What does TLOS do on Telos?

TLOS is the native token of the Telos blockchain. Telos uses delegated proof-of-stake, and its network supports smart contracts through the Telos EVM, an Ethereum-compatible environment. The project also describes a privacy layer built around zero-knowledge technology.

Those network features do not mean every Telos app or privacy function uses TLOS in the same way. Before you rely on the token for a specific purpose—such as paying a fee, staking, or participating in governance—check the current rules for the Telos network or the app you plan to use. A token’s role can differ between its native network and representations on other chains.

For you as a holder, the key distinction is whether your TLOS is on Telos itself or issued on another network. That affects which wallets, exchanges, apps, and transfer routes can handle it.

Which networks and wallets can hold TLOS?

TLOS is native to Telos. Token versions are also issued on Polygon, BNB Chain, Base, Avalanche, Arbitrum, and Ethereum. These are separate network environments; a balance shown on one chain is not automatically usable on another.

Choose a wallet that supports the specific network and token version you hold. For an EVM-chain version, check that the wallet is connected to the right network and that the token contract address matches the version you intend to receive. For native Telos TLOS, confirm that the wallet supports Telos itself. Do not rely on a token name or ticker alone, since those can be copied.

Before sending a large amount, make a small test transfer and confirm that the recipient can access TLOS on that same network. Exchanges may support only selected networks for deposits and withdrawals, so check the network option on both sides before you transfer.

How much TLOS exists, and is there a supply cap?

As of 2026-11-08, TLOS had about 451.8 million tokens in circulation and about 467.6 million in total supply. A maximum supply is not listed, so you should not assume that the circulating figure is a hard cap.

Supply figures can change as tokens are issued, released, or otherwise reclassified. If you are comparing figures across wallets or services, check the date and whether they refer to circulating, total, or maximum supply; these measures are not interchangeable.

The token’s market price and market value also move over time. A snapshot from one date does not tell you what you could receive later, and a low or high past price is not a reliable guide to future value. Treat any balance shown in a wallet as a quantity of tokens, not a guaranteed cash value.

How can you store TLOS safely, and what can go wrong?

For self-custody, use a wallet that supports the exact TLOS network you hold. Keep your recovery phrase offline and private; anyone who gets it can take control of the wallet. Check the network and destination address carefully, and send a small test amount before moving a larger balance. Transfers to the wrong network or address may be difficult or impossible to reverse.

TLOS on another chain may involve a token contract or a bridge route. A bridge, contract, exchange, or wallet can introduce risks separate from Telos itself, including technical failures, security incidents, or withdrawal restrictions. Confirm the token version before using a bridge or accepting a deposit.

Telos’s privacy and performance features do not remove the usual risks of crypto: token prices can fall, apps can contain vulnerabilities, and wallet access can be lost. Do not treat claims about speed or privacy as a guarantee that every transaction is shielded or every application is safe.

By the numbers

Telos in numbers

Telos (TLOS) is ranked #1,494 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $6.56M and a price of $0.0145 as of Nov 8, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation ($6.79M) is close to its market cap, so little new supply is still to come.

The price was down 8.5% over 7 days, down 17.2% over 30 days, down 54.7% over the past year. It trades about 99% below its all-time high of $1.43, set on Feb 7, 2022.

About 451.81M TLOS are in circulation, from a total supply of 467.56M. No hard maximum supply is listed.

24-hour trading volume was about $312K, or 4.8% of its market cap: moderate turnover.

TLOS is the native token of Telos; it also has token contracts on 6 chains we track, including Polygon, BNB Chain, Base, Avalanche. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.

CoinGecko groups TLOS under Layer 1 tokens, Zero-knowledge (ZK) tokens.

TLOS FAQs

Is TLOS the native token of Telos?

TLOS is the native token of the Telos blockchain. Versions are also issued on Polygon, BNB Chain, Base, Avalanche, Arbitrum, and Ethereum.

What is the circulating supply of TLOS?

About 451.8 million TLOS were in circulation and about 467.6 million were in total supply as of 2026-11-08. A maximum supply is not listed.

How do I store TLOS safely?

Use a wallet that supports the network your TLOS is on, and keep your recovery phrase private and offline. Verify the network and token version before sending; a test transfer can help catch mistakes.

Are TLOS transactions private?

Telos describes a privacy layer using zero-knowledge technology, but that does not mean every TLOS transfer or app activity is private. Check whether the specific feature and application you plan to use support shielded transactions.

What is the market cap of Telos?

As of Nov 8, 2026, Telos had a market cap of about $6.56M, ranking #1,494 among cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation. Market cap is price multiplied by circulating supply, so it moves with the price.

What is the all-time high of TLOS?

Telos's all-time high is $1.43, reached on Feb 7, 2022. Its all-time low is $0.001193 (Dec 4, 2020). Past prices say nothing about future returns.

Which blockchains is TLOS on?

TLOS is the native token of Telos. It has token contracts on Polygon, BNB Chain, Base, Avalanche, Arbitrum, Ethereum.
