What does LRC actually do?
Loopring is an Ethereum Layer 2 protocol built to support decentralised trading and payments. It uses zkRollup technology: transactions are processed away from Ethereum and then verified using Ethereum, which can reduce the amount of activity that has to be handled directly on the main chain. Loopring has supported both automated market maker (AMM) and order-book exchange models.
LRC is the project’s token, not a share in a company or a claim on exchange revenue. It is associated with Loopring’s economic and governance mechanisms, but the current terms, fees and ways to use those mechanisms are not clearly published. Treat its intended role as different from a guarantee that you can access a particular Loopring service or receive a return.
Which networks and wallets can hold LRC?
LRC has been issued on Ethereum and Arbitrum; it is not listed as the native token of either chain. If you hold it, check which network your wallet or exchange is using before depositing or withdrawing. An address may look similar across networks, but sending tokens on an unsupported network can leave them inaccessible.
You can use a self-custody wallet that supports the relevant network and token standard, or keep LRC with a cryptocurrency exchange that lists it. With a self-custody wallet, you control the recovery phrase and are responsible for securing it. With an exchange, the platform controls the keys and may restrict withdrawals. Confirm the token contract and network using a trusted wallet or exchange interface; do not rely on a token name or ticker alone, since unrelated tokens can use the same label.
How much LRC exists, and how should you read its price?
LRC’s total supply is about 1.374 billion tokens, with a maximum supply of about 1.375 billion. The circulating supply is also about 1.374 billion, so nearly all of the stated maximum is already circulating. Supply figures can change or differ slightly between trackers, so check the token contract and a current market source if the exact count matters to you.
LRC’s market price can move sharply. It was about $0.0074, with a market capitalisation of about $10.2 million, as of 2026-11-08. Those are dated figures, not a valuation or forecast. A small market capitalisation can mean that a modest amount of trading has a larger effect on price, and the price you can actually trade at may differ from a displayed quote because of liquidity and spreads.
What could go wrong when you hold LRC?
Holding LRC exposes you to several distinct risks. Its value can fall substantially, and the token’s usefulness depends in part on whether Loopring services remain accessible and attract activity. The project’s current access, fee arrangements and custody details are not clearly published, so check the terms of the specific app or exchange before moving funds.
There are also technical and operational risks. A wallet mistake, compromised recovery phrase or unsupported network transfer can cause a permanent loss. Smart-contract or bridge failures can affect tokens held through those systems, while an exchange can pause withdrawals or fail. Never share your recovery phrase, use a small test transfer when practical, and verify the network and recipient address before sending. Do not hold more than you can afford to lose, and avoid assuming that protocol descriptions guarantee current performance or availability.

Loopring in numbers
Loopring (LRC) is ranked #1,220 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $10.2M and a price of $0.007439 as of Nov 8, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation ($10.2M) is close to its market cap, so little new supply is still to come.
The price was down 5.5% over 7 days, down 23.1% over 30 days, down 88.8% over the past year. It trades about 100% below its all-time high of $3.75, set on Nov 10, 2021.
About 1.37B LRC are in circulation out of a maximum supply of 1.37B (100% issued).
24-hour trading volume was about $1.99M, or 19% of its market cap: high turnover.
LRC has token contracts on 2 chains we track, including Ethereum, Arbitrum. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.

LRC FAQs
Is LRC an Ethereum token?
LRC is issued on Ethereum and Arbitrum. Check the network selected by your wallet or exchange before sending, and make sure the receiving service supports that network.
What is LRC used for?
LRC is associated with Loopring’s protocol economy and governance, but that does not make it company stock or a claim on profits. Check the terms of any current Loopring service before assuming the token gives you a particular right or benefit.
What is the maximum supply of LRC?
The stated maximum supply is about 1.375 billion LRC, and the circulating supply is about 1.374 billion. These figures can vary slightly across tracking services and over time.
How do I store LRC safely?
You can store LRC in a self-custody wallet that supports its network, or with an exchange that lists it. For self-custody, keep your recovery phrase offline and never share it; for either option, verify the network and token before transferring.
Can I lose money holding LRC?
Yes. Its market price can fall sharply, and you also face wallet, smart-contract, bridge, exchange and network-selection risks. Only hold an amount you can afford to lose.
What is the market cap of Loopring?
As of Nov 8, 2026, Loopring had a market cap of about $10.2M, ranking #1,220 among cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation. Market cap is price multiplied by circulating supply, so it moves with the price.
What is the all-time high of LRC?
Loopring's all-time high is $3.75, reached on Nov 10, 2021. Its all-time low is $0.006853 (Oct 30, 2026). Past prices say nothing about future returns.
