## What does holding BADGER let you do?

BADGER is the governance token for BadgerDAO, a project focused on bringing Bitcoin into Ethereum-based decentralized finance. The project describes its aim as building DeFi products around Bitcoin as a reserve asset. BADGER is associated with governance and rewards in the ecosystem; holding it does not mean you own Bitcoin or have a claim on BadgerDAO’s assets.

If you hold BADGER to take part in governance, check whether proposals are active and what voting power a token gives you before relying on it. If you are considering it for yield, separate the token from the products that may use it: owning BADGER alone does not generate a return. BadgerDAO’s legacy vaults no longer have front-end access, so do not assume older instructions for depositing or withdrawing still apply.

## Which networks can you use for BADGER?

BADGER has been issued on Ethereum, Harmony, Fantom, Arbitrum and xDai. It is not the native coin of any of these networks. The same token name can appear on several chains, so a wallet balance is not enough to confirm that you have the right asset or network for a particular use.

Before sending BADGER, check the receiving service’s supported network and confirm the token contract through BadgerDAO’s official channels. Use a wallet that supports the relevant network and token standard; an Ethereum-compatible wallet may support multiple listed networks, but you may need to add or select the correct network. Sending tokens on an unsupported chain can make them difficult or impossible to recover. Keep a small amount of the network’s native coin available if you need it to pay transaction fees.

## How much BADGER is in circulation?

BADGER has a maximum supply of 21 million tokens. About 19.5 million were circulating as of November 8, 2026, with total supply at 21 million. Circulating supply can change, so treat these figures as a dated snapshot rather than a guarantee of how many tokens are currently available to trade.

The token’s price and market activity can also change quickly. As of November 8, 2026, BADGER was about $0.29, and reported 24-hour trading volume was about $158. That low volume can make it harder to trade at a price close to the displayed quote, especially for larger orders. Check current trading conditions and the network you are using before acting; neither a fixed supply cap nor a past price level tells you what BADGER will be worth later.

## Can you still use Badger’s legacy vaults?

BadgerDAO still presents its Bitcoin-focused DAO and BADGER token, but its legacy vaults no longer have front-end access. That matters if you are holding an old vault position or following an outdated guide: you may not be able to manage it through the familiar website interface. Do not deposit into a vault or follow old withdrawal steps based only on past instructions.

Before interacting with any Badger-related contract, check current official DAO communications for the specific product and contract address. Confirm whether the product is active, which network it uses, and whether there is a supported way to manage your position. A functioning token does not mean every associated DeFi product is currently usable. If you cannot verify the contract or understand the transaction prompt, pause rather than signing it.

## How should you store BADGER, and what can go wrong?

You can store BADGER in a wallet that supports the network on which your tokens are held. A hardware wallet can keep signing keys offline, while a software wallet may be more convenient for governance or on-chain activity. Whichever you choose, protect your recovery phrase offline, never share it, and verify the network and recipient address before sending tokens.

The main risks are price swings, thin trading activity, and mistakes when using one of BADGER’s several supported networks. DeFi activity also carries smart-contract and approval risks: a malicious or compromised contract could put tokens at risk, and an approval can allow a contract to move tokens. Legacy vaults without front-end access add practical uncertainty for anyone with an old position. Check every transaction, avoid unsolicited links and token claims, and do not treat BADGER or a vault as a guaranteed source of returns.

By the numbers

Badger in numbers

Badger (BADGER) is ranked #1,590 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $5.64M and a price of $0.2889 as of Nov 8, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation is $6.07M, so roughly 93% of the eventual supply is in circulation today; tokens still to be released could add selling pressure.

The price was down 1.6% over 7 days, down 10.2% over 30 days, down 59.4% over the past year. It trades about 100% below its all-time high of $89.08, set on Feb 8, 2021.

About 19.51M BADGER are in circulation out of a maximum supply of 21M (93% issued).

24-hour trading volume was about $158, or 0.0% of its market cap: low turnover, so large orders can move the price.

BADGER has token contracts on 5 chains we track, including Ethereum, Harmony, Fantom, Arbitrum. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.

BADGER is linked to Badger DAO, which we cover in our Yield Aggregator rankings. See our Badger DAO page for how the protocol works and how we score it.
