What does holding NOM let you do?
NOM is Nomina’s primary network token. Nomina describes its platform as a unified trading platform built to execute complex trading strategies across decentralized exchanges (DEXs). That gives NOM a connection to the platform, but it does not by itself tell you what holding the token lets you do.
Nomina’s published token description does not specify whether NOM is required to use the platform, pays trading fees, grants governance rights, or can be staked for rewards. Don’t assume any of those benefits apply just because NOM is called a network token. Before relying on a particular use, check Nomina’s current token documentation and confirm the feature is live and available to you.
If you hold NOM, treat it as a crypto asset whose value may depend on demand for the token as well as use of the Nomina platform. Platform activity does not guarantee demand for NOM or a return to holders.
Which network and wallet should you use for NOM?
NOM is issued on Ethereum. The project description does not identify NOM as the native token of a separate blockchain, so don’t confuse holding NOM with operating or securing a network through mining or staking.
For self-custody, use a wallet that supports Ethereum tokens and make sure you are sending NOM on the Ethereum network. A token’s ticker is not enough to identify it: confirm the official Ethereum contract address through Nomina’s own channels before adding the token or making a transfer. Sending tokens to an incompatible network or the wrong address can result in permanent loss.
You can also hold NOM with a crypto exchange that lists it, if the service is available in your region. Exchange custody means the platform controls the wallet keys; self-custody means you control the keys and are responsible for protecting them. Check that deposits and withdrawals are supported on the same network you intend to use, and review any withdrawal terms before moving your tokens.
How much NOM is in circulation?
As of November 8, 2026, NOM’s reported supply was about 2.9 billion circulating, 7.32 billion total, and 7.5 billion maximum. The gap between circulating and maximum supply matters: more tokens could enter circulation over time, depending on the project’s release schedule and other token rules.
Nomina’s token description does not set out when or how remaining tokens may be released. Before treating the maximum supply as a measure of scarcity, look for the project’s current token distribution and unlock schedule. A maximum cap does not mean all tokens are circulating, nor does it explain who holds the uncirculated supply.
Supply figures can change, so check a current figure before making decisions. More tokens becoming available can increase potential selling pressure, but supply alone cannot tell you how NOM’s price will move. Consider it alongside actual token uses, market demand, and the risks of the platform and wider crypto market.
How can you store NOM more safely?
For an Ethereum wallet, protect the recovery phrase offline and never share it with anyone claiming they need it to release, verify, or upgrade your NOM. A legitimate support contact does not need your recovery phrase or private key. If you lose them, you may lose access to the tokens; if someone else gets them, they can take control.
Before sending NOM, check the destination address and Ethereum network carefully. A small test transfer can help you catch an address or network mistake, though it does not remove the risk of using a wrong or malicious address. Be cautious with unsolicited messages, fake token listings, and websites that ask you to connect a wallet or approve a transaction. Read wallet prompts before signing: an approval can grant a smart contract permission to move tokens.
If you keep NOM on an exchange, use strong account security and check the exchange’s custody, withdrawal, and account recovery policies. Neither exchange custody nor self-custody eliminates loss or access risks.
What could go wrong if you hold NOM?
NOM carries the usual risks of a small crypto asset: its price can move sharply, trading may be thin, and you may not be able to sell or transfer it when you want. As of November 8, 2026, its reported market capitalization was about $4.2 million, and its price was down roughly 90% over the prior year. Those figures are historical snapshots, not a forecast.
There are also project-specific uncertainties. Nomina’s description links NOM to a platform for complex trading strategies across DEXs, but does not spell out token-holder rights or how platform use creates value for NOM holders. Smart-contract bugs, platform outages, changing token supply, or problems at an underlying DEX could add further risks.
Only hold an amount you can afford to lose, and verify the token contract, supply schedule, and current platform documentation yourself. Don’t rely on past prices or a token’s stated purpose as evidence of future performance.
By the numbers
Nomina in numbers
Nomina (NOM) is ranked #1,784 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $4.23M and a price of $0.001457 as of Nov 8, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation is $10.7M, so roughly 40% of the eventual supply is in circulation today; tokens still to be released could add selling pressure.
The price was down 4.1% over 7 days, down 35.8% over 30 days, down 90.1% over the past year. It trades about 97% below its all-time high of $0.0454, set on Oct 1, 2025.
About 2.9B NOM are in circulation out of a maximum supply of 7.5B (39% issued).
24-hour trading volume was about $3.60M, or 85% of its market cap: very high turnover.
NOM has token contracts on Ethereum. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.

NOM FAQs
What blockchain is Nomina (NOM) on?
NOM is issued on Ethereum. Use an Ethereum-compatible wallet and confirm the official token contract before receiving or sending it.
What is NOM used for?
Nomina describes NOM as its primary network token for a platform that executes complex trading strategies across DEXs. Its published description does not specify whether NOM is required for platform access, fees, staking, or governance.
What is the total supply of NOM?
As of November 8, 2026, about 2.9 billion NOM were circulating, out of a total supply of about 7.32 billion and a maximum of 7.5 billion. Supply figures can change.
Where can I store Nomina?
