What does holding EKUBO let you do?

EKUBO is described as the governance token for Ekubo Protocol, an automated market maker (AMM) on Starknet. An AMM lets users swap tokens and provide liquidity through smart contracts rather than matching buyers and sellers through a traditional order book. EKUBO is therefore a protocol token, not a token you need to pay Starknet transaction fees: those fees are separate.

The project description says the token governs Ekubo, but that alone does not tell you what voting powers are currently active or whether holding tokens gives you a right to fees, rewards or income. Check the protocol’s current governance rules before relying on any particular benefit. If you are considering EKUBO, treat its main stated purpose as participation in protocol governance—not as a promise of returns or a claim on the AMM’s assets.

Which chains and wallets can hold EKUBO?

EKUBO has been issued on both Starknet and Ethereum. Those are separate networks, so an EKUBO balance on one chain is not automatically available on the other. The token is not listed as the native token of either chain; you will need the relevant network’s native asset to pay transaction fees when sending or interacting with tokens.

Use a wallet that explicitly supports the network where your EKUBO is held. Before receiving or sending tokens, check the selected network and verify the token contract address against Ekubo’s official channels. Do not assume that a wallet showing an EKUBO balance supports every token function, or that a token with the same name on another network is genuine. If you use a bridge or exchange to move between networks, confirm the service supports the exact token and chain pair. A mistaken network or address can make funds difficult or impossible to recover.

How many EKUBO tokens exist, and how volatile is it?

EKUBO’s stated maximum supply is 10 million tokens. The reported circulating and total supplies are also 10 million, so the figures indicate that the full stated supply is already circulating. A fixed maximum does not mean the token’s price or available trading liquidity is stable, and it does not establish how tokens are distributed among holders.

As of 2026-11-08, EKUBO was quoted at about $1.05, with a market capitalization and fully diluted valuation of about $10.5 million each. Reported 24-hour trading volume was about $9,600. The price had fallen about 23% over the preceding seven days and about 74% over the preceding year. These are dated market snapshots, not forecasts; prices, valuations and volume can change quickly. The relatively small reported trading volume is a reason to check current order depth and the price impact of a trade before deciding what to do.

How should you store EKUBO safely?

For self-custody, use a wallet that supports EKUBO on its specific chain, and keep the recovery phrase offline in a secure place. Never share that phrase or enter it into a site, message or form to claim tokens, verify a wallet or receive support. Anyone with the phrase can control the wallet’s assets.

A hardware wallet may reduce exposure to malware if it supports the relevant network and token, but it cannot prevent every mistake. Confirm the chain, destination address and token contract before signing a transfer. Read wallet approval prompts carefully: a contract approval can let a smart contract move specified tokens, and an approval you no longer need may be worth reviewing and revoking through a trusted wallet tool. Keep a small amount of the network’s native asset available for fees. If you hold EKUBO through an exchange instead, check its withdrawal and custody terms; exchange custody means you rely on that provider to safeguard and release your tokens.

What could go wrong when you hold EKUBO?

EKUBO carries the usual risks of a small-cap crypto token, including sharp price moves and limited liquidity. A quoted price may not be the price you can get for a larger trade, especially when reported trading volume is low. You could lose some or all of the amount you commit.

There are also protocol and network risks. Smart-contract bugs, exploits, governance decisions or disruption to Starknet or Ethereum could affect Ekubo or your ability to use the token. Holding a governance token does not guarantee that a proposal will pass, that the protocol will remain useful or that the token will gain value. If you move tokens between chains, bridges and exchanges add separate custody, technical and operational risks. Check the contract and network before signing transactions, avoid acting on unsolicited offers, and do not treat past price movements as a guide to future performance.

By the numbers

Ekubo Protocol in numbers

Ekubo Protocol (EKUBO) is ranked #1,197 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $10.5M and a price of $1.04 as of Nov 8, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation ($10.5M) is close to its market cap, so little new supply is still to come.

About 10M EKUBO are in circulation out of a maximum supply of 10M (100% issued).

24-hour trading volume was about $9.58K, or 0.1% of its market cap: low turnover, so large orders can move the price.

EKUBO has token contracts on 2 chains we track, including Starknet, Ethereum. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.

What is EKUBO used for?

EKUBO is described as the governance token for Ekubo Protocol, an AMM on Starknet. The project description does not establish that holding it entitles you to fees, income or rewards, so check the current governance rules before assuming it provides a particular benefit.

Which networks support EKUBO?

EKUBO has been issued on Starknet and Ethereum. Choose a wallet that supports the specific network where your tokens are held, and verify the token contract before sending or receiving.
