What does holding ZEPH let you do?
ZEPH is the base coin of Zephyr Protocol, a privacy-focused stablecoin system built on a Monero-based blockchain. Its main role is collateral: users can add ZEPH to the protocol’s reserve to mint ZephUSD, the private stablecoin, or ZephRSV, the reserve asset. ZephUSD is described as backed by at least 400% of its value in ZEPH when minted. ZephRSV represents a share of the reserve’s equity; its formula-based value can fall when the reserve ratio is low and rise when it is high.
That means ZEPH is not simply a payment token or a stablecoin. Its value is volatile, and it also underpins the protocol’s stablecoin mechanism. Reserve providers may receive ZephRSV and fees from ZephUSD minting and redemption, but those mechanics expose them to changes in ZEPH’s price and reserve conditions. Holding ZEPH does not itself give you a guaranteed return or stable value.
Which chain and wallet should you use for ZEPH?
ZEPH is native to the Zephyr blockchain, which is based on Monero. The chain is designed to hide transaction amounts and sender and recipient addresses for its native assets. A search result also reports an EVM bridge for Zephyr’s private stablecoin, but that does not establish that every bridged asset is ZEPH or that a bridged version has the same privacy properties as native ZEPH.
Before sending funds, check the exact asset, network and deposit address supported by your exchange or wallet. A token with the same ticker on another network may be a wrapped or bridged version, not native ZEPH. The Zephyr wallet software can create an encrypted wallet file. Keep the wallet password and a separate backup of your recovery information private, and test a small transfer if you are unsure whether you selected the right network. Sending funds to an incompatible chain or address can make them unrecoverable.
How much ZEPH exists, and is supply capped?
About 12.27 million ZEPH were in circulation as of 2026-11-08. The reported total supply was also about 12.27 million on that date. A maximum supply has not been published, so the figures do not tell you whether the eventual supply is capped or how issuance may change.
Supply figures are not a measure of how much ZEPH you can sell at a particular price. Trading liquidity can be limited, and a large order may move the market or execute at a worse price than expected. The reported market capitalization was about $2.2 million as of 2026-11-08; both that figure and circulating supply can change. If you are comparing ZEPH with another asset, check whether the circulating-supply estimate, total supply and any bridged tokens are being counted consistently.
What could go wrong if you hold or use ZEPH?
Treat ZEPH as a high-risk crypto asset. Its price can move sharply, and limited market depth can make it difficult to sell quickly at a desired price. As of 2026-11-08, its reported price was about $0.18, down about 79% over the prior year. Those figures describe past movement; they do not indicate what the price will do next.
There are also protocol-specific risks. ZephUSD’s stated collateral backing is measured in ZEPH, so a steep fall in ZEPH’s value may put pressure on the reserve and its ability to support the stablecoin. ZephRSV is tied to reserve conditions and can lose value when the reserve ratio falls. Minting and redemption fees are added to the reserve, but their size and the effect of any protocol changes should be checked before you transact. Do not treat the stablecoin design or collateral ratio as a guarantee that you can redeem at a particular value.
How can you store ZEPH without losing access?
For self-custody, use the official Zephyr wallet software, protect the wallet file with a strong password, and keep recovery information offline in a separate secure place. Never share a recovery phrase, private key or wallet file with someone who contacts you unexpectedly. A wallet backup helps you recover access, but it does not protect the value of ZEPH from market losses or protocol problems.
If you hold ZEPH on an exchange, you rely on that company to safeguard withdrawals and keep its ZEPH markets operating. Check whether withdrawals are for native Zephyr-chain ZEPH, what network the exchange supports and whether it permits deposits and withdrawals at the time you need them. Avoid sending funds until you have verified the destination network and address. For a large transfer, consider a small test transaction first; account for any network or exchange charges shown before confirming.

ZEPH FAQs
What blockchain is ZEPH on?
ZEPH is native to the Zephyr blockchain, a Monero-based network. Check that a wallet or exchange supports native Zephyr-chain ZEPH before depositing or withdrawing.
What is ZEPH used for?
Zephyr Protocol describes ZEPH as collateral used to mint ZephUSD and ZephRSV through its reserve. ZEPH itself is not a stablecoin and can fluctuate in value.
What is the total supply of ZEPH?
About 12.27 million ZEPH were reported in circulation as of 2026-11-08. A maximum supply has not been published, so a fixed cap cannot be confirmed.
How do I store ZEPH safely?
The Zephyr wallet software can create an encrypted wallet file. Protect it with a strong password and keep your recovery information in a secure offline backup; losing access can mean losing your funds.
Is ZephUSD risk-free because it is over-collateralized?
No. ZephUSD is described as collateralized with ZEPH, but its backing depends on reserve conditions and the value of that collateral. A stated collateral ratio does not guarantee that you can redeem at a particular price.
What is the market cap of Zephyr Protocol?
As of Nov 8, 2026, Zephyr Protocol had a market cap of about $2.22M, ranking #2,286 among cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation. Market cap is price multiplied by circulating supply, so it moves with the price.
What is the all-time high of ZEPH?
Zephyr Protocol's all-time high is $52.31, reached on Nov 23, 2023. Its all-time low is $0.1435 (Nov 2, 2026). Past prices say nothing about future returns.
What is the circulating supply of ZEPH?
As of Nov 8, 2026, about 12.27M ZEPH were in circulation; no fixed maximum supply is listed.
