What can you use FUSE for?
FUSE is the native token of the Fuse blockchain, an EVM-compatible network that has been live since 2019. Its clearest practical use is paying transaction fees on Fuse: you need FUSE in the wallet sending a transaction to cover its network gas. The network uses delegated proof of stake, but check current network rules before assuming that simply holding FUSE earns rewards or gives you a particular role.
Fuse is designed for payments and settlement. The network also supports the Solid consumer finance app, which offers stablecoin yield, a Visa debit card and lending. That does not mean FUSE itself is a stablecoin, or that every Solid feature requires FUSE. Fuse also supports payment standards including x402, MPP and MCP; these are network capabilities, not a promise of token returns.
If you are considering FUSE, separate the network’s intended uses from the token’s direct uses. For an ordinary holder, the main concrete reason to keep some FUSE is to pay gas on Fuse. The token’s price can still move independently of how often the network or its apps are used.
Which networks and wallets can hold FUSE?
FUSE is native to Fuse and is also issued on Ethereum, Arbitrum, BNB Chain, Base, Optimism, xDai and Polygon. These are separate networks: a FUSE balance on one chain is not automatically available on another. Before sending or withdrawing, check the network selected by both your wallet and the service you are using, along with the token contract where relevant.
Use a wallet that explicitly supports the network holding your FUSE. EVM compatibility does not guarantee that every wallet or exchange supports every FUSE version. If you are using FUSE on Fuse, you will also need the network configured in your wallet and a small amount of native FUSE for transaction fees. On another chain, that chain’s gas token may be required instead.
For a first transfer, send a small test amount if the fees make that reasonable. Confirm the destination address and network before approving. If a service does not show the same network you see in your wallet, pause rather than guessing: a transfer sent on the wrong chain may be difficult or impossible to recover.
How much FUSE exists, and how volatile is it?
The reported circulating supply is about 393.6 million FUSE, and total supply is also about 393.6 million. No maximum supply is listed, so do not treat today’s total as a fixed cap. Supply figures can change, and circulating supply is not the same as the amount available to trade.
As a dated snapshot, FUSE traded at about $0.00665 and had a market capitalisation of about $2.6 million on November 8, 2026. These figures can change quickly; a quoted price or market cap is not a guarantee that you can sell a particular amount at that price. The token has also experienced large price swings over its history, so a small market capitalisation and limited liquidity can make price moves sharper.
Check the supply and trading conditions again when making a decision. Consider whether you could tolerate losing the value of your holding, and avoid relying on a past high, a recent low or an advertised use case as a guide to future performance. This is not a prediction or a recommendation to buy or sell.
How do you store FUSE safely, and what can go wrong?
Store FUSE in a wallet that supports the chain your tokens are on. Keep your recovery phrase offline, private and backed up securely; anyone who obtains it may be able to control the wallet. A hardware wallet can reduce exposure to online attacks if it supports the relevant network and token, but it cannot prevent you from approving a malicious transaction or sending funds to the wrong address.
FUSE has versions across several chains, so check the network and token contract before adding a token or receiving funds. Be cautious with unexpected messages, fake support accounts, token-claim offers and requests to connect your wallet or sign a transaction. Read transaction details before approving, especially permissions that let a contract move tokens.
There are also risks beyond wallet security. FUSE’s price can fall, and trading liquidity may be limited. Cross-chain transfers add bridge and network risks, while apps and smart contracts can have vulnerabilities or become unavailable. Do not assume a particular app, bridge or contract is audited or insured; verify its current security information and use only funds you can afford to lose.

Fuse in numbers
Fuse (FUSE) is ranked #2,136 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $2.62M and a price of $0.006648 as of Nov 8, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation ($2.62M) is close to its market cap, so little new supply is still to come.
The price was down 10.6% over 7 days, down 27.8% over 30 days, down 7.5% over the past year. It trades about 100% below its all-time high of $2.13, set on Jan 20, 2022.
About 393.6M FUSE are in circulation. No hard maximum supply is listed, so new tokens can still be issued.
24-hour trading volume was about $279K, or 11% of its market cap: high turnover.
FUSE is the native token of Fuse; it also has token contracts on 7 chains we track, including Ethereum, Arbitrum, BNB Chain, Base. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.
CoinGecko groups FUSE under Layer 1 tokens, Layer 2 tokens.

FUSE FAQs
What is FUSE used for?
FUSE is used to pay transaction fees on its native Fuse network. The network also uses delegated proof of stake, but check its current rules rather than assuming that holding FUSE alone earns rewards.
Which networks support FUSE?
FUSE is native to Fuse and is also issued on Ethereum, Arbitrum, BNB Chain, Base, Optimism, xDai and Polygon. Check that your wallet and the receiving service support the same network before sending.
What is the total supply of FUSE?
The reported circulating supply is about 393.6 million FUSE, with total supply also about 393.6 million. No maximum supply is listed, and supply figures can change.
How do I store FUSE safely?
Use a wallet that supports the chain holding your FUSE, protect your recovery phrase offline, and verify the network and address before transferring. Be wary of unexpected requests to connect your wallet or approve token permissions.
Do you need FUSE to use Solid?
Not necessarily. FUSE is used for gas on Fuse, but the token’s uses should not be confused with every feature offered by Solid. Check the requirements for the specific feature and network you plan to use.
What is the market cap of Fuse?
As of Nov 8, 2026, Fuse had a market cap of about $2.62M, ranking #2,136 among cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation. Market cap is price multiplied by circulating supply, so it moves with the price.
What is the all-time high of FUSE?
Fuse's all-time high is $2.13, reached on Jan 20, 2022. Its all-time low is $0.001392 (Aug 14, 2026). Past prices say nothing about future returns.
