Owning SFI: Uses, Networks and Risks
SFI is linked to Saffron Finance’s DeFi vaults, but holding the token is not the same as earning vault yield. Check the network, token role and smart-contract risks before you store or transfer it.

What does holding SFI actually give you?
SFI is the token associated with Saffron Finance, a DeFi protocol that divides Uniswap position fees into fixed and variable yield. In a Saffron vault, fixed-yield buyers receive their yield upfront; variable-yield buyers receive future yield from the deposited Uniswap position. Those vaults are separate from simply holding SFI: owning the token does not, by itself, mean you have deposited funds in a vault or will receive its yield.
SFI has been associated with governance voting and rewards. Sharing protocol fees has been described as a possible future use, not a guaranteed current payment. Check the token’s current role and any voting or reward terms before relying on them. If you are considering SFI, treat its value as exposure to a crypto token, not as a claim on a fixed return from the vaults.
Which networks and wallets can you use for SFI?
SFI has been issued on Ethereum, Polygon, Robinhood Chain and Arbitrum. These are separate networks, even though they are EVM-compatible. A wallet or exchange deposit address on one network may not accept the same token sent on another, so check the selected network at both ends before transferring.
For self-custody, use a wallet that explicitly supports the network and SFI token you hold. Confirm the token contract using a trusted Saffron channel before adding it to a wallet; a matching name or symbol alone does not prove a token is genuine. Keep enough of the network’s native asset to pay transaction fees. If you move SFI between networks, check whether you are using an official, supported route: bridges add separate smart-contract and operational risks. The project’s vault contracts are described as living on EVM chains, but that does not mean every vault or token function is available on every network.
How much SFI exists, and how should you read its market figures?
SFI has a maximum supply of 100,000 tokens. About 80,134 were circulating out of a total supply of 100,000 as of 2026-11-08. The remaining difference between circulating and maximum supply is not automatically a promise that tokens will be released on a particular schedule; check project disclosures for any distribution or unlock details before making assumptions.
As of 2026-11-08, SFI was about $90.15, with a market capitalization of about $7.2 million and fully diluted valuation of about $9.0 million. These figures can change quickly and do not indicate what the token will be worth later. A relatively small market can also mean limited liquidity: a large order may move the price, and the price you receive may differ from a displayed quote. Use current figures when assessing a transaction, and do not treat past highs or lows as a price target.
How can you store SFI, and what could go wrong?
For longer-term storage, keep SFI in a wallet where you control the recovery phrase, or use a reputable custodian if you prefer not to manage keys yourself. Never share a recovery phrase or enter it into a site or message claiming to offer support. Store a backup offline, and test your wallet setup with a small transfer before moving a larger amount. Check the network and token contract carefully each time.
SFI carries token-price and liquidity risk. Saffron vaults add DeFi risks: smart-contract bugs, loss of access to deposited assets, and changes in Uniswap fee income. Variable yield depends on future fees and is not guaranteed; receiving fixed yield upfront does not remove the possibility of loss. Vault contracts are described as immutable and non-upgradable, which may prevent later fixes if a problem is found. A contract audit, if one exists, would not guarantee safety. Do not deposit funds you cannot afford to lose.
By the numbers
saffron.finance in numbers
saffron.finance (SFI) is ranked #1,435 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $7.22M and a price of $90.15 as of Nov 8, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation is $9.01M, so roughly 80% of the eventual supply is in circulation today; tokens still to be released could add selling pressure.
The price was down 9.7% over 7 days, down 17.4% over 30 days, down 74.1% over the past year. It trades about 97% below its all-time high of $3,496, set on Feb 19, 2021.
About 80.13K SFI are in circulation out of a maximum supply of 100K (80% issued).
24-hour trading volume was about $47.2K, or 0.7% of its market cap: low turnover, so large orders can move the price.
SFI has token contracts on 4 chains we track, including Ethereum, Polygon, Robinhood Chain, Arbitrum. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.

SFI FAQs
What is SFI used for?
SFI is associated with Saffron Finance, whose vaults divide Uniswap position fees into fixed and variable yield. Holding SFI alone does not make you a vault depositor or entitle you to vault income.
Which networks support SFI?
SFI has been issued on Ethereum, Polygon, Robinhood Chain and Arbitrum. Confirm the network and token contract before sending or receiving it, because transactions on the wrong network can result in lost funds.
What is the maximum supply of SFI?
The maximum supply is 100,000 SFI, with about 80,134 circulating as of 2026-11-08. Supply figures and market prices can change, so check current figures before acting.
How do you store SFI safely?
You can use a self-custody wallet that supports SFI on the network where your tokens are held, or a custodian that supports deposits and withdrawals on that network. Verify the token contract and protect your recovery phrase.
Does holding SFI guarantee yield?
No. Variable yield depends on future Uniswap fees and can change; it is not a guaranteed return. DeFi vaults also carry smart-contract, liquidity and asset-loss risks.
What is the market cap of saffron.finance?
As of Nov 8, 2026, saffron.finance had a market cap of about $7.22M, ranking #1,435 among cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation. Market cap is price multiplied by circulating supply, so it moves with the price.
What is the all-time high of SFI?
saffron.finance's all-time high is $3,496, reached on Feb 19, 2021. Its all-time low is $5.55 (Feb 19, 2025). Past prices say nothing about future returns.
What is the circulating supply of SFI?
As of Nov 8, 2026, about 80.13K SFI were in circulation, against a maximum supply of 100K.
Which blockchains is SFI on?
It has token contracts on Ethereum, Polygon, Robinhood Chain, Arbitrum.
