What does holding GRT let you do?
GRT coordinates work on The Graph, a network that organizes blockchain data so developers can query it through GraphQL. The token is used in the network’s economy: Indexers stake GRT and process data queries, Delegators assign GRT to Indexers, and Curators signal which subgraphs they consider useful. The network’s purpose is to make public blockchain data easier for decentralized applications to access.
For you as a holder, that means GRT has uses beyond simply being a transferable token, but participating in the network involves protocol-specific choices and risks. Delegating may earn rewards, but rewards are not guaranteed and can vary. Holding GRT alone does not give you a claim on The Graph’s business, or ensure that developers will use its services. Check current network rules and the terms for any service you use before staking, delegating, or signaling.
Which chains and wallets support GRT?
GRT is an ERC-20 token associated with Ethereum. It is also issued on Avalanche, Arbitrum, NEAR, Polygon, and Harmony. A token shown under the same ticker on different networks may require a different network setting or transfer route, so confirm the chain and token details before sending. A wallet that supports one version may not automatically display or handle every network version.
You can generally store GRT in a self-custody wallet that supports the relevant chain and token standard, or leave it with a custodial platform that supports GRT. For self-custody, protect your recovery phrase offline and test a small transfer when using an unfamiliar network or address. Never assume that a deposit address or network selected on one service works for another. The Graph’s tokens are not native to the listed chains, so check whether you are handling an Ethereum ERC-20 token or a representation available on another chain.
How much GRT exists, and what can change its supply?
As of 2026-11-08, The Graph had about 10.94 billion GRT in circulation and about 11.61 billion total supply. No maximum supply is listed in the token facts, so do not assume there is a hard cap. The difference between circulating and total supply matters: tokens not yet counted as circulating may become available over time, depending on the project’s token rules and distribution.
GRT supply and demand can move for several reasons, including network participation, rewards, token releases, and broader crypto-market conditions. Staking or delegation can also affect how much GRT is readily available to trade, though it does not remove market risk. These supply figures are a dated snapshot, not a forecast. Check current token and network information before making decisions based on circulating supply, total supply, or reward rates; those figures and rules can change.
How do people get and hold GRT?
People commonly obtain GRT through a crypto exchange or a decentralized exchange that supports it. Availability, payment methods, and withdrawal networks vary by platform and location, so check the ticker, chain, and deposit or withdrawal requirements before transferring funds. This is general information, not a recommendation to buy GRT.
After obtaining tokens, you can keep them with the platform or transfer them to a compatible self-custody wallet. If you want to participate in the network, you may be able to delegate GRT to an Indexer; Curators signal on subgraphs, while running an Indexer involves operating network infrastructure. These activities have different technical and financial risks. Delegation rewards can change, and delegation is not the same as a bank deposit or guaranteed return. Before delegating, review the current rules for choosing an Indexer, undelegating, and any applicable waiting periods or penalties.
What does it cost to move GRT?
Moving GRT can cost more than one fee. An Ethereum transfer generally requires a network gas fee paid in ETH, and fees can rise when the network is busy. Transfers on other supported chains require that chain’s gas token. The exact cost depends on the network, transaction conditions, and the service you use; there is no single fixed GRT transfer fee.
If you move GRT between chains, a bridge or exchange may be involved. Bridges can charge fees, impose limits, or require extra steps, and the destination asset may be a bridged representation rather than the same Ethereum token. Check the sending and receiving networks carefully before confirming. Exchange withdrawals may have separate fees or minimums set by the exchange. Always compare the total cost and verify that the receiving wallet or platform supports GRT on the exact network you selected.
What could go wrong with GRT?
GRT carries ordinary crypto-market risk: its price can fall sharply, and demand may change with broader markets or interest in The Graph’s services. The network also depends on developers and applications continuing to use indexed data. A useful protocol does not guarantee token demand or a return from holding the token.
Network participation adds other risks. Delegation rewards can vary, and Indexer behavior or protocol penalties may affect delegated positions. Signaling on a subgraph can expose Curators to financial loss if their choices do not perform as expected. Smart-contract, wallet, exchange, and bridge failures can also result in lost or inaccessible tokens. Check current protocol rules and security information before interacting with contracts, and be cautious of unofficial token listings, lookalike assets, and requests for your recovery phrase. Transfers sent to the wrong network or address may be difficult or impossible to recover.
What is GRT’s history, and how volatile has it been?
The Graph’s exact launch date is not included in the token facts here, so this guide does not assign one. The project is described as an indexing protocol that provides developers with GraphQL access to organized blockchain data. GRT is its network token for coordinating Indexers, Delegators, and Curators.
The token’s recorded all-time high was about $2.84 on 2021-02-11. Its recorded all-time low was about $0.013 on 2026-08-18. These are historical observations, not targets or indications of future performance. As of 2026-11-08, GRT’s market capitalization was about $205.5 million, another figure that can change quickly. If you compare historical or market data, make sure the date and token network match; figures from different dates or different token representations may not be comparable.

The Graph in numbers
The Graph (GRT) is ranked #156 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $206M and a price of $0.0188 as of Nov 8, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation is $218M, so roughly 94% of the eventual supply is in circulation today; tokens still to be released could add selling pressure.
The price was down 7.6% over 7 days, down 28.6% over 30 days, down 72.8% over the past year. It trades about 99% below its all-time high of $2.84, set on Feb 11, 2021.
About 10.94B GRT are in circulation, from a total supply of 11.61B. No hard maximum supply is listed.
24-hour trading volume was about $4.50M, or 2.2% of its market cap: moderate turnover.
GRT has token contracts on 6 chains we track, including Ethereum, Avalanche, Arbitrum, Near. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.

GRT FAQs
What blockchain is GRT on?
GRT is an ERC-20 token associated with Ethereum and is also issued on Avalanche, Arbitrum, NEAR, Polygon, and Harmony. Confirm the network and token details before receiving or sending it.
How do I store GRT?
GRT can be held in a compatible self-custody wallet or on a custodial platform that supports it. With self-custody, protect your recovery phrase and use a wallet that supports the specific network holding your tokens.
Can you earn rewards by delegating GRT?
Delegators assign GRT to Indexers, who process network queries. Delegation may earn rewards, but rewards can vary and the position is exposed to protocol and market risks.
What fees apply when transferring GRT?
There is no single fixed transfer cost. Ethereum transfers use ETH for gas, while transfers on other chains require that chain’s gas token; exchange and bridge fees may also apply.
What is GRT’s total supply?
As of 2026-11-08, circulating supply was about 10.94 billion GRT and total supply was about 11.61 billion. No maximum supply is listed in the token facts, and supply figures can change.
What is the market cap of The Graph?
As of Nov 8, 2026, The Graph had a market cap of about $206M, ranking #156 among cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation. Market cap is price multiplied by circulating supply, so it moves with the price.
What is the all-time high of GRT?
The Graph's all-time high is $2.84, reached on Feb 11, 2021. Its all-time low is $0.0130 (Aug 18, 2026). Past prices say nothing about future returns.
What is the circulating supply of GRT?
As of Nov 8, 2026, about 10.94B GRT were in circulation; no fixed maximum supply is listed.
Which blockchains is GRT on?
It has token contracts on Ethereum, Avalanche, Arbitrum, Near, Polygon, Harmony.
