What can you use AUSD for?
AUSD is a dollar-pegged stablecoin intended for trading, lending and payments. Holding it can give you a crypto-denominated balance designed to track the US dollar, which may be useful for moving value between supported services without converting back to bank money each time. You may also find AUSD trading pairs or lending markets on networks and platforms that support it.
AUSD is not a bank deposit, and a dollar peg is not a guarantee that you can always exchange one token for one dollar. The token’s price was about $1 as of 2026-11-08, but it has traded above and below that level. Check whether the platform you use supports AUSD deposits and withdrawals on the same network as your wallet. Also check the platform’s redemption terms: AUSD is described as minted 1:1 with USD, but who can mint or redeem it, and on what terms, are not published here.
Which chains and wallets support AUSD?
AUSD is issued on Ethereum, Sui, Core, Mantle, Base, Katana, Plume Mainnet, Solana, Polygon, Arbitrum, Fraxtal, Immutablex, BNB Chain, Injective, Avalanche and Monad. It is not listed as the native token of any of these networks; it is a token deployed on them. The same ticker on different chains can refer to different token contracts, so check the network and contract address before sending or receiving it.
You can hold AUSD in a wallet that supports the relevant network and token standard. A wallet that supports AUSD on Ethereum may not support AUSD on Solana, for example. Confirm that both the wallet and the service sending your tokens support the same chain. If you use a hardware wallet, check network and token compatibility before transferring. AUSD’s issuer does not publish a single wallet recommendation, so use the wallet’s official token and network details rather than relying on a ticker search alone.
How much AUSD is there, and can supply change?
AUSD’s circulating and total supply were both about 156.3 million tokens as of 2026-11-08. No maximum supply is published. Its supply can change as tokens are issued or removed from circulation; the stated model is that AUSD is minted 1:1 with US dollars. That does not mean the supply is fixed, or that every holder can directly mint or redeem tokens.
The reported market price was about $0.999 as of 2026-11-08, with a market capitalization of about $156.2 million. Those are snapshots, not guarantees of future value or liquidity. The token’s recorded high was about $1.022 on 2024-10-05 and its low about $0.951 on 2024-12-05. Even a small deviation from a dollar can matter if you need to convert a large amount, or if trading liquidity is thin on the venue you use. Check the live price and available liquidity when making a transaction.
How do you get and store AUSD safely?
People generally obtain stablecoins through a supported exchange, decentralized trading venue or transfer from another holder. Which routes list AUSD depends on your country, platform and chosen network. Check that deposits and withdrawals are enabled for AUSD on that exact chain; a platform may support the token on one network but not another.
For self-custody, use a wallet compatible with the network where your AUSD is held, and keep your recovery phrase offline and private. Confirm the token contract and network before receiving funds, especially if a wallet displays several tokens with the same ticker. Sending to an unsupported network or address can make recovery difficult or impossible. AUSD is described as minted 1:1 with USD, but the issuer’s public minting and redemption eligibility, minimums and processing terms are not specified. Do not assume that holding AUSD gives you direct access to issuer redemption.
What does it cost to move AUSD between networks?
AUSD transfers require the network’s transaction fee, usually paid in that network’s own gas token. The amount depends on network congestion, transaction type and wallet settings; it is not a fixed AUSD fee. The project describes AUSD’s smart contract as gas-optimized, but that does not remove network fees or guarantee a cheaper transfer in every situation.
Moving AUSD between chains may require a bridge or a service that handles cross-chain transfers. Such services can charge their own fees, and the destination token may be a bridged representation rather than the issuer’s direct issuance on that chain. Bridge transfers also add contract, liquidity and operational risks. Before confirming, check the source and destination networks, the amount you will receive, the service’s fee and whether the destination platform accepts that version of AUSD. A test transfer can help you catch a network or address mistake, though it also incurs fees.
What backing and risks should you check?
AUSD is described as backed by cash, US Treasury bills and other secure assets, with a 1:1 dollar minting model. The project also describes using a large custodian bank and a Big Four auditor, but does not name them in the published description here or provide specific reserve figures, audit reports or redemption terms. Those gaps make it harder for you to independently assess reserve quality and how quickly you could redeem tokens.
Other risks include the peg slipping, trading venues losing liquidity, a smart-contract bug, a compromised wallet, or an exchange or bridge failing. AUSD is deployed across many chains, so a token contract or transfer route on one network may carry different risks from another. Check for current reserve attestations and contract audits before relying on the token, and avoid keeping more on an exchange than you need for its services. Stablecoins can lose value; they are not insured bank balances.
What is known about AUSD’s history?
Agora’s AUSD was introduced on Injective in an announcement dated 2024-10-31, describing it as the network’s first native stablecoin at that time. The current chain list is broader: AUSD is now issued across 16 listed networks, including Ethereum, Solana, Base, BNB Chain and Monad. An expansion of supported chains can make the token usable in more places, but it also means you need to be more careful about selecting the right network and token contract.
AUSD’s recorded price range shows that its peg has not been exact at all times: it reached about $1.022 on 2024-10-05 and about $0.951 on 2024-12-05. As of 2026-11-08, it was trading at about $0.999. These past figures do not show what the price will do next. The project’s precise launch date, along with a full timeline of changes to its reserves and contracts, is not published.

AUSD in numbers
AUSD (AUSD) is ranked #195 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $156M and a price of $0.9989 as of Nov 8, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation ($156M) is close to its market cap, so little new supply is still to come.
The price was down 0.1% over 7 days, down 0.0% over 30 days, down 0.1% over the past year. It trades about 2% below its all-time high of $1.02, set on Oct 5, 2024.
About 156.33M AUSD are in circulation. No hard maximum supply is listed, so new tokens can still be issued.
24-hour trading volume was about $1.98M, or 1.3% of its market cap: low turnover, so large orders can move the price.
AUSD has token contracts on 16 chains we track, including Ethereum, Sui, Core, Mantle. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.
