## What can you use MegaUSD for?
MegaUSD (USDM) is a dollar-pegged stablecoin intended to support apps and onchain services on MegaETH. The project says it is issued through Ethena’s stablecoin stack and designed for use across MegaETH wallets, apps and other services. That gives you a way to hold a dollar-denominated token or transfer value without first switching to a volatile asset, if the app you use supports USDM.
The project description does not specify a direct payment feature, a savings yield or a right to redeem each token for one US dollar. Treat USDM as a crypto token with an intended dollar peg, not as a bank deposit or a guaranteed dollar claim. Whether it is useful to you depends on where it is accepted and whether you can move it to a place that supports it. Check the network and token address shown in your wallet or app before sending: similarly named tokens may not be the same asset.
## Which networks and wallets support USDM?
USDM is issued on MegaETH and Ethereum. It is not described as a native token of either chain; it is a stablecoin available on those networks. A wallet must support the relevant network and token to show or send it. Having USDM on Ethereum does not automatically mean it is available in your MegaETH wallet, or vice versa.
The project does not publish a list of supported wallets in the token details. In general, you can use a self-custody wallet that supports the right network, or a custodial service that explicitly lists USDM deposits and withdrawals on that network. Before transferring, check the receiving service’s network options and compare the token address with the one it recognizes. Do not rely on the ticker alone. If you use a bridge to move USDM between chains, check that it supports this specific token and understand whether the result is the same issued asset or a bridged representation.
## How stable is USDM, and what changes its supply?
As of 2026-11-08, USDM’s circulating and total supply were both about 17.47 million tokens, with no maximum supply published. Its market capitalization was about $17.5 million. Supply can change as tokens are issued or removed, but MegaUSD does not publish a detailed issuance, burn or redemption schedule in the token details. The figures are a snapshot, not a fixed limit.
The intended price is around one US dollar, but that is not assured. The listed price was about $0.999 as of 2026-11-08, while recorded historical extremes were about $1.40 on 2026-08-24 and $0.52 on 2026-06-10. Those departures from a dollar are a reason to check current market depth and the price on the venue you plan to use. A stablecoin label describes its goal; it does not guarantee a stable market price or instant conversion to dollars.
## How do you get and store USDM?
You may encounter USDM through an exchange, wallet, decentralized app or other service that supports the token. Availability can differ by network, and the project does not publish a single official route for acquiring it. Before sending funds to obtain USDM, confirm that the service supports deposits and withdrawals on the exact chain you intend to use. Check fees, minimums and withdrawal rules with that service.
For self-custody, keep USDM in a wallet that supports MegaETH or Ethereum as appropriate, and protect the recovery phrase offline. A wallet display is not proof that a token is genuine: verify the contract address against a trusted listing from the project or the service you are using. Do not share your recovery phrase or approve transactions you do not understand. If an exchange holds the tokens for you, you rely on that provider’s custody and withdrawal access rather than controlling the onchain keys yourself.
## What does it cost to move USDM?
Sending USDM costs the fee for the network used, paid in that network’s gas token rather than necessarily in USDM. Fees on Ethereum vary with network demand; MegaETH transaction costs can also change. The project does not publish a fixed USDM transfer fee, so check the wallet’s estimate immediately before confirming. A service may also charge its own deposit, withdrawal or conversion fee.
Moving USDM between Ethereum and MegaETH may require a bridge or a service that handles cross-chain transfers. That can add a bridge fee, a delay, exchange-rate slippage or a period when funds are unavailable. Bridges also introduce separate smart-contract and operational risks. Confirm the destination chain and token representation before sending, and do not assume a transfer is reversible if you choose the wrong network. For a small test transfer, remember that network fees may make the cost proportionally high.
## What risks should you check before holding USDM?
USDM carries the usual risks of a stablecoin, plus risks tied to its issuer, chains and any bridge or app you use. The project identifies Ethena’s stablecoin stack as the issuance route, but that alone does not tell you what assets or arrangements support USDM, how redemption works, or whether a holder can claim dollars directly. MegaUSD does not publish those details in the token description. Do not treat the intended peg as a guarantee of reserves or repayment.
A software flaw, chain outage, bridge failure, thin trading or loss of access to your wallet could prevent you from moving or valuing your tokens as expected. Market prices can depart from one dollar, as the recorded price history illustrates. Before holding a large balance, look for current disclosures on backing, redemption, audits and contract controls, and consider whether you can tolerate losing access or value. Never send tokens to an address or service until you have verified its network and token support.
## When did USDM launch, and what is its history?
MegaETH announced USDm in September 2025 as a stablecoin intended to be integrated into its ecosystem. The project describes it as purpose-built for real-time applications on MegaETH and says it is issued through Ethena’s stablecoin stack. USDM is also issued on Ethereum, giving holders a second network option, though using both networks may involve separate wallets, fees or cross-chain services.
As of 2026-11-08, the reported circulating supply was about 17.47 million and the market capitalization about $17.5 million. These figures can change and do not establish how much liquidity is available to you on a particular exchange or app. The reported historical high and low also show that its market price has not always stayed close to one dollar. For a current decision, check the token’s live price, supported network and issuer disclosures rather than assuming past availability or peg behavior will continue.
By the numbers
MegaUSD in numbers
MegaUSD (USDM) is ranked #900 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $17.5M and a price of $0.9993 as of Nov 8, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation ($17.5M) is close to its market cap, so little new supply is still to come.
The price was up 0.1% over 7 days, down 1.4% over 30 days. It trades about 29% below its all-time high of $1.40, set on Aug 24, 2026.
About 17.47M USDM are in circulation. No hard maximum supply is listed, so new tokens can still be issued.
24-hour trading volume was about $484K, or 2.8% of its market cap: moderate turnover.
USDM has token contracts on 2 chains we track, including MegaETH, Ethereum. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.
