## What does HAEDAL do, and how is it different from haSUI?

HAEDAL is Haedal Protocol’s project token; haSUI is the liquid-staking token you receive when staking SUI through the protocol. The two serve different purposes: holding HAEDAL does not by itself mean you have staked SUI or are earning SUI staking rewards.

Haedal lets users stake SUI and receive haSUI, which is designed to represent staked SUI while remaining usable in supported decentralised-finance applications. HAEDAL has been associated with governance, but the scope of any voting rights and how they work should be checked before you rely on them. Don’t assume that holding HAEDAL gives you a claim on protocol revenue, guaranteed yield or a share of staked assets. If your goal is to stake SUI, you’ll need to understand haSUI and the protocol’s terms—not just buy or hold HAEDAL.

## Which chains and wallets can you use for HAEDAL?

HAEDAL is issued on Sui and BNB Chain. It is not identified as the native token of either network. Before sending or receiving it, check that your wallet is set to the same chain as the token you hold and that the receiving service supports that chain. A token sent to an incompatible address or network may be difficult or impossible to recover.

Use a Sui-compatible wallet for the Sui version or a BNB Chain-compatible wallet for the BNB Chain version. You’ll generally need the relevant network’s native token to pay transaction fees: SUI on Sui or BNB on BNB Chain. Don’t choose a token by name alone; confirm its network and official contract details through a trusted Haedal channel before adding it to a wallet or making a transfer. If you move assets between chains, account for bridge and wrong-network risks rather than assuming the two versions are interchangeable.

## How much HAEDAL exists, and what do the figures tell you?

HAEDAL has a maximum supply of 1 billion tokens. About 195 million were circulating as of 2026-11-08, so the circulating amount was well below the maximum. A large gap between circulating and maximum supply can matter: future releases may increase the amount available to trade, though the timing and effect depend on the token’s actual release schedule and demand. Check current tokenomics before making decisions; the figures can change.

As of 2026-11-08, HAEDAL traded at about $0.025, with a market capitalisation of about $4.9 million and fully diluted valuation of about $25.1 million. Its reported all-time high was about $0.30 on 2025-07-16. These are dated market snapshots, not a forecast or a measure of what the token should be worth. Small market capitalisations and trading volumes can also mean prices move sharply.

## What should you check before holding or staking through Haedal?

HAEDAL carries the usual risks of a crypto token: its market price can fall, trading may be thin, and you may not be able to sell quickly at the price you expect. The token’s value is separate from the value or redemption terms of haSUI. If you stake SUI through Haedal, you also take on protocol and smart-contract risks, as well as possible validator, liquidity and chain risks.

Before staking, check Haedal’s current fees, the route and terms for exiting, any waiting period, and which contracts have been audited. An audit is not a guarantee against exploits, and coverage of one contract does not necessarily cover every component or later change. Keep HAEDAL in a wallet whose recovery phrase you control if self-custody suits you; store that phrase offline and never share it. Check the network and recipient before signing transactions, and be wary of fake support accounts, token claims and links.
