What can you use ETN for?
ETN is the native token associated with Electroneum, a blockchain project that also supports the AnyTask freelance platform. If you hold ETN, its practical uses depend on whether a service accepts it and whether you can send it over the network that service supports. Electroneum has also been described as focused on mobile payments, but don’t assume that every merchant or utility accepts ETN.
Before paying with it, check:
- The recipient accepts ETN, not just another token with a similar name.
- The wallet and service support the same Electroneum network.
- You understand any conversion, withdrawal or transaction charges the service applies.
ETN’s role in a project does not guarantee demand for the token or make it a reliable payment method. Confirm the recipient and network before sending; crypto transfers generally cannot be reversed.
Which network should your ETN wallet support?
Electroneum is described as an EVM-compatible Layer 1 blockchain, meaning it is intended to run smart contracts in a way familiar to Ethereum developers. That does not mean ETN is automatically an Ethereum-based token. The project description identifies IBFT as the network’s consensus mechanism, while other ETN information refers to CryptoNight; check that the wallet or exchange is supporting the current Electroneum network before you transfer.
For any withdrawal or deposit, match the network shown on both sides. A wallet’s ticker search result alone is not enough: different assets can share a symbol, and sending ETN to an unsupported network or address can result in permanent loss. Check the network name, address format and any required memo or tag with the receiving service. If you are moving a large balance, consider testing with a small transfer first.
How much ETN exists?
Electroneum’s stated maximum supply is 21 billion ETN. As of 2026-11-08, circulating and total supply were each about 17.98 billion ETN, leaving a difference of roughly 3.02 billion between the reported supply and the stated cap. Supply figures can change, so check a current network or market reference before relying on them for a transaction or valuation.
A maximum supply is not a price floor, and it does not tell you how much ETN is readily available to trade. Price can move sharply even when supply changes little. If you are assessing your exposure, consider the value you could afford to lose rather than treating the token cap or past market prices as a guarantee of future value.
How should you store ETN safely?
Choose a wallet only after confirming it supports the Electroneum network and the type of ETN you hold. Keep your recovery phrase offline, private and backed up somewhere secure; anyone with that phrase can control the wallet. Never share it with a person claiming to offer support, and avoid storing it in screenshots, email or cloud notes.
For an exchange balance, the exchange controls the keys and access to your funds. That can be convenient, but withdrawals may be paused or account access restricted. With a self-custody wallet, you control the keys but also carry the responsibility: losing the recovery phrase or sending funds to the wrong network can mean permanent loss. Use strong account security and verify addresses before confirming transfers.
What could go wrong if you hold ETN?
ETN carries the usual risks of a crypto asset: its market value can fall sharply, and you may not be able to sell or transfer it when you want. As of 2026-11-08, its reported market capitalization was about $22.9 million; that figure changes with price and does not guarantee trading depth or a buyer for your amount. Check current liquidity and withdrawal availability before making a transaction.
There are also network and operational risks. A wallet may not support the right network, a service can change its terms, and a mistaken transfer may be irreversible. Electroneum’s EVM compatibility and transaction-speed claims do not remove smart-contract, validator, software or security risks. Do not rely on ETN for money you need for essential expenses, and avoid decisions based only on past price movements.
By the numbers
Electroneum in numbers
Electroneum (ETN) is ranked #753 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $22.9M and a price of $0.001274 as of Nov 8, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation ($22.9M) is close to its market cap, so little new supply is still to come.
The price was down 26.6% over 7 days, down 38.0% over 30 days, down 31.4% over the past year. It trades about 99% below its all-time high of $0.2079, set on Jan 5, 2018.
About 17.98B ETN are in circulation out of a maximum supply of 21B (86% issued).
24-hour trading volume was about $366K, or 1.6% of its market cap: low turnover, so large orders can move the price.
CoinGecko groups ETN under Layer 1 tokens.

ETN FAQs
What is Electroneum (ETN)?
ETN is the token associated with Electroneum, a Layer 1 blockchain project. It is also described as providing the backbone for the AnyTask freelance platform.
Is ETN an Ethereum token?
Electroneum is described as an EVM-compatible Layer 1, but ETN should not be assumed to be an Ethereum token. Confirm the network with your wallet or exchange before sending it.
What is the maximum supply of ETN?
Electroneum’s stated maximum supply is 21 billion ETN. About 17.98 billion were reported as circulating and total supply as of 2026-11-08.
How do you store ETN?
Only use a wallet that explicitly supports the Electroneum network and your ETN asset. Keep the recovery phrase private and offline, and verify the network and address before transferring.
What can ETN be used for?
ETN supports the Electroneum project, including its connection to AnyTask. Whether you can spend it depends on the recipient or service accepting ETN and supporting the same network.
What is the market cap of Electroneum?
As of Nov 8, 2026, Electroneum had a market cap of about $22.9M, ranking #753 among cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation. Market cap is price multiplied by circulating supply, so it moves with the price.
What is the all-time high of ETN?
Electroneum's all-time high is $0.2079, reached on Jan 5, 2018. Its all-time low is $0.0007013 (Aug 14, 2026). Past prices say nothing about future returns.
What is the circulating supply of ETN?
As of Nov 8, 2026, about 17.98B ETN were in circulation, against a maximum supply of 21B.
