## What can you use Solomon USDv for?

Solomon USDv (USDV) is a dollar-pegged stablecoin issued on Solana. It is designed to stay near US$1 and is described as backed one-for-one by dollar-denominated reserve assets. You can transfer it or use it in apps that support USDV on Solana, but acceptance is not universal.

Solomon says eligible holders may receive variable rewards supported by income from the reserves. The stated design lets eligible holders earn without staking, wrapping or locking USDV. That does not mean every holder qualifies, or that rewards are fixed or guaranteed. Check Solomon’s eligibility rules and reward terms before relying on them.

USDV may suit you if you want an onchain dollar token and understand that a stablecoin is not the same as cash in a bank account. Its dollar target can make it useful for transfers or as a dollar-denominated balance, but the token can trade above or below US$1, and the issuer, reserves and redemption arrangements still matter.

## Which wallets and network can hold USDV?

USDV is issued on Solana. Use a wallet that supports Solana tokens, and make sure the receiving service supports USDV specifically. A wallet’s ability to hold other Solana assets does not guarantee that an exchange, DeFi app or payment service will accept this token.

Before sending, confirm the USDV mint address from a trusted Solomon channel and check that the network selected by both the sending and receiving service is Solana. Do not send USDV to an address or network that does not support it; an incompatible transfer may be difficult or impossible to recover. If you are testing a new destination, consider sending a small amount first.

Solana transactions generally require SOL to pay network fees, so keep some SOL in your wallet. Protect your recovery phrase offline, never share it with anyone claiming to provide support, and consider a hardware wallet if you hold an amount you would not want to lose. A wallet protects access to your keys; it does not guarantee USDV’s value or redeemability.

## How much USDV exists, and is there a supply cap?

USDV’s reported circulating and total supply were both about 8.68 million tokens as of 2026-11-08. Its reported market capitalization was about US$8.7 million on that date. These are snapshots, not fixed limits: supply and market value can change as tokens are issued, redeemed or traded.

No maximum supply is reported. A one-to-one reserve design does not, by itself, tell you how many tokens may be issued over time; check current supply and issuer information if that matters to your decision. Solomon’s description says eligible holders can mint and redeem through the project, so access to those processes may affect how supply changes.

Do not treat the market capitalization as cash held in reserve or as a guarantee that you can sell at US$1. It is a market measure, while your ability to exit depends on available buyers, trading liquidity and any redemption route you qualify to use. The reported market data is dated and should not be used as a live quote.

## Can you redeem USDV for a dollar?

USDV aims to track the U.S. dollar and Solomon describes it as fully reserved, but the target is not a promise that every market trade will happen at exactly US$1. Prices can move away from the peg, especially when trading is thin or confidence in the issuer, reserves or redemption process changes.

Solomon says minting and redemption are available to eligible holders. Check the current eligibility rules and redemption terms before treating USDV as cash you can access on demand. A token balance in your wallet does not necessarily mean you personally can redeem directly with the issuer. If you need to exit, you may instead depend on a trading venue and its liquidity.

Rewards are variable and supported by reserve income, so do not count on a particular return. Before holding for rewards, check who qualifies, how rewards are calculated and whether they can change. Consider whether the possible reward is worth the additional issuer, reserve and smart-contract risks compared with simply holding a token that does not offer rewards.

## What could go wrong while you hold USDV?

USDV carries several risks even though it is designed to be fully reserved. You rely on Solomon and the parties responsible for holding or managing reserve assets; problems with those assets, custody or access to redemption could affect confidence in the peg. A reserve claim is not the same as a bank deposit guarantee. Check for current reserve disclosures and independent assurance before deciding how much to hold.

There is also smart-contract and Solana network risk. A contract vulnerability, operational error or network disruption could prevent transfers or expose tokens to loss. Trading liquidity can be limited, and USDV may fall below US$1. Rewards can vary, and eligibility restrictions may limit who receives them.

For safer custody, verify the token mint before adding USDV to a wallet, keep your recovery phrase private and offline, and avoid signing transactions you do not understand. Be cautious of unsolicited messages promising rewards or asking you to connect your wallet. Do not hold more than you can afford to have temporarily inaccessible or lose.
