What can you use KLV for?

KLV is the utility token of Klever Blockchain. You may use it for activity on the network, including transaction fees and staking. The project also describes tools for creating tokens, stablecoins and decentralised applications, and support for Rust and WebAssembly smart contracts.

Klever describes a gasless-token option in which a token creator can set the transaction cost and users pay it in the token they are transferring. That does not mean every transaction across Klever is free: check the fee shown for the specific action and token before you confirm it. KLV is also integrated into Klever services such as Klever Wallet and Klever Swap. The project says staking can support network security and earn rewards, but reward rates and staking terms can change. Check the current terms, including any lockup and withdrawal conditions, before committing KLV.

Which chain and wallets support KLV?

KLV is described as the native token of Klever Blockchain, a layer-1 network. Its role is tied to that chain and Klever’s ecosystem; don’t assume that a token labelled KLV on another network is the same asset or will work with the same services.

Klever Wallet is one named option in the ecosystem, and Klever Swap is a named service. Before sending KLV, confirm that the wallet or exchange supports KLV on Klever Blockchain, then compare the network selected by the sender and recipient. A matching token ticker alone is not enough to establish network compatibility. If you are moving KLV from an exchange, check its withdrawal network and any minimums or fees shown at the time. For self-custody, make sure you can restore access to your wallet before transferring a meaningful amount.

How much KLV exists?

KLV has a maximum supply of 10 billion tokens. As of 2026-11-08, about 9.03 billion were reported as both circulating and total supply, leaving a difference of roughly 974 million between circulation and the stated maximum. Supply figures can change, so check the current token data before relying on them.

On that date, KLV’s market capitalisation was about $4.8 million, and its fully diluted valuation was also about $4.8 million. The quoted price was about $0.00053. These are snapshots, not forecasts; market price and valuation can move quickly, and small-token markets may be less liquid than larger ones. The token’s maximum supply does not guarantee demand or value. If you are reviewing a balance or transaction, use the token’s exact network and contract details shown in the wallet or service you use, rather than relying on the ticker alone.

How can you store KLV more safely?

If you hold KLV in a self-custody wallet, protect the recovery phrase offline and never share it with anyone claiming to provide support. A wallet app does not store your funds in the same way a bank holds cash: control of the keys is what lets you authorise transactions. Anyone who gets your recovery phrase may be able to take the assets.

Use a device you keep updated, a strong screen lock and a unique password for any wallet account. Check the network, recipient address and amount before approving a transfer; crypto transfers are generally difficult or impossible to reverse. Be cautious with unexpected messages, fake wallet apps and sites asking you to connect a wallet or reveal your phrase. For staking, verify the validator or staking option and review the current reward, lockup and withdrawal terms in the wallet before confirming. Consider a small test transfer when using a new address or route.

What risks should you check before holding KLV?

KLV carries the usual risks of holding a volatile crypto asset, including sharp price changes and the possibility that you cannot sell or transfer it when you want. Its reported market value is small, so check trading liquidity and the order price you would actually receive rather than relying only on a headline quote. Never treat a past price or supply cap as evidence of future performance.

There are also network and service risks. A transaction can fail, fees and staking terms may change, and a mistake involving the network or address can make funds inaccessible. Smart contracts and applications can contain vulnerabilities, while staking may expose you to lockups or other conditions specific to the option you choose. Keep only the KLV you intend to use in connected services, and understand the terms before approving transactions. Do not commit money you cannot afford to lose.
