What can you use ONE for?
ONE is Harmony’s native token. You use it to pay transaction and network fees on Harmony, and it can also be staked to help secure the network. Harmony describes ONE as a token for participating in governance and rewarding network contributors, including validators and developers.
If you stake, you delegate or otherwise commit ONE through a supported staking option. Rewards can change and are not guaranteed; check the validator’s commission, performance and terms before committing. Staking does not remove the token’s market risk, and some staking arrangements require an unbonding period before you can move your tokens.
ONE is not just a general-purpose payment token: its main practical uses are tied to the Harmony network. Make sure an app or service actually supports Harmony before sending ONE to it.
Which network should you use for ONE?
ONE is native to the Harmony blockchain. When you send it or interact with a Harmony app, choose Harmony as the network and keep some ONE available for transaction fees. A wallet that supports the token on another network may not support native Harmony ONE; the same token name or ticker does not make networks interchangeable.
Before sending, check that the receiving wallet or exchange accepts deposits on Harmony specifically. Confirm the network shown on both sides, and consider a small test transfer before moving a larger amount. Sending to an unsupported network or address can make funds difficult or impossible to recover.
Use a wallet that explicitly supports Harmony and verify its network settings through the wallet provider’s official materials. If you use a browser wallet, check the selected network each time you transact. Never add a network using details sent to you in an unsolicited message.
How much ONE exists?
Harmony’s reported circulating supply was about 14.87 billion ONE as of 2026-11-08. Reported total supply was also about 14.87 billion, with only a small difference between the two figures. These are snapshots, not guarantees that the amount will stay unchanged.
A maximum supply is not listed in the token figures here, so do not assume ONE has a fixed cap. Supply information also does not tell you what ONE is worth or whether its market price will rise or fall. Prices and trading conditions can change sharply.
If you are comparing supply figures across wallets, exchanges or market pages, check the date and whether each number refers to circulating, total or maximum supply. These measures are not interchangeable. Treat current market value and trading volume as moving figures rather than lasting facts.
How can you store ONE safely?
For self-custody, choose a wallet that supports Harmony and keep your recovery phrase offline. Do not share it with anyone, enter it into a website reached through an unsolicited message, or store it in a cloud note or screenshot. Anyone with the phrase can control the wallet’s funds.
Protect the device with a strong passcode and keep its software current. If you use a hardware wallet, confirm that it supports Harmony before transferring ONE. Check the network and destination address carefully; a transfer sent on the wrong chain may not be recoverable. A small test transaction can help catch a setup mistake.
For exchange custody, secure your account with a unique password and available multi-factor authentication, and check that the exchange supports Harmony deposits and withdrawals. Keeping tokens on an exchange means you rely on that company to safeguard and release them.
What could go wrong when you hold ONE?
ONE can lose value quickly, and staking rewards do not protect you from a falling market price. You may also face delays or restrictions when unstaking, depending on the staking method and network conditions. Review the terms before delegating, and avoid staking through an unfamiliar site or app.
Network mistakes are another practical risk: sending ONE through an unsupported chain, using a wrong address, or approving a malicious transaction can result in permanent loss. Scammers may impersonate wallet support or promise unusually high staking returns. Never disclose your recovery phrase to “fix” a wallet problem.
Harmony apps and bridges can carry separate smart-contract, operational and custody risks. A token balance shown in a wallet is not proof that an app or bridge is safe. Use only services you understand, limit approvals where possible, and avoid committing funds you cannot afford to lose.
By the numbers
Harmony in numbers
Harmony (ONE) is ranked #679 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $27.4M and a price of $0.001844 as of Nov 8, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation ($27.4M) is close to its market cap, so little new supply is still to come.
The price was up 59.7% over 7 days, down 14.3% over 30 days, down 69.8% over the past year. It trades about 100% below its all-time high of $0.3790, set on Oct 26, 2021.
About 14.87B ONE are in circulation. No hard maximum supply is listed, so new tokens can still be issued.
24-hour trading volume was about $95.9M, or 350% of its market cap: very high turnover.
ONE is the native token of Harmony. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.
