What does holding EURCV let you do?

EURCV is a euro-denominated stablecoin issued by Société Générale-FORGE. Holding it can give you a way to represent euros on supported blockchains and use them for on-chain transfers or settlement. It is also listed as a lending and borrowing asset on Aave’s Ethereum market, though availability and terms can change.

EURCV is aimed mainly at institutional uses such as corporate cash management and transactions involving tokenized assets. That does not mean every holder can redeem tokens directly with the issuer: retail access and redemption conditions depend on the issuer’s rules and the service you use.

EURCV is designed to track the euro, not the US dollar. Its USD price therefore also moves with the EUR/USD exchange rate. As of 2026-11-08, it was about $1.11, with a circulating supply of about 173.6 million tokens. Those figures are snapshots, not a promise of value or redemption.

Which networks and wallets support EURCV?

EURCV is issued on Ethereum, the XRP Ledger (XRPL), Stellar and Solana. It is not the native coin of any of these networks; it is a token that uses each network’s infrastructure. The same ticker on different chains does not make the tokens interchangeable without a supported transfer or bridge.

Before receiving or sending EURCV, check that your wallet and the sending service support the specific network you intend to use. Confirm the network shown on both sides of a transfer, and make sure you have the network’s native asset available if the wallet requires it for transaction fees. A wallet that supports EURCV on Ethereum may not support its Solana or Stellar version.

You can keep supported tokens in a compatible self-custody wallet or with a custodial exchange or service. With self-custody, you control the keys and are responsible for protecting them. With a custodian, access and withdrawals depend on that provider’s rules.

How much EURCV exists, and what changes its supply?

EURCV’s reported circulating and total supply were both about 173.6 million as of 2026-11-08. No maximum supply is reported. Supply can change over time; the figures are not a fixed limit or an estimate of future demand.

For fiat-backed stablecoins, tokens are generally issued when eligible currency is received and removed from circulation when tokens are redeemed. That common model does not by itself confirm EURCV’s exact issuance, reserve or redemption process. EURCV’s reserve composition and the conditions for direct redemption are not specified in its project details, so check the issuer’s current terms before relying on a one-for-one redemption.

The USD price is not the same as a euro peg: it reflects both EURCV’s market price and the euro’s value against the dollar. As of 2026-11-08, reported market capitalization and fully diluted valuation were each about $193.4 million. Market prices and supply can change, and an exchange price does not guarantee that you can redeem at that value.

How can you get and store EURCV?

You may receive EURCV through a supported exchange, wallet service, business payment provider or eligible issuer channel. Access can differ by country and customer type. The fact that a token is visible in a wallet or listed on a platform does not mean that platform offers direct redemption with Société Générale-FORGE.

To store it, choose a service that supports EURCV on the exact chain you plan to use. For self-custody, protect your recovery phrase offline and check the receiving address and network before transferring. For custodial storage, review withdrawal access, account restrictions and what happens if the provider suspends service.

EURCV is described as designed for compliance with the EU’s MiCA framework. That description is not a substitute for checking current legal status, issuer terms or whether you can use the product where you live. If you need to convert back to euros, verify the available route, minimums and fees before sending tokens. Do not assume that holding EURCV creates a bank deposit or deposit-guarantee protection.

What can it cost to send EURCV?

A transfer can involve the blockchain’s transaction fee, often called gas or a network fee. The amount depends on the network, congestion and transaction type; Ethereum fees can differ substantially from fees on Stellar, Solana or XRPL. EURCV’s own project details do not publish a single transfer fee that applies across all four networks.

A service may also charge a withdrawal, deposit, conversion or redemption fee. If you move EURCV between chains through a bridge or another cross-chain service, there may be an additional service charge and exchange-rate or liquidity cost. Bridging also adds smart-contract and operational risk; a transfer can be delayed or fail, and support for the token may differ by route.

Before confirming, check the destination network, the amount you will receive after fees, and whether the destination wallet recognizes EURCV on that chain. A low network fee does not make an unsupported network transfer safe. If you are unsure, check the service’s current fee schedule and transfer instructions first.

What could go wrong if you hold EURCV?

EURCV’s main risks are issuer, reserve, redemption and market risks. A euro peg is a target, not a guarantee: the token can trade below or above one euro, and access to redemption may be limited by eligibility or service terms. The project details do not specify the reserve composition or independent audit schedule, so you should not assume the token has the same protections as cash in a bank account.

There are also blockchain risks. A wrong-network transfer, compromised wallet, smart-contract flaw, bridge failure or service outage can make tokens inaccessible or cause a loss. Custodial platforms add their own account and withdrawal risks.

EURCV was integrated with Fipto in 2024, followed by a Stellar integration announcement in 2025; later 2026 mentions describe lending and settlement uses. Its exact initial issuance date is not specified. These integrations show activity, but they do not guarantee continued support, liquidity or redemption. Check current issuer terms and the specific platform before relying on EURCV for payments or cash management.
