## What can you use SENT for?
SENT is intended to be used within Sentient’s GRID, an open network the project is building for AI agents, models, datasets, tools and computing resources. Reported uses include paying to access services powered by these components, making payments between them, and staking on “Artifacts” as a curation signal. Protocol-defined rewards may also apply, but the exact rules and availability depend on the project’s implementation.
Holding SENT does not by itself mean you own part of Sentient, have a claim on its revenue, or can direct its development. The project describes GRID as a community-built alternative to closed AI systems; that is its stated aim, not a guarantee that the network will reach adoption or match those systems. Before treating SENT as a usable payment token, check whether the particular agent or service you want actually accepts it and what terms apply. SentientFund’s Kalshi-based investing insights are also mentioned separately; don’t assume a subscription to that product is paid for with SENT.
## Which chain and wallets support SENT?
SENT is issued on Ethereum and is an ERC-20 token. The token facts do not identify a separate native SENT chain or confirm other networks where official versions are available. A token shown on another chain could be a bridged or unrelated asset, so verify its contract and network through Sentient’s official channels before sending anything.
You can generally hold an Ethereum ERC-20 token in a wallet that supports Ethereum, including a self-custody wallet or an exchange account that supports SENT deposits. If adding the token manually, use the confirmed contract address rather than relying on a matching name or ticker: token symbols can be copied. Check that the wallet is set to Ethereum when receiving or sending the Ethereum version. A transfer sent to an unsupported network or the wrong address may be difficult or impossible to recover. Keep your recovery phrase private; a wallet provider or support agent should not need it.
## How much SENT exists, and what could change its value?
SENT has a maximum and total supply of 34,359,738,368 tokens. Circulating supply is reported as about 7.24 billion, roughly 21% of that total, as of 2026-11-08. The difference matters: tokens that are not circulating may enter circulation later, which can change the balance between available supply and demand. Sentient’s token materials refer to emission budgets for selected network components, but a complete release schedule or allocation breakdown is not specified here.
As of 2026-11-08, SENT was about $0.0176, with a market capitalization around $127.4 million and fully diluted valuation around $604.9 million. Those figures move constantly; they are not a forecast or a measure of future utility. The reported all-time high was about $0.0481 on 2026-01-31, and the all-time low was about $0.0113 on 2026-07-29. Treat past prices as context, not a guide to what comes next.
## How can you get and store SENT?
You can generally obtain a token like SENT through a crypto exchange or a supported on-chain swap, but availability depends on the platform, location and current listings. Check that the asset is the Ethereum ERC-20 SENT associated with Sentient, not another token using the same ticker. Confirm the receiving network before depositing or withdrawing; an exchange may support a token but not accept deposits on every network.
For self-custody, use an Ethereum-compatible wallet and keep the recovery phrase offline in a secure place. Anyone who gets that phrase can usually control the wallet’s assets, and transactions signed with it generally cannot be reversed. With an exchange account, the platform holds the keys and controls withdrawal access, so you take on its custody and account-access risks. This is general handling information, not a recommendation to acquire SENT. Check the platform’s deposit and withdrawal terms before moving tokens.
## What does it cost to move SENT?
Sending Ethereum-based SENT requires an Ethereum transaction, so you generally need ETH in the wallet to pay the network’s gas fee. Gas changes with network demand and transaction complexity; there is no fixed SENT transfer fee. The receiving platform may also impose its own deposit or withdrawal rules or charges, so check those separately before confirming a transfer.
A bridge can add costs and risk. Moving assets may involve a fee on the source chain, a fee on the destination chain, and a bridge charge; the bridge’s security and supported tokens matter too. The token facts do not confirm an official SENT bridge or specify supported destination networks. Don’t send SENT through a bridge just because a third-party service lists the ticker. Verify that Sentient supports the route and that the destination wallet or service can receive the resulting asset. Always review the network, address and final fee in your wallet before signing.
## What risks should you check before holding SENT?
SENT carries the usual risks of a young crypto token: its price can move sharply, and a token’s intended use does not guarantee people will use it. The circulating supply is much smaller than the stated maximum, so future emissions or unlocks could affect supply and market conditions. Sentient is building a network that depends on developers, users and services joining GRID; if adoption or useful applications fall short, demand for the token’s described uses may be limited.
There are also Ethereum transaction, wallet, exchange and smart-contract risks. A wrong address or network can result in lost funds, while a compromised recovery phrase can expose your entire wallet. Don’t assume that any product with “Sentient” in its name is part of the token ecosystem: SentientFund’s investing insights are not described as a SENT payment or benefit. Confirm any claimed token utility, contract and custody arrangements before relying on them. Never treat a project’s goals as a guarantee of performance.
## What is SENT’s history so far?
Sentient describes its GRID as an open network of contributors building AI agents, models, datasets, tools and computing resources. The token launched in January 2026, according to project-related token coverage, and the project’s token use has been described around paying for services and supporting curation of network components. Those functions depend on the project’s actual rollout and should not be confused with a guarantee of access to every GRID service.
The price history so far has been volatile: the reported peak was about $0.0481 on 2026-01-31 and the reported low about $0.0113 on 2026-07-29. As of 2026-11-08, SENT was about $0.0176. These are dated snapshots, not predictions. If you are assessing the token, focus on whether the services you care about are available, how SENT is used in practice, and whether the supply and custody risks fit your situation.
