA is the native token of Vana, an EVM-compatible Layer 1 network focused on data for AI. The project describes using Data Liquidity Pools (DLPs) to gather and validate contributed datasets, with data tokens representing participation in those pools. VANA is used for network transactions and ecosystem rewards; contributors, validators and DLP creators may receive it for their roles. A Proof-of-Contribution process is intended to check submissions.
Holding VANA does not by itself establish what rights you have over a dataset or how it may be used. Those details depend on the particular pool’s rules and permissions. Before you contribute personal information, check what the pool collects, who can access it, how it may be used, and whether you can withdraw or delete your contribution.
## Which chains and wallets can hold VANA?
VANA is native to the Vana chain. The token is also issued on Ethereum, Polygon, BNB Chain, Base, Arbitrum and Optimism, so the same ticker can refer to assets on different networks. A token sent to an address on the wrong network may not arrive as expected, and assets on separate chains are not automatically interchangeable.
Use a wallet that supports the Vana network or the specific network holding your VANA. EVM-compatible wallets may offer custom-network support, but confirm the current network details and token contract through Vana’s official channels before adding or receiving a token. Check the selected network every time you send. If you move VANA between chains, use a bridge only after checking its supported routes, fees and security risks; a bridge transfer is not the same as an ordinary wallet transfer.
## How much VANA is circulating, and what is the maximum?
As of November 8, 2026, VANA had about 30.8 million tokens in circulation, out of a total and maximum supply of 120 million. Circulating supply is the portion counted as circulating; it is not the same as the maximum supply, and the difference can affect how you interpret dilution and market value. Check current supply and token-release information before making a decision, since these figures can change.
VANA was about $0.76 per token on that date, with a market capitalization of about $23.3 million. These are dated market figures, not a guide to future value. A token’s market price can move sharply, and a quoted market value does not mean you can sell a large holding at that price. Consider liquidity as well as the amount you hold, and do not treat a past price or supply figure as a forecast.
## How can you store VANA and protect your data?
Keep VANA in a wallet where you control the recovery phrase, and store that phrase offline in a secure place. Never share it with a site, support agent or person claiming to help. For a hardware wallet, verify the device and destination address before approving a transaction. For any wallet, check the network and token contract before sending, and review smart-contract permissions periodically so you can revoke approvals you no longer need.
VANA carries risks beyond ordinary token-price volatility. If you connect or contribute personal data, review the pool’s consent terms, retention and deletion rules, access controls, and how data may be used or monetized. A blockchain transaction may be difficult or impossible to reverse, and bridges or smart contracts can have technical vulnerabilities. Vana’s data-focused model also makes privacy and custody questions central: do not contribute sensitive information unless you understand the specific permissions and risks.
By the numbers
Vana in numbers
Vana (VANA) is ranked #742 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $23.3M and a price of $0.7577 as of Nov 8, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation is $90.9M, so roughly 26% of the eventual supply is in circulation today; tokens still to be released could add selling pressure.
The price was down 10.4% over 7 days, down 24.7% over 30 days, down 75.1% over the past year. It trades about 98% below its all-time high of $35.23, set on Dec 16, 2024.
About 30.8M VANA are in circulation out of a maximum supply of 120M (26% issued).
24-hour trading volume was about $495K, or 2.1% of its market cap: moderate turnover.
VANA is the native token of Vana; it also has token contracts on 6 chains we track, including Ethereum, Polygon, BNB Chain, Base. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.
VANA is linked to Vana, which we cover in our Chain rankings. See our Vana page for how the protocol works and how we score it.

VANA FAQs
What is VANA used for?
VANA is used for transactions and rewards in the Vana ecosystem. The project says contributors, validators and Data Liquidity Pool creators may receive it for participating.
Which networks support VANA?
VANA is native to Vana and is also issued on Ethereum, Polygon, BNB Chain, Base, Arbitrum and Optimism. Check the selected network before receiving or sending it; tokens on different chains are not automatically interchangeable.
How do I store VANA safely?
Use a wallet that supports the network where your VANA is held. Confirm network details and the token contract through Vana’s official channels, and never share your recovery phrase.
What is VANA’s total supply?
As of November 8, 2026, about 30.8 million VANA were circulating, with a total and maximum supply of 120 million. Supply figures can change, so check current information before relying on them.
Does holding VANA mean I own the data in a pool?
Vana describes Data Liquidity Pools that collect and validate contributed datasets for AI-related uses. Before sharing data, review the specific pool’s permissions, access, retention and deletion terms; holding VANA alone does not define your data rights.
What is the market cap of Vana?
As of Nov 8, 2026, Vana had a market cap of about $23.3M, ranking #742 among cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation. Market cap is price multiplied by circulating supply, so it moves with the price.
What is the all-time high of VANA?
Vana's all-time high is $35.23, reached on Dec 16, 2024. Its all-time low is $0.7203 (Nov 5, 2026). Past prices say nothing about future returns.
What is the circulating supply of VANA?
