What does holding EURØP actually give you?

EURØP (EUROP) is a euro-denominated stablecoin designed to track one euro, not one US dollar. Its issuer says each token is backed 1:1 by euros and can be redeemed for euros. The stated purpose is to let you hold and transfer euro value on blockchains, including for payments, decentralised finance, lending, borrowing and on-chain currency exchange.

EURØP is issued by Schuman Financial, a French stablecoin issuer described as licensed and regulated by France’s banking regulator, ACPR. The issuer says its euro reserves are held at government-supervised EU banks, including Société Générale, and audited by KPMG. That is useful context, but it does not make EUROP the same as a bank deposit or mean your tokens are covered by deposit insurance.

A stablecoin can still trade above or below its target. Its dollar price also changes as the euro-dollar exchange rate moves. For example, EUROP was about $1.11 on 2026-11-08; that figure is not a promise of a fixed dollar value.

Which networks and wallets can hold EUROP?

EUROP has been issued on Ethereum, XRP Ledger (XRPL), Plasma, Avalanche, Polygon and Solana. It is not described as the native coin of any of those networks; it is a token deployed on them. The token’s uses and compatibility can differ by network, so check which version a wallet, exchange or decentralised-finance app accepts before sending funds.

For self-custody, choose a wallet that explicitly supports EUROP on the network you intend to use. Check the token identity and network against the issuer’s official information, rather than relying only on a ticker or token name: unrelated or counterfeit tokens can use similar labels. A hardware wallet may help protect keys if it supports the relevant chain and token, but it does not protect you from sending EUROP to the wrong network or address.

Keep enough of the network’s own transaction token to pay for transfers where fees apply. Those fees are separate from EUROP, and the amount depends on network conditions. Do not assume an exchange deposit address or bridge supports every EUROP deployment.

How much EUROP is in circulation, and can you redeem it?

As of 2026-11-08, EUROP’s reported circulating and total supply were both about 13.6 million tokens. No maximum supply is published. The reported price was about $1.11, with a market capitalisation and fully diluted valuation of about $15.1 million each on that date. These are snapshots, not fixed values; supply and market figures can change as tokens are issued, redeemed or traded.

The euro peg is the key point when interpreting those numbers. One EUROP is intended to represent one euro, while a quoted dollar price reflects both the euro-dollar exchange rate and any difference between the market price and the target. A small market-price deviation is possible, and a quote in dollars does not mean you can redeem a token for a fixed dollar amount.

If you need euros rather than an on-chain token, confirm the issuer’s current redemption requirements first. The project describes 1:1 euro redemption, but does not publish redemption fees, minimums, eligibility details or processing times in its token description. Market sales may also involve trading fees and a price that differs from the intended peg.

What could make EUROP lose value or become hard to use?

The issuer describes EUROP as MiCA-compliant and says it is regulated in France by ACPR. It also says the token is fully backed by euros held in supervised EU banks, with reserves audited by KPMG. These are relevant safeguards to consider, but they do not remove issuer, reserve, custody or operational risk. An audit is not a guarantee that you can access funds immediately in every circumstance.

Before holding a large balance, check the issuer’s current reserve and audit disclosures, the legal terms for redemption, and whether you can meet any eligibility requirements. Confirm how redemption works in practice, including fees and timing. If you depend on EUROP for a payment, consider whether the recipient accepts the same network and token version you hold.

There are also blockchain risks. A network outage, smart-contract vulnerability, exchange failure or mistake in a transfer can interrupt access or cause loss. If EUROP is moved through a third-party bridge or deposited in a lending app, you take on additional risks from that service; the euro backing does not guarantee recovery from a hack or protocol failure.

How should you store EUROP without losing access?

If you keep EUROP in a self-custody wallet, secure the recovery phrase offline and never share it with anyone claiming to offer support. Use a wallet you obtained from its official source, protect devices with a passcode and updates, and consider a hardware wallet for balances you do not need to spend frequently. Test an unfamiliar destination with a small transfer before sending a larger amount.

Check the network carefully on both sides of every transfer. Ethereum EUROP and Solana EUROP, for example, are not interchangeable just because they share a ticker. A transfer to an unsupported network or a wrong address may be difficult or impossible to recover. Avoid signing wallet requests you do not understand, especially when connecting to DeFi apps or token-approval screens.

If you hold EUROP on an exchange, the platform controls the keys and may limit withdrawals or access. Self-custody gives you control of the keys but also makes you responsible for backups and transaction errors. Neither method removes the possibility that the token’s market price departs from its euro target.

By the numbers

EURØP in numbers

EURØP (EUROP) is ranked #982 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $15.1M and a price of $1.11 as of Nov 8, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation ($15.1M) is close to its market cap, so little new supply is still to come.

The price was down 0.3% over 7 days, down 0.8% over 30 days, down 3.8% over the past year. It trades about 7% below its all-time high of $1.19, set on Jan 29, 2026.

About 13.61M EUROP are in circulation. No hard maximum supply is listed, so new tokens can still be issued.

24-hour trading volume was about $2.47M, or 16% of its market cap: high turnover.

EUROP has token contracts on 6 chains we track, including Ethereum, XRP Ledger, Plasma, Avalanche. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.

EUROP FAQs

Is EUROP always worth one euro?

EURØP is designed to track one euro and is described as redeemable 1:1 for euros. That is not a fixed US-dollar peg, and market trading can move the token away from its target.

Which blockchains support EURØP?

EUROP has been issued on Ethereum, XRP Ledger, Plasma, Avalanche, Polygon and Solana. Use a wallet that supports the specific network and token deployment you hold.

Can I redeem EUROP for euros?

The issuer describes 1:1 euro redemption, but the project’s token description does not set out redemption fees, minimums, eligibility or processing times. Check the issuer’s current terms before relying on direct redemption.

What backs the EURØP stablecoin?

The issuer says EUROP is fully backed by euros held in supervised EU banks and that reserves are audited by KPMG. Reserve backing and audits do not eliminate issuer, custody, redemption, market or blockchain risks.
