What can you do with AVL?
AVL is the governance token of Avalon Labs, a project focused on Bitcoin-backed finance. Avalon says holders can use AVL to participate in decisions about its ecosystem. Staking is also described as a way to earn AVL rewards, but reward rates and conditions can change; check the current terms before committing tokens.
Avalon’s products include Bitcoin-backed lending, a Bitcoin-backed stablecoin and yield products. These services are separate from simply holding AVL: owning the token does not by itself give you a loan, a yield account or a claim on protocol revenue. If you are considering a product, check its fees, custody arrangements, audit coverage and liquidation terms. Borrowing against Bitcoin can expose you to liquidation if collateral values fall, and yield products carry risks that holding a token does not.
Which chains and wallets can hold AVL?
AVL is issued on Ethereum, Bitlayer and BNB Chain; it is not listed as the native token of any of them. Before sending tokens, confirm which network your exchange or wallet supports and make sure the receiving address is for AVL on that same network. A transfer to an incompatible network or address may be difficult or impossible to recover.
Use a wallet that supports the relevant chain and lets you verify the token contract before adding it. A hardware wallet can keep signing keys offline, while a software wallet may be more convenient for governance or staking. In either case, protect your recovery phrase offline and never share it. Search for AVL by its verified contract address rather than relying on a token name or ticker alone: unrelated tokens can use the same label. Test with a small transfer if you are unsure about the network or address.
How much AVL exists, and what does supply mean?
As of 2026-11-08, AVL has a maximum and total supply of 1 billion tokens, with about 447 million circulating. The gap between circulating and total supply matters: tokens not currently circulating may enter circulation later and affect the balance of supply and demand. Avalon has not published a token distribution or unlock schedule in the facts used for this guide, so you should not assume when or how quickly that remaining supply will be released.
Market figures can change quickly. On 2026-11-08, AVL’s market capitalisation was about $7.6 million and its fully diluted valuation was about $17.1 million. These are snapshots, not measures of future value or a guarantee that you can sell at a particular price. Check current supply and market data before making a decision, and avoid treating past price movements as a forecast.
How should you store AVL, and what could go wrong?
For safer self-custody, get your wallet from its official source, create a fresh recovery phrase and keep it offline in a private place. Never enter that phrase into a website or give it to someone claiming to provide support. Confirm the network, token contract and recipient address before approving a transfer. For staking or governance, read the transaction details and permissions; a malicious approval can put more than the intended amount at risk.
AVL’s price can fluctuate sharply, and a smaller market can make it harder to trade without affecting the price. Staking may involve lockups, changing reward terms or smart-contract risk. Avalon’s borrowing and yield products introduce separate risks, including custody, protocol or counterparty failure, and liquidation of Bitcoin collateral. Don’t confuse the risks of those services with token ownership, and don’t commit funds you cannot afford to lose. Avalon’s audit coverage, fees, custody details and liquidation terms need checking before you use its financial products.

Avalon (AVL) is ranked #1,394 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $7.64M and a price of $0.0171 as of Nov 8, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation is $17.1M, so roughly 45% of the eventual supply is in circulation today; tokens still to be released could add selling pressure.
The price was down 3.5% over 7 days, down 14.3% over 30 days, down 89.5% over the past year. It trades about 98% below its all-time high of $0.7871, set on Mar 7, 2025.
About 446.93M AVL are in circulation out of a maximum supply of 1B (45% issued).
24-hour trading volume was about $66.8K, or 0.9% of its market cap: low turnover, so large orders can move the price.
AVL has token contracts on 3 chains we track, including Ethereum, Bitlayer, BNB Chain. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.
AVL is linked to Avalon CeDeFi, which we cover in our CeDeFi rankings. See our Avalon CeDeFi page for how the protocol works and how we score it.
