## What does holding apxUSD actually get you?
apxUSD is designed to track the US dollar and provide a synthetic-dollar balance for use across decentralised and centralised finance. Holding it does not, by itself, earn the dividend yield Apyx describes: the protocol’s separate apyUSD vault is intended to receive enhanced yield from dividend cash flows. That distinction matters if you expect a stablecoin balance to grow automatically.
Apyx says apxUSD is backed by more than 100% collateral in preferred shares issued by publicly listed Digital Asset Treasuries. The protocol converts dividends from those shares into onchain yield for the vault product. That structure is different from a stablecoin backed only by cash or short-term government securities, and it links the token’s support to securities, issuers and offchain dividend payments.
Before you hold apxUSD, decide whether you need a dollar-like token for transfers or DeFi use, or are looking for yield. The latter involves apyUSD and its own locking, withdrawal and smart-contract considerations; it is not a feature of apxUSD itself.
## Which networks and wallets can hold apxUSD?
The reported networks for apxUSD are Ethereum, Base, BNB Chain and Solana. It is not the native token of any of these chains, so you will need the right network selected in your wallet or exchange when receiving or sending it. A token shown on one network is not automatically the same asset as a version on another network.
For self-custody, use a wallet that supports the specific chain and token standard involved: an Ethereum-compatible wallet for Ethereum, Base and BNB Chain, or a Solana-compatible wallet for Solana. Wallet support can vary, and a token may need to be added or imported before it appears. Confirm the network and token contract or mint address through Apyx’s official channels before sending; do not rely on a matching name or ticker alone.
Keep your recovery phrase offline and private. If you hold apxUSD with a custodial exchange, the exchange controls the onchain keys and its deposit and withdrawal options may differ by network. Check that the receiving platform supports the exact network you plan to use.
## How do supply and the dollar target work?
As of 2026-11-08, reported circulating and total supply were both about 298.5 million APXUSD, with no maximum supply reported. The reported price was about $0.993, below the token’s intended dollar value. A stablecoin target is a design goal, not a guarantee that you can always trade or redeem at exactly $1.
Supply can change as tokens are issued or removed, but Apyx has not published a maximum supply in the stated token details. The intended backing is preferred equity from Digital Asset Treasuries, with cash dividends supporting the separate apyUSD yield mechanism. The market price can also move with trading liquidity, demand, confidence in collateral and the ability to redeem or move tokens.
Treat market prices and supply figures as snapshots, not fixed terms. A reported market price does not establish what the protocol will pay for a redemption, and collateral value can change. Check current supply, price and the protocol’s redemption terms before relying on apxUSD for a payment or short-term cash need.
## How can you get and store apxUSD?
You may encounter apxUSD through a supported exchange, a decentralised exchange, or Apyx’s own protocol, depending on current availability and your region. The token facts here do not establish which venues support deposits, withdrawals or direct redemption, so check those details with the service you intend to use. Do not assume that buying or swapping the token gives you a direct claim on the underlying preferred shares.
For a self-custody transfer, first confirm that the sender and recipient support the same network and the exact apxUSD token. A small test transfer can help catch a network or address mistake, though it still incurs fees. Never share your recovery phrase or sign a transaction you do not understand.
If your goal is yield, distinguish apxUSD from apyUSD before interacting with a vault. Apyx describes apyUSD as a vault token received by locking apxUSD; the two tokens have different roles and risks. Review current deposit, unlock and redemption terms, including any limits or delays, rather than treating the vault token as interchangeable with apxUSD.
## What does it cost to move apxUSD?
Sending apxUSD generally costs the network fee for the chain you use, paid in that chain’s native asset rather than in APXUSD. Ethereum fees can vary with network activity; Base and BNB Chain have their own fee markets, and Solana transactions use its network fee system. The exact amount changes over time, so check the wallet’s estimate before signing.
Moving apxUSD between networks may require a bridge or a service that swaps and transfers tokens. That can add a service fee, a second network fee, and extra transaction steps. The token facts do not establish a specific official bridge or a fixed transfer charge. A bridge also introduces its own operational and smart-contract risks, so confirm the route and destination token carefully.
If you deposit to an exchange, use the network shown on its deposit page and check for minimums or unsupported-token warnings. Sending on the wrong chain can leave funds inaccessible or require support intervention; recovery is not guaranteed. Fees and processing times can differ between onchain transfers, exchange withdrawals and swaps.
## What could go wrong when you hold apxUSD?
The central risk is that apxUSD’s stated backing is preferred equity, not simply cash held in a bank account. The value and liquidity of those shares, the financial condition of their issuers and the payment of dividends can affect confidence in the collateral model. Dividends are offchain cash flows, so operational steps are needed before they can support onchain yield.
Apyx describes daily net asset value reporting, issuer-concentration and liquidity thresholds, stress testing, automatic rebalancing and a protocol-owned liquidity buffer. Those are risk controls, not guarantees against losses, a depeg, delayed redemptions or a failure of a contract or service. Apyx has not published an audit status in the stated token details; check for current independent audits and collateral reporting before relying on the system.
You also face normal token risks: smart-contract bugs, chain outages, bridge exploits, thin liquidity, exchange custody failures and mistakes when sending funds. Do not treat the dollar target or “overcollateralised” description as protection equivalent to insured cash. Only hold an amount you can afford to have inaccessible or lose.
## What is known about apxUSD’s history?
Apyx describes itself as a dividend-backed stablecoin protocol. Its model uses preferred shares issued by publicly listed Digital Asset Treasuries as collateral for apxUSD, then directs the associated dividend cash flows toward yield in the separate apyUSD vault. DeFi Development Corp. (Nasdaq: DFDV), described as the first Solana Digital Asset Treasury, is identified as a core strategic partner.
The token facts do not give a launch date, so the start of apxUSD’s history cannot be stated here. The reported all-time high was about $1.012 on 2026-03-12, and the reported all-time low was about $0.718 on 2026-06-26. Those past prices show that the token has traded away from its intended dollar value; they do not indicate what it will do next.
As of 2026-11-08, the reported market capitalisation was about $296.3 million. That figure and the reported price can change quickly, and market capitalisation is not the same as cash available for redemptions. For a current decision, look at the live market, collateral reporting and redemption terms together.

APXUSD FAQs
Does apxUSD earn yield?
No. Apyx describes apxUSD as the synthetic dollar and apyUSD as the vault token that receives yield from dividend cash flows. Holding apxUSD alone does not pay that yield.
Which networks support apxUSD?
Apyx reports apxUSD on Ethereum, Base, BNB Chain and Solana. Confirm the exact network and token address with the sender or receiving service before transferring.
Is apxUSD always worth one dollar?
No. Apyx describes the dollar value as a target, and the reported market price was about $0.993 as of 2026-11-08. A market price does not guarantee that you can redeem at $1.
What backs apxUSD?
Apyx says the token is backed by more than 100% collateral in preferred shares issued by Digital Asset Treasuries. That is not the same as a guarantee of cash redemption, and the shares and dividend flows carry risks.
What fees do you pay to transfer apxUSD?
The network fee depends on the chain and its current activity, and you generally pay it in the chain’s native asset. A bridge or swap can add separate fees; check the quoted costs before confirming.
What is the market cap of apxUSD?
As of Nov 8, 2026, apxUSD had a market cap of about $296M, ranking #135 among cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation. Market cap is price multiplied by circulating supply, so it moves with the price.
What is the all-time high of APXUSD?
apxUSD's all-time high is $1.01, reached on Mar 12, 2026. Its all-time low is $0.7176 (Jun 26, 2026). Past prices say nothing about future returns.
What is the circulating supply of APXUSD?
As of Nov 8, 2026, about 298.47M APXUSD were in circulation; no fixed maximum supply is listed.
Which blockchains is APXUSD on?
