What can holding IO do?
IO is the token associated with io.net, a decentralized computing network that aims to provide GPU capacity for machine-learning and AI workloads. Holding IO may matter if you use the network or take part in its token-related features; simply owning it does not give you computing power automatically.
IO is described as serving ecosystem payments and transactions, including rewards for workers who provide computing resources. Staking and governance are also cited as intended uses. Before relying on any of these, check the current network rules: whether a feature is active, who can use it, and what lockups or conditions apply can change. The token’s use cases do not guarantee demand or a particular value. If you hold IO only in an exchange account, you may not be able to use network features that require an on-chain wallet.
Which wallets and chains support IO?
IO is issued on Solana; it is not listed as the native token of a blockchain. That means you need to select the Solana version when sending or receiving IO. A wallet or exchange may show the token under its name or ticker, but check the network and token details rather than relying on “IO” alone.
For self-custody, use a wallet that supports Solana tokens and keep your recovery phrase offline. A hardware wallet can add protection if it supports the relevant Solana token and you know how to restore it. Exchange custody is simpler for some users, but the exchange controls the keys and may pause deposits or withdrawals. If a service offers IO on another network, treat that as a separate representation: confirm the network, deposit address and any bridge or redemption process before sending. A transfer to an incompatible address or network can be difficult or impossible to recover.
How much IO exists, and what can change its value?
As of 2026-11-08, IO had about 426.1 million tokens circulating, about 797.1 million total, and a stated maximum supply of 800 million. The gap between circulating and maximum supply is relevant: future changes in circulating supply can affect each token’s share of the total, though supply figures alone do not show when or how tokens will enter circulation.
On that date, IO was priced at about $0.117, with a market capitalization of about $49.9 million and a fully diluted valuation of about $93.4 million. These are snapshots, not stable measures. Its reported all-time high was $6.43 on 2024-06-12, and its all-time low was about $0.093 on 2026-02-05. Past prices do not indicate what IO will be worth next. If supply changes matter to your decision, check the current token release information and circulating-supply figures rather than assuming the maximum is already in circulation.
How do people get and store IO?
People generally obtain IO through a crypto exchange that lists the token, or receive it from another holder. Availability, trading pairs, identity checks and withdrawal support depend on the service and your location. This is general information, not a recommendation to buy or trade IO.
You can keep IO on an exchange or withdraw it to a Solana-compatible wallet. Exchange storage means the provider controls the private keys and may set withdrawal limits or suspend access. With a personal wallet, you control the keys, but you are responsible for backing up the recovery phrase and protecting it from theft, loss and phishing. Before transferring, make a small test transfer if appropriate, and confirm that the recipient supports IO on Solana. Never share a recovery phrase or approve an unfamiliar wallet request just to receive tokens.
What does it cost to move IO?
An IO transfer on Solana generally requires a network fee paid in SOL, not IO. Solana transaction fees can vary with network conditions, and a wallet may also need SOL to create or use a token account. Check the wallet’s fee estimate and SOL balance before sending; the final cost is not set by IO’s token supply.
If you withdraw from an exchange, the exchange may charge its own withdrawal fee or set a minimum, separate from the Solana network fee. Transfers involving another network can add bridge fees, transaction fees on both chains and exchange-rate or liquidity costs. Do not assume a bridge is available or that bridged IO is interchangeable without conditions. Confirm the supported route and destination network first. A wrong-network transfer, failed bridge transaction or insufficient SOL can delay access or put funds at risk.
What risks should IO holders check?
IO carries both token and project risks. Its value can move sharply, and the network’s ability to attract GPU providers and computing customers may not translate into sustained token use. A decentralized computing service also depends on practical factors such as resource availability, workload performance and reliable operations. A shortfall in any of these can affect users’ confidence and demand.
The maximum supply is 800 million, while the circulating figure is lower; changes in distribution can alter the supply available to the market. Staking, if offered to you, can add lockup, validator or smart-contract risks, and rewards are not guaranteed. Self-custody adds the risk of losing keys, while exchange custody adds provider and account-access risks. Check current token rules, network status and wallet support before committing funds. Do not treat past price movements or stated use cases as proof of future performance.
By the numbers
io.net in numbers
io.net (IO) is ranked #438 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $49.9M and a price of $0.1172 as of Nov 8, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation is $93.4M, so roughly 53% of the eventual supply is in circulation today; tokens still to be released could add selling pressure.
The price was down 12.0% over 7 days, down 21.4% over 30 days, down 64.0% over the past year. It trades about 98% below its all-time high of $6.43, set on Jun 12, 2024.
About 426.13M IO are in circulation out of a maximum supply of 800M (53% issued).
24-hour trading volume was about $4.25M, or 8.5% of its market cap: high turnover.
IO has token contracts on Solana. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.

IO FAQs
What is IO coin?
IO is issued on Solana and is associated with io.net’s decentralized computing network. It is not listed as the native token of a blockchain.
Which network is IO on?
IO is issued on Solana, so use a wallet that supports Solana tokens and verify the network before sending. Some exchanges may custody IO for you, but that means they control the private keys.
What is IO used for?
IO is described as having ecosystem payment and transaction uses, including worker rewards; staking and governance are also cited use cases. Check current network rules to confirm which features are active and what conditions apply.
Do you need SOL to transfer IO?
A Solana transfer generally requires a fee paid in SOL, and an exchange may add a separate withdrawal fee. Cross-network transfers can involve extra fees and risks, so verify the route and destination before proceeding.
How many IO tokens are there?
As of 2026-11-08, about 426.1 million IO were circulating, against a maximum supply of 800 million. Supply and market figures change, so check current figures before relying on them.
What is the market cap of io.net?
As of Nov 8, 2026, io.net had a market cap of about $49.9M, ranking #438 among cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation. Market cap is price multiplied by circulating supply, so it moves with the price.
What is the all-time high of IO?
io.net's all-time high is $6.43, reached on Jun 12, 2024. Its all-time low is $0.0930 (Feb 5, 2026). Past prices say nothing about future returns.
What is the circulating supply of IO?
As of Nov 8, 2026, about 426.13M IO were in circulation, against a maximum supply of 800M.
Which blockchains is IO on?
It has token contracts on Solana.
