## What can you use PART for?

PART is Particl’s native coin, used in a blockchain platform built around private transactions and decentralized applications. The project’s main consumer-facing use is Particl Marketplace, a peer-to-peer marketplace designed to support trading with different cryptocurrencies. Its privacy features include private transactions, encrypted data and messaging, and private listings. These features are intended to reduce the information exposed during marketplace activity; they do not mean every user or transaction is automatically untraceable in every situation.

PART also plays a role in securing the network through staking. Particl says platform fees go to PART holders who help secure the network. Cold staking is designed to let a staking node contribute staking power without being able to spend the coins in the delegating wallet. If you are considering PART, separate these uses from the coin’s market value: staking and marketplace functions do not guarantee demand or returns.

## Which network and wallet should you use for PART?

Particl is its own blockchain, and PART is its native coin rather than a token issued on Ethereum or another external chain. That matters when you send it: use a wallet and network that explicitly support the Particl blockchain. Sending PART to an address or network intended for another asset can make funds difficult or impossible to recover.

Particl Desktop is the project’s wallet and interface for its marketplace and PART. Before installing or restoring a wallet, confirm that the software is genuinely from the project and that it supports the version and functions you need. Keep your recovery phrase offline, never share it, and make a small test transfer before sending a larger amount. If you plan to stake, understand whether you are using local staking or cold staking and what permissions the setup requires. A staking node that cannot spend delegated coins is a useful design distinction, but it does not protect you from losing your recovery phrase or approving a malicious transaction.

## How much PART exists, and how easy is it to trade?

The reported circulating and total supply are both about 15.95 million PART as of 2026-11-08. A maximum supply is not specified, so do not assume the current total is a hard cap. Supply figures can also change as network activity and project accounting evolve; check the Particl network before relying on a balance or supply estimate for a decision.

Market figures are especially changeable. As of 2026-11-08, PART’s reported market capitalization was about $2.9 million, while reported 24-hour trading volume was about $2. These are snapshots, not fixed characteristics. Very low reported volume can make it harder to trade a desired amount near a quoted price, and displayed prices may not reflect what you can actually get. Avoid treating a market-cap rank, past high, or past low as evidence of future performance. PART can lose value, and you may not be able to sell quickly at a price you consider acceptable.

## How can you store PART safely, and what can go wrong?

Treat PART like any self-custodied crypto asset: whoever controls the recovery phrase can control the coins. Write the phrase down and store it somewhere private and secure, away from internet-connected devices. Do not send it to anyone claiming to offer support, and be wary of downloads, messages, or marketplace offers that ask you to reveal it. Keep wallet software current, and verify transaction details on your device before approving them.

Particl’s privacy features can reduce the exposure of transaction or marketplace information, but they cannot remove every risk. Malware, phishing, a compromised device, mistakes in an address, and loss of backups can still cost you funds. Privacy is not a guarantee of anonymity, and counterparties may learn information you share directly or through delivery arrangements. Rules for privacy-focused coins and their availability vary by country and service provider. Check local requirements and the terms of any exchange or marketplace you use, and only hold an amount you can afford to lose.

## What should you check before using Particl Marketplace or staking?

Before using Particl Marketplace, check what payment method a listing supports, how the exchange is arranged, and what information you will need to share to complete it. The marketplace is designed to support different cryptocurrencies and privacy-oriented trading, but a private transaction does not remove practical risks such as a seller failing to deliver, disputes over an item, or shipping details exposing your identity. Review the listing and counterparty carefully, and avoid sharing more personal information than the transaction requires.

If you use staking, understand the setup before delegating coins and verify that you retain control of your spending keys. Staking does not eliminate price risk, software risk, or the chance of losing access to your wallet. Particl’s open-source and community-governed design also means you should assess project activity and wallet maintenance for yourself rather than assuming development will continue at a particular pace. Do not rely on marketplace privacy or staking as a substitute for basic security and careful judgment.

By the numbers

About 15.95M PART are in circulation. No hard maximum supply is listed, so new tokens can still be issued.

24-hour trading volume was about $2, or 0.0% of its market cap: low turnover, so large orders can move the price.

PART FAQs

Is PART an ERC-20 token?

PART is the native coin of the Particl blockchain, not an Ethereum token. Use a wallet and network that explicitly support Particl, such as Particl Desktop.

Where can you store PART?

Particl Desktop is the project’s wallet and marketplace interface. Protect its recovery phrase offline, verify software before installing it, and confirm the correct network before sending coins.

Can you stake PART?

Particl supports staking, including a cold-staking design in which a staking node can stake on a wallet’s behalf without being able to spend its coins. Staking still involves wallet, software, and price risks; it is not a guaranteed return.

What is the maximum supply of PART?

The reported circulating and total supply were both about 15.95 million PART as of 2026-11-08. A maximum supply is not specified, so treat the figures as a dated snapshot rather than a confirmed cap.

Are PART transactions completely anonymous?

Particl’s marketplace and coin include privacy-oriented features, but privacy is not a guarantee that every activity is anonymous or impossible to trace. Information you share with counterparties, device security, and local rules can still matter.

What is the market cap of Particl?

As of Nov 8, 2026, Particl had a market cap of about $2.91M, ranking #2,049 among cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation. Market cap is price multiplied by circulating supply, so it moves with the price.
