What does holding REUSD get you?
REUSD is a yield-bearing deposit token tied to Re Protocol’s reinsurance activity. The protocol describes reUSD as its principal-protected option, with a fixed yield framed as a reference rate plus 250 basis points. That describes the product’s design, not a guarantee that you can always redeem one token for a dollar or recover your deposit under every condition.
Re Protocol says deposits support exposure to insurance contracts through underwriting pools. Your potential return therefore depends on how the product operates, the contracts and counterparties involved, and the terms for deposits and withdrawals. This is different from holding cash or a conventional bank deposit, and REUSD is not the same as Re Protocol’s separate reUSDe token, which is described as risk-bearing and variable-yield.
Before holding REUSD, check its redemption terms, how yield is calculated, and what happens if underwriting losses or liquidity pressures affect the protocol. The stated fixed-yield design should not be read as a promise of a specific dollar return.
Which chains and wallets can hold REUSD?
REUSD is issued across Ethereum, Base, Ink, Solana, Avalanche, BNB Chain and Arbitrum. Re Protocol is also described as built on Ethereum, Avalanche, Arbitrum and Base, so its product description does not list every chain where the token is issued. Check the network and token contract carefully before receiving or sending it.
You can generally store a token in a wallet that supports the chain on which your REUSD is held. A wallet may support one of these networks but not another, and seeing a token symbol in a wallet does not by itself confirm that the asset is genuine. Verify the contract address through Re Protocol’s official channels and make sure the receiving wallet supports that exact network.
Because REUSD exists on multiple chains, do not assume balances on different networks are interchangeable. Moving it between chains may require a bridge or an official cross-chain route. Using the wrong network, an unverified token contract or an unsupported bridge can result in lost funds.
How much REUSD exists, and what affects it?
As of 2026-11-08, REUSD’s reported circulating and total supply were both about 339.6 million tokens. A maximum supply has not been published. These figures can change as tokens are issued, redeemed or otherwise moved, so treat them as a dated snapshot rather than a fixed limit.
The stated purpose of REUSD is to represent a deposit in Re Protocol’s reinsurance product. That means supply may be connected to deposits and redemptions, but the exact minting and burning rules—and how they relate to collateral—should be checked in the protocol’s current documentation. Do not infer that every token is backed by a dollar held in a bank.
REUSD was trading at about $1.11 on the same date, with a reported market capitalization of about $377 million. A market price above or below a dollar can reflect trading conditions and liquidity; it does not establish what you will receive if you redeem. The token’s reported all-time high was $1.11 on 2026-11-05, while its low was about $0.87 on 2025-07-17.
How do you get and store REUSD?
People generally obtain a multi-chain token through a supported crypto exchange, a decentralized exchange, or the protocol’s own deposit or redemption process, if available to them. Which routes support REUSD can vary by chain and over time. Check that the asset is the Re Protocol token, not another token with a similar name or ticker, and review the current deposit, withdrawal and redemption conditions before sending funds.
For storage, use a wallet that supports the specific network and keep your recovery phrase offline and private. Never share it with someone claiming to provide support. If you use a hardware wallet, confirm that it supports the relevant chain and token interaction before transferring REUSD.
A token balance in a wallet does not necessarily mean you can redeem immediately at a set price. Redemption windows, minimums, fees and eligibility can affect access. Re Protocol’s current terms should answer these points; if they do not, treat the uncertainty as a risk rather than assuming you can exit whenever you want.
What can REUSD transfers and bridges cost?
A transfer usually costs the network’s transaction fee, paid in that chain’s native gas token—not necessarily in REUSD. Fees can change with network demand, and the amount depends on the chain and transaction. Check the wallet’s estimate before confirming; an incorrect or incomplete transaction may still consume a fee.
Moving REUSD between networks may add bridge fees, a separate network fee on each side, and possible waiting time. Bridging also introduces smart-contract and operational risks. Use only a route that Re Protocol currently supports, verify the destination chain and token contract, and do not assume a bridge transfer is reversible.
If you are depositing into or redeeming from Re Protocol, those actions may have different costs and conditions from an ordinary wallet transfer. Fees and redemption terms are not specified here, so check the current protocol interface and documentation before committing funds. For a small transfer, network and bridge costs can take a meaningful share of the amount.
What could go wrong when you hold REUSD?
REUSD carries risks beyond ordinary stablecoin price movement. Its value and redemption depend on Re Protocol’s contracts, liquidity, operating arrangements and the reinsurance activity that supports its product. Insurance losses, disputes, delays in claims or a shortage of liquidity could affect returns or access to funds. The term “principal-protected” is a product description, not proof of an unconditional guarantee.
There are also smart-contract, bridge, custody and chain risks. A token can trade away from its intended value, and a wallet transfer to the wrong network or contract may be difficult or impossible to recover. Multichain availability gives you more routes but also makes it important to verify which version you hold.
As of 2026-11-08, the reported price was about $1.11, but that figure can change and does not promise a future price or redemption amount. Read the current product and redemption terms, consider whether you can tolerate delayed access or loss, and avoid relying on REUSD as emergency cash.
By the numbers
Re Protocol reUSD in numbers
Re Protocol reUSD (REUSD) is ranked #118 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $377M and a price of $1.11 as of Nov 8, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation ($377M) is close to its market cap, so little new supply is still to come.
The price was up 0.2% over 7 days, up 0.4% over 30 days, up 6.9% over the past year. It is trading at or near its all-time high of $1.11.
About 339.58M REUSD are in circulation. No hard maximum supply is listed, so new tokens can still be issued.
24-hour trading volume was about $1.18M, or 0.3% of its market cap: low turnover, so large orders can move the price.
REUSD has token contracts on 7 chains we track, including Ethereum, Base, Ink, Solana. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.

REUSD FAQs
Is REUSD a stablecoin?
REUSD is described as a principal-protected deposit token with a fixed yield linked to a reference rate plus 250 basis points. That description is not the same as a guarantee of dollar value or immediate redemption; check the current product terms.
Which networks support REUSD?
REUSD is issued on Ethereum, Base, Ink, Solana, Avalanche, BNB Chain and Arbitrum. Use a wallet that supports the specific network, and verify the token contract before receiving or sending it.
