What can you use BREV for?

BREV is Brevis’s token for use in its verifiable-computing network. Brevis is described as infrastructure that lets smart contracts use computations and data from outside the chain, with zero-knowledge proofs used to verify results on-chain.

BREV is intended to pay proof fees, support prover staking and take part in governance. Provers need to stake BREV, or receive delegated stake, to qualify for jobs. This staking is meant to help deter Sybil activity and align provers’ incentives with the network. These uses depend on Brevis’s network and services; holding BREV does not by itself guarantee access to jobs, rewards or governance rights.

BREV has also been described as a possible gas token for a planned Brevis rollup. Treat that as a future use, not a current reason to assume you can pay transaction fees in BREV. Check which functions are live before relying on the token for a particular service.

Which networks and wallets support BREV?

BREV has been issued on Ethereum, BNB Chain and Base. It is not listed as the native token of any of these networks. That matters when you send it: you need the network that matches the receiving address, and you generally need the network’s native asset to pay transaction fees. For example, transfers on Ethereum and Base use ETH for gas, while BNB Chain uses BNB.

Use a wallet that supports the relevant network and BREV’s token format. Before adding the token manually, verify its contract address through an official Brevis channel; do not rely on a token name or symbol alone, since other tokens can use the same ticker. The contract address and balances can differ across networks.

If you withdraw BREV from an exchange, select the same network supported by your receiving wallet. A transfer sent on the wrong network may not arrive as expected. Moving tokens between networks can involve a bridge, which adds separate contract and transaction risks.

How many BREV tokens exist?

BREV has a maximum supply of 1 billion tokens. As of 2026-11-08, the reported circulating supply is 250 million, while total supply is 1 billion. The difference means not all tokens are reported as circulating; it does not, by itself, show when or how remaining tokens may enter circulation.

A larger circulating supply can affect how you interpret market capitalization compared with fully diluted valuation. As of 2026-11-08, BREV’s reported market capitalization was about $18 million and its fully diluted valuation about $71.8 million. Both are moving market figures, not guarantees of future value.

Before holding BREV, look for the project’s current token allocation and release schedule. Do not assume that the maximum supply is the same as the amount available to trade, or that tokens outside circulation are permanently locked. Supply figures can change as tokens are issued, unlocked or otherwise reclassified.

How can you store BREV safely?

You can hold BREV in a self-custody wallet that supports the network where your tokens are stored, or leave it with an exchange that lists it. With self-custody, you control the recovery phrase and signing keys; with an exchange, the platform controls custody and withdrawal access.

For a self-custody setup, consider a hardware wallet for signing, keep your recovery phrase offline, and never share it with anyone claiming to offer support. Confirm the network and destination address before sending a small test amount if you are unsure. Keep enough of the network’s native token to cover gas, and verify the token contract rather than trusting a displayed ticker.

If you use an exchange, check which BREV networks it supports for deposits and withdrawals, along with its custody and account-security options. A wallet balance can be unavailable if you lose your keys, while exchange access can be restricted by the platform. Neither option removes the risk of BREV’s price changing sharply.

What risks should you weigh before holding BREV?

BREV carries the usual risks of a volatile crypto asset, alongside risks tied to how Brevis’s services develop. Its intended use depends on demand for proof services, whether provers and users participate, and whether the planned features become available. A token’s stated utility does not ensure that people will use it or that it will retain value.

There are also smart-contract and network risks. A faulty token contract, bridge, wallet integration or network outage could affect transfers or access. If you stake BREV or delegate it, check the applicable lock-up, withdrawal and penalty rules before committing tokens; those terms can affect when you can move your holdings.

BREV’s market value can move quickly, and a smaller circulating supply than maximum supply means future supply changes are worth monitoring. Do not treat staking, governance or planned rollup use as guaranteed returns. Only hold an amount you can afford to lose, and verify network details before signing transactions.

By the numbers

Brevis in numbers

Brevis (BREV) is ranked #884 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $18.0M and a price of $0.0718 as of Nov 8, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation is $71.8M, so roughly 25% of the eventual supply is in circulation today; tokens still to be released could add selling pressure.

The price was down 14.3% over 7 days, down 13.7% over 30 days. It trades about 87% below its all-time high of $0.5601, set on Jan 7, 2026.

About 250M BREV are in circulation out of a maximum supply of 1B (25% issued).

24-hour trading volume was about $2.19M, or 12% of its market cap: high turnover.

BREV has token contracts on 3 chains we track, including Ethereum, BNB Chain, Base. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.

CoinGecko groups BREV under Infrastructure tokens, Zero-knowledge (ZK) tokens.

BREV FAQs

Which networks is BREV on?

BREV has been issued on Ethereum, BNB Chain and Base. Check that your wallet or exchange supports the specific network you plan to use; token balances and transfer routes can differ between them.

What is BREV used for?

BREV is intended for proof fees, prover staking and governance in Brevis’s network. Its use as gas for a planned Brevis rollup is a future use, not something to assume is currently available.

What is BREV’s maximum supply?

As of 2026-11-08, the reported circulating supply was 250 million BREV. The maximum and total supply were 1 billion; token allocations and future releases can affect how much is circulating.

How do I store BREV safely?

Use a wallet that supports the network holding your BREV, and confirm the token contract and network before sending. Keep your recovery phrase offline and never share it; you will also need the network’s native asset to pay gas.

Can you stake BREV?

Staking may require locking tokens or following specific withdrawal and penalty rules, so check the current terms before delegating or staking. Staking does not guarantee a return, and BREV’s market value can fall.

What is the market cap of Brevis?

As of Nov 8, 2026, Brevis had a market cap of about $18.0M, ranking #884 among cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation. Market cap is price multiplied by circulating supply, so it moves with the price.

What is the all-time high of BREV?

Brevis's all-time high is $0.5601, reached on Jan 7, 2026. Its all-time low is $0.0626 (Aug 18, 2026). Past prices say nothing about future returns.

What is the circulating supply of BREV?

As of Nov 8, 2026, about 250M BREV were in circulation, against a maximum supply of 1B.

Which blockchains is BREV on?

It has token contracts on Ethereum, BNB Chain, Base.
