What does G let you do?
G is described as the utility token for both the Gravity blockchain and Galxe’s broader ecosystem. Its stated roles include paying transaction fees, staking to support network security, governance and payments. Those uses do not guarantee that every function is currently available: Galxe announced that Gravity Alpha Mainnet would shut down on November 1, 2026, and that date has passed. Check Galxe’s current instructions before relying on Gravity-network features or trying to move tokens.
G is not a share in Galxe, and holding it does not guarantee access to a product or a return. Its practical value depends on whether the networks and services that use it remain available, whether you can transfer it, and whether other people want to trade it. If you are considering holding G, first identify which network your tokens are on and whether they need to be migrated.
Which network is your G on after Gravity Alpha?
G has been issued on Ethereum, Base and BNB Chain. The project also describes it as the gas token for Gravity, but that does not mean every G token on those networks is the same on-chain asset or can be used for Gravity fees. A token on one network may need an approved bridge or migration process to work on another. Check the network and token contract shown in your wallet, and match them to Galxe’s current official instructions before sending anything.
Galxe’s announced deadline for moving G was October 25, 2026, ahead of the Gravity Alpha shutdown on November 1. Both dates have passed. If you missed the deadline, do not assume an old Gravity-network token is still transferable or that a bridge route remains open. Confirm the current process and destination network directly with Galxe. Never send tokens to an address supplied in a direct message or use a contract address you have not independently verified.
How much G exists, and how volatile is it?
G has a maximum supply of 12 billion tokens. About 7.23 billion were circulating out of 12 billion total as of November 8, 2026. The difference between circulating and total supply matters: tokens not currently circulating may enter circulation later, depending on the project’s distribution and release arrangements. A fixed maximum does not mean the circulating supply will stay fixed.
G traded at about $0.0030 on November 8, 2026, with a market capitalization of about $21.9 million and fully diluted valuation of about $36.3 million. These are snapshots, not a valuation guarantee; price and trading activity can change quickly. The token was also far below its recorded all-time high of about $0.0917 on July 18, 2024. Treat market figures as context for risk, not as a reason to expect a recovery or to buy or sell.
How should you store and transfer G?
You can store G in a wallet that supports the network and token contract you actually hold. For self-custody, keep your recovery phrase offline, never share it, and consider a hardware wallet for long-term storage. A wallet may display a token without supporting the network’s transfers or a migration, so confirm network compatibility before depositing or sending G.
Before a transfer, check the destination address, selected network and token contract. Send a small test amount only if the route is confirmed and the network supports it; a test transfer cannot make an unsupported or closed route safe. Keep a record of the network and any migration instructions you follow. If you use a custodial exchange, check whether it supports deposits and withdrawals for your specific G network, and review its terms. Custody with a third party means you rely on that provider to safeguard and release your tokens.
What could go wrong if you hold G?
G carries both ordinary crypto risks and a specific network-transition risk. Token prices can fall sharply, and thin trading or a lack of buyers can make it difficult to exit at a price you consider fair. The token’s advertised uses also depend on functioning networks and services; the Gravity Alpha shutdown makes it especially important to verify which chain and migration route are supported now.
Wrong-network transfers, fake migration pages, malicious wallet approvals and stolen recovery phrases can lead to permanent losses. Do not trust unsolicited offers to migrate G, and do not approve transactions you cannot explain. Check whether an announcement is current, verify the contract and destination independently, and be wary of anyone asking for your seed phrase. No investment is guaranteed, and a token’s past price or stated utility does not establish its future value or availability.
By the numbers
Gravity (by Galxe) in numbers
Gravity (by Galxe) (G) is ranked #777 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $21.9M and a price of $0.003023 as of Nov 8, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation is $36.3M, so roughly 60% of the eventual supply is in circulation today; tokens still to be released could add selling pressure.
The price was down 21.1% over 7 days, down 28.3% over 30 days, down 56.6% over the past year. It trades about 97% below its all-time high of $0.0917, set on Jul 18, 2024.
About 7.23B G are in circulation out of a maximum supply of 12B (60% issued).
24-hour trading volume was about $3.65M, or 17% of its market cap: high turnover.
G has token contracts on 3 chains we track, including Ethereum, Base, BNB Chain. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.

G FAQs
Which blockchains support G?
G has been issued on Ethereum, Base and BNB Chain. Check the network and contract in your wallet: tokens on one network should not be assumed to work on another or to pay Gravity-network gas.
Can I still migrate G after Gravity Alpha shut down?
Galxe announced an October 25, 2026 migration deadline and a November 1, 2026 Gravity Alpha Mainnet shutdown. Both dates have passed; confirm Galxe’s current migration instructions before attempting a transfer.
What is G used for?
G’s stated uses include Gravity transaction fees, staking, governance and payments across the Galxe ecosystem. Availability may depend on the network and the status of the relevant services, so verify current support before relying on a particular use.
What is the maximum supply of G?
G has a maximum supply of 12 billion, with about 7.23 billion circulating as of November 8, 2026. The circulating amount can change over time.
How do I store G safely?
Use a wallet that supports the network and token contract you hold, and keep your recovery phrase offline. Verify any migration route independently; never share your seed phrase or approve a transaction you do not understand.
