What does holding QNT let you do?

QNT is mainly a utility token for access to Quant Network’s Overledger platform. Overledger is designed to connect applications and services across different blockchains, so developers and businesses can work across networks rather than rely on one chain. QNT is described as being used for platform access, licensing and payment for services. That gives the token a practical role within Quant’s product, but it does not mean that holding QNT automatically gives you a share of the company, revenue, or governance rights. Claims about staking also circulate; check Quant’s current terms before treating staking as an established use or expecting rewards. If you hold QNT without using Overledger, its value to you is largely tied to whether you expect demand for the platform and token to persist. Utility does not guarantee demand, and it does not protect the token from price swings.

Which chain and wallets support QNT?

QNT is an Ethereum token, not the native coin of a separate QNT blockchain. You can generally store it in wallets that support Ethereum and ERC-20 tokens, including software wallets and hardware wallets configured for Ethereum. Before sending, check that the wallet supports the correct QNT token and that you have selected the Ethereum network. A token with the same name or ticker on another network may be a wrapped or unrelated asset. Exchanges may also hold QNT for you in a custodial account; in that case, the exchange controls the keys and its withdrawal rules apply. For self-custody, keep your recovery phrase offline and private. A wallet address can be public, but anyone with your recovery phrase can control the assets. Check the token contract address through an official Quant channel before adding a token manually, since counterfeit tokens can imitate QNT.

How much QNT exists, and what can move its price?

QNT has a capped maximum supply of 14,612,493 tokens. As of 2026-11-08, about 14.56 million were reported in circulation, close to the stated maximum. These figures can change as supply classifications are updated; the cap is not a promise that market demand will remain steady. QNT’s price can be affected by demand for Overledger access, expectations about adoption, broader crypto-market movements, liquidity and holders’ decisions to sell or hold. Those factors can move in different directions, and platform use does not translate automatically into higher token demand. As a dated snapshot, QNT was about $194.61 on 2026-11-08; that figure is not a current quote or a forecast. Treat market-cap and price figures as temporary, and check a live market source before making calculations. No price movement is guaranteed by the token’s limited supply.

How do people get and store QNT?

You can obtain QNT through a crypto exchange that lists it, or receive it from another holder. Availability, identity checks, payment methods and withdrawal limits depend on the service and your location. There is no need to use a particular service just because it lists QNT; compare its fees, custody arrangements and withdrawal support before deciding how to handle the token. If you withdraw to a personal wallet, confirm that the exchange is sending on Ethereum and that your receiving wallet supports the token. A small test transfer can help catch an address or network mistake, though it adds another transaction fee. For long-term storage, self-custody gives you control of the keys but makes you responsible for backups and recovery. Leaving QNT with a custodian avoids managing a recovery phrase, but exposes you to the custodian’s operational and access risks.

What does it cost to move QNT?

Sending QNT on Ethereum requires an Ethereum network fee, usually paid in ETH. The fee varies with network demand and transaction complexity; it is separate from the amount of QNT you send. An exchange may charge its own withdrawal fee or set a minimum, so check the amount and network shown at the withdrawal screen before confirming. If you use a bridge or a wrapped version of QNT on another network, there may be additional bridge costs, delays and smart-contract risks. Confirm that the destination wallet or service accepts that specific version; sending a token over an unsupported network can make recovery difficult or impossible. A bridge does not make a transfer fee-free, and moving back to Ethereum can involve another fee. Do not rely on a fixed fee estimate: check the live network cost and the service’s terms at the time of transfer.

What could go wrong with holding QNT?

QNT carries the risks of a volatile crypto asset and the additional uncertainty of a token whose utility depends on a commercial platform. Overledger adoption, access terms or product changes could affect perceived demand, while competing interoperability approaches may reduce interest. Ethereum congestion and fees can make smaller transfers uneconomic. You also face common custody risks: a compromised exchange, lost recovery phrase, fake token contract, phishing message or mistaken network selection. Verify wallet addresses and token details independently, and never share your recovery phrase to receive support. Do not assume that staking offers are official or risk-free; check Quant’s current terms and understand lockups, counterparty exposure and possible loss before interacting with any service. QNT’s supply cap does not prevent sharp price declines. Only use funds you can afford to lose, and do not treat past performance as a guide to future results.

What is QNT’s history?

Quant Network launched QNT on 2018-06-25. The project’s central product is Overledger, described as software intended to connect blockchains and support applications that operate across multiple networks. QNT is an Ethereum-issued token used for access and licensing within that ecosystem, rather than a coin that secures its own independent blockchain. QNT reached a recorded all-time high of $427.42 on 2021-09-11 and an all-time low of $0.215773 on 2018-08-22. Those historical extremes show how widely its price has moved, not what it may do next. The project description does not establish a guaranteed level of platform use or token demand. If you are assessing QNT as an existing holder, focus on whether the token’s current access and payment roles still matter to you, and verify current product and custody terms before taking action.

By the numbers

Quant in numbers

Quant (QNT) is ranked #34 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $2.83B and a price of $194.61 as of Nov 8, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation ($2.84B) is close to its market cap, so little new supply is still to come.

The price was down 3.1% over 7 days, down 18.3% over 30 days, up 120% over the past year. It trades about 54% below its all-time high of $427.42, set on Sep 11, 2021.

About 14.56M QNT are in circulation out of a maximum supply of 14.61M (100% issued).

24-hour trading volume was about $40.7M, or 1.4% of its market cap: low turnover, so large orders can move the price.

QNT has token contracts on Ethereum. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.

CoinGecko groups QNT under Real-world asset (RWA) tokens, Infrastructure tokens.

QNT FAQs

Is QNT an Ethereum token?

QNT is an Ethereum-issued token, not the native coin of a separate Quant blockchain. Check that a wallet or exchange supports QNT on Ethereum before sending it.

What is QNT used for?

QNT is described as supporting access, licensing and payment for services on Overledger. Holding QNT alone does not guarantee platform benefits, company ownership or income.

What is the maximum supply of QNT?

QNT has a maximum supply of 14,612,493 tokens. About 14.56 million were reported in circulation as of 2026-11-08; supply figures can change as classifications are updated.

Do you need ETH to send QNT?

Ethereum network fees for sending QNT are generally paid in ETH and vary with network demand. Exchanges can add withdrawal fees, and using a bridge can add further costs and risks.

Where can you store QNT?

You can store QNT in a wallet that supports Ethereum and ERC-20 tokens, or leave it with a custodial exchange. Self-custody gives you control of the keys but also responsibility for securing your recovery phrase.

What is the market cap of Quant?

As of Nov 8, 2026, Quant had a market cap of about $2.83B, ranking #34 among cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation. Market cap is price multiplied by circulating supply, so it moves with the price.

What is the all-time high of QNT?

Quant's all-time high is $427.42, reached on Sep 11, 2021. Its all-time low is $0.2158 (Aug 22, 2018). Past prices say nothing about future returns.

What is the circulating supply of QNT?

As of Nov 8, 2026, about 14.56M QNT were in circulation, against a maximum supply of 14.61M.

Which blockchains is QNT on?

It has token contracts on Ethereum.
