Owning SBC: Uses, Storage and Risks

Stable Coin (SBC) is a stablecoin issued by Brale in partnership with Stable Coin Inc., intended for payments and on-chain transfers. The project emphasizes redeemability, compliance and transparency, and provides developer tools designed to support integrations and gasless transactions.

SBC is not a native token of a blockchain. It is issued on Ethereum, Avalanche, Polygon, Solana and Base, so you need to select the matching network when receiving or sending it. As of 2026-11-08, SBC traded at about $1, with a market capitalization of about $10.7 million. That market price is not a guarantee that you can redeem each token for one dollar.

You can hold SBC in a wallet that supports the network on which your tokens were issued. Before receiving or sending funds, check that the wallet and selected network match: an SBC token on Base, for example, is not automatically the same on-chain asset as SBC on Solana. Confirm the token contract or mint address through a trusted issuer channel; a familiar name and ticker alone do not prove a token is genuine.

SBC may suit payments and transfers where you want to use a stablecoin rather than a volatile crypto asset. Its developer tools are intended to make integrations and gasless transactions possible, but that does not mean every wallet or transfer is gas-free. Check the app’s transaction details and whether a network fee or service charge applies before confirming.

SBC had about 10.73 million tokens in circulation as of 2026-11-08, equal to its reported total supply. No maximum supply is specified, so the reported amount is not a fixed cap. Supply can change if tokens are issued or removed, and the market price can move away from its intended stable value.

Brale and Stable Coin Inc. emphasize redeemability, but SBC does not specify the redemption process, eligibility requirements, minimums or fees. Before relying on redemption, check directly with the issuer for current terms and confirm that you qualify. A market price near $1 does not by itself prove that you can redeem through an exchange or wallet, or that redemption will be immediate.

SBC carries the usual risks of an issuer-backed stablecoin. Its value depends on the issuer’s ability to maintain backing and honor redemptions; SBC does not specify reserve composition or audit details. You also face issuer, regulatory and operational risks, as well as the possibility that market liquidity is limited. As of 2026-11-08, reported 24-hour trading volume was about $133, which may make it harder to trade larger amounts near the intended value.

For self-custody, protect your recovery phrase offline, never share it, and test a small transfer before sending a larger amount. Check the network and token address each time. A wrong-network transfer, compromised wallet, counterfeit token or lost recovery phrase can lead to irreversible losses. Gasless transaction tools do not remove smart-contract or wallet risks.
