Owning CHEX: Uses, Networks and Risks
CHEX supports Chintai’s tokenization ecosystem, but holding the token does not automatically give you rights to tokenized assets. Check the network, supply claims and risks before you use it.

What does holding CHEX let you do?
CHEX is Chintai’s utility token, used for liquidity incentives and resource management within its tokenization ecosystem. Chintai describes its platform as a way for financial institutions to issue and manage tokenized real-world assets, such as financial products or property interests. That does not mean holding CHEX gives you ownership of any asset listed on Chintai Nexus, or a right to income from one. Those rights depend on the terms of the individual offering.
Before treating CHEX as useful to you, check whether the Chintai product or service you plan to use actually requires the token, and what role it plays there. The project describes CHEX as supporting its ecosystem, but that alone does not establish how much token demand comes from platform use. CHEX is also exposed to crypto-market volatility, so its price can move independently of any particular tokenized asset.
Which CHEX network should your wallet use?
CHEX is listed on Ethereum, BNB Chain, Solana and Base. Chintai also describes a custom, permissioned network, but the exact relationship between that network and the listed token versions is not clear from the token details. Treat each network version as a separate transfer choice: sending CHEX to an address on the wrong chain can result in a lost or inaccessible deposit.
Use a wallet that supports the specific network and CHEX token contract you intend to hold. EVM-compatible wallets may support Ethereum, BNB Chain and Base, while Solana requires a Solana-compatible wallet. Before withdrawing from an exchange, check which CHEX networks it supports and confirm that the receiving wallet can manage the matching token. For a first transfer, consider sending a small test amount if fees and minimum withdrawals make that practical. Never rely on a token name or ticker alone; confirm the contract address or token mint through Chintai’s official channels.
How much CHEX exists, and is there a supply cap?
As of November 8, 2026, CHEX has about 1.25 billion tokens in circulation, matching the reported total supply. No maximum supply is listed. That means you should not assume there is a fixed cap, even though Chintai describes CHEX as deflationary. A claim of deflation does not, by itself, tell you whether tokens are burned, how any burns work, or whether the supply can change.
Supply figures can change, and different networks may show separate token representations. When checking a wallet or explorer, make sure you are looking at the correct chain and contract rather than adding together versions that may represent the same underlying tokens. Supply is only one part of your decision: it does not tell you whether CHEX is liquid enough for your needs or whether its platform utility will persist. Avoid relying on old token counts or a displayed maximum unless Chintai clearly explains how that figure is defined.
How can you store CHEX without mixing up networks?
For self-custody, choose a wallet that supports the right chain and keep your recovery phrase offline. Anyone who obtains that phrase or private key can usually control the assets in the wallet. Don’t share it with a person claiming to offer support, and be wary of unsolicited messages asking you to connect your wallet or sign a transaction.
Before you move CHEX, verify the network, recipient address and token contract. A token with the same ticker on another chain may not be interchangeable with the version you intend to hold. If you use a hardware wallet, confirm that it supports the relevant network and that you understand how to review transactions on its screen. For exchange custody, check withdrawal availability and the exchange’s account-security options. In either case, test your recovery process carefully and keep a record of which network holds your tokens; a backup that you cannot access when needed is not a reliable backup.
What could go wrong when you hold or use CHEX?
CHEX carries several risks beyond ordinary price swings. Its value may depend partly on whether Chintai’s platform is used and whether CHEX is needed for its services; neither platform activity nor token demand is guaranteed. Multichain availability adds operational risk: unsupported deposits, incorrect addresses or problems with a bridge or token contract can make funds difficult to recover.
Chintai describes its platform as licensed and regulated, but that description does not establish the legal status of every tokenized offering or guarantee investor protections in your location. If you are considering an asset on Chintai Nexus, read that offering’s legal terms, fees, custody arrangements, redemption process and exit restrictions. A tokenized asset may not be easy to sell, and holding CHEX does not substitute for checking those details. Also verify the contract and the project’s security disclosures before interacting with a token or platform. Don’t commit money you cannot afford to lose.
By the numbers
Chintai in numbers
Chintai (CHEX) is ranked #1,107 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $12.2M and a price of $0.009754 as of Nov 8, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation ($12.2M) is close to its market cap, so little new supply is still to come.
The price was down 4.3% over 7 days, down 16.4% over 30 days, down 80.1% over the past year. It trades about 99% below its all-time high of $0.8043, set on Dec 16, 2024.
About 1.25B CHEX are in circulation. No hard maximum supply is listed, so new tokens can still be issued.
24-hour trading volume was about $140K, or 1.1% of its market cap: low turnover, so large orders can move the price.
CHEX has token contracts on 4 chains we track, including Ethereum, BNB Chain, Solana, Base. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.
CHEX is linked to Chintai, which we cover in our Real-World Assets rankings. See our Chintai page for how the protocol works and how we score it.

CHEX FAQs
What is CHEX used for?
CHEX is described as Chintai’s utility token for liquidity incentives and resource management. It is associated with Chintai’s real-world asset tokenization platform, but it does not automatically represent ownership in an asset listed there.
Which networks support CHEX?
CHEX is listed on Ethereum, BNB Chain, Solana and Base. Check the exact network and token contract before you deposit or withdraw, since sending it on an unsupported chain can make it inaccessible.
What is the supply of CHEX?
As of November 8, 2026, about 1.25 billion CHEX were reported in circulation and total supply. No maximum supply is listed, so don’t assume the token has a fixed cap.
How do I store CHEX safely?
Use a wallet that supports the specific chain and CHEX version you hold, and protect its recovery phrase offline. Verify the network, address and token contract before every transfer.
Does owning CHEX give me rights to Chintai assets?
No. CHEX is Chintai’s utility token, while rights to a tokenized asset depend on the terms of that specific offering. Read its legal documents, fees, redemption conditions and exit terms separately.
What is the market cap of Chintai?
As of Nov 8, 2026, Chintai had a market cap of about $12.2M, ranking #1,107 among cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation. Market cap is price multiplied by circulating supply, so it moves with the price.
What is the all-time high of CHEX?
Chintai's all-time high is $0.8043, reached on Dec 16, 2024. Its all-time low is $0.0005008 (Aug 9, 2020). Past prices say nothing about future returns.
What is the circulating supply of CHEX?
As of Nov 8, 2026, about 1.25B CHEX were in circulation; no fixed maximum supply is listed.
Which blockchains is CHEX on?
It has token contracts on Ethereum, BNB Chain, Solana, Base.
