What do you use GNOT for?
GNOT is the native token of Gno.land, a Layer 1 blockchain for smart contracts written in Gno, an interpreted variation of Go. You use GNOT to pay network gas for contract execution, storage deposits and cross-chain interactions. That makes it a utility token for using the network, rather than a share in a company or a claim on project revenue.
Gno.land calls its smart contracts “realms.” Their source code is published on-chain, so users and developers can inspect it, verify what it does or fork it. The network is built around deterministic execution, meaning nodes should reach the same result when they run the same contract under the network’s rules. For you, the practical question is whether Gno.land’s apps and tools meet your needs; the token’s purpose alone does not guarantee adoption or value.
Which network and wallet should you use?
GNOT is native to Gno.land. The project facts identify no other native or issued-on chain for the token, so do not assume that a token labelled GNOT on another network is interchangeable with native GNOT. Before depositing or withdrawing, check the exact network and token contract or address supported by the service you are using. A network mismatch can make funds difficult or impossible to recover.
Adena is an ecosystem wallet for Gno.land, while gnokey is the project’s command-line wallet and utility. Gno.land’s ecosystem also includes GnoSwap, a decentralized exchange, and Gnoscan, a block explorer. These tools serve different purposes: a wallet manages keys and transactions, an exchange enables token swaps, and an explorer helps you inspect network activity. Confirm that a wallet supports the specific network version and actions you need before sending funds, and never share your recovery phrase with a site or support account.
How much GNOT exists, and what does that mean?
GNOT has a stated total and maximum supply of 1,333,000,000 tokens. Circulating supply was about 197,320,000 as of 2026-11-08. The difference matters: total supply and circulating supply are not the same, and a market value calculated using the maximum supply can be much higher than one based only on tokens currently circulating.
At that date, GNOT’s market capitalization was about $11.8 million and its fully diluted valuation about $79.7 million. These are changing market measures, not guarantees of what you could sell tokens for. A fixed maximum supply also does not by itself make a token scarce in a way that supports its price; demand, token distribution, network use and liquidity matter too. Check current supply and market conditions before making a transaction, and treat figures from different dates as non-comparable.
How can you store GNOT more safely?
To hold GNOT safely, use a wallet that explicitly supports Gno.land and keep control of your recovery phrase or private keys. Adena is an ecosystem wallet; gnokey is a command-line option for users comfortable managing a wallet through terminal commands. Choose based on your ability to protect the device and follow the wallet’s recovery process, not just convenience.
Before sending a large amount, verify the receiving address and network, then consider a small test transaction. Store your recovery phrase offline in a private, secure place; anyone who obtains it may be able to take your tokens. Do not enter it into a website, share it with someone claiming to offer support, or keep it in an unprotected screenshot or cloud note. A wallet does not reverse a mistaken transfer, and losing your keys can mean losing access permanently. Keep devices and wallet software updated, and check transactions on a trusted interface.
What could go wrong when you hold or use GNOT?
GNOT carries the usual risks of a young blockchain token: its price can move sharply, trading liquidity may change, and you may not be able to sell at the price you expect. The gap between circulating supply and the 1.333 billion maximum also means that supply entering circulation could affect market dynamics. Historical prices do not tell you what the token will be worth next.
There are network and software risks as well. A bug in a realm, wallet or exchange can expose funds or disrupt access, while a mistaken transfer to an unsupported network or address may be irreversible. Published smart-contract source code helps people inspect code, but it does not prove that every contract is safe or audited. Cross-chain interactions add further complexity, including risks tied to bridges or other connecting services. Use only amounts you can afford to lose, verify each transaction, and assess the particular app or service separately from Gno.land itself.
By the numbers
Gno.land in numbers
Gno.land (GNOT) is ranked #1,127 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $11.8M and a price of $0.0598 as of Nov 8, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation is $79.7M, so roughly 15% of the eventual supply is in circulation today; tokens still to be released could add selling pressure.
The price was up 4.8% over 7 days, down 13.2% over 30 days. It trades about 54% below its all-time high of $0.1293, set on Sep 23, 2026.
About 197.32M GNOT are in circulation out of a maximum supply of 1.33B (15% issued).
24-hour trading volume was about $633K, or 5.4% of its market cap: moderate turnover.

GNOT FAQs
What is GNOT used for?
GNOT is the native token of Gno.land. It is used to pay gas for contract execution, storage deposits and cross-chain interactions.
What is the maximum supply of GNOT?
GNOT’s stated total and maximum supply is 1,333,000,000. Circulating supply was about 197,320,000 as of 2026-11-08; supply figures can change in how they are reported, so check the date.
Which wallet supports GNOT?
Adena is an ecosystem wallet for Gno.land, and gnokey is its command-line wallet and utility. Confirm that the wallet supports the network and token you intend to use before transferring funds.
Is GNOT available on other blockchains?
GNOT is native to Gno.land. Do not assume that a similarly named token on another chain is the same asset; verify the network and token details with the sending and receiving services.
Is GNOT a risky token to hold?
The main risks include price volatility, changing liquidity, wallet or contract vulnerabilities, and irreversible mistakes when sending tokens. A fixed maximum supply does not remove these risks or guarantee demand.
What is the market cap of Gno.land?
As of Nov 8, 2026, Gno.land had a market cap of about $11.8M, ranking #1,127 among cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation. Market cap is price multiplied by circulating supply, so it moves with the price.
What is the all-time high of GNOT?
Gno.land's all-time high is $0.1293, reached on Sep 23, 2026. Its all-time low is $0.0405 (Sep 17, 2026). Past prices say nothing about future returns.
What is the circulating supply of GNOT?
As of Nov 8, 2026, about 197.32M GNOT were in circulation, against a maximum supply of 1.33B.
