What can CET do for you?
CET is CoinEx’s exchange and ecosystem token. You may be able to use it for trading-fee discounts on CoinEx or to pay fees and purchase other platform services. Those benefits depend on CoinEx’s current rules, your account and the products available to you; holding CET does not automatically guarantee a discount on every trade or service.
CET is also described as the native token of CoinEx Chain, a public chain built for decentralized exchange activity. That gives it a role beyond CoinEx’s centralized exchange, but do not assume every CoinEx product or third-party application accepts CET. Check the exact terms, eligible trading pairs and any minimum balance requirements before relying on a benefit. CET is a token, not a share in CoinEx, and holding it does not give you ownership of the exchange or a claim on its profits.
Which networks and wallets can hold CET?
CoinEx issued CET in January 2018 and describes it as the native token of CoinEx Chain, whose mainnet launched in November 2019. CET is also issued on Ethereum. These are separate networks: a wallet or exchange deposit address for one network may not accept a transfer sent on the other.
For self-custody, choose a wallet that explicitly supports the network you intend to use and the relevant CET token. An Ethereum-compatible wallet may hold the Ethereum-issued version; support for CoinEx Chain needs to be checked separately. Before sending a meaningful amount, confirm the network and token details in your wallet or on CoinEx, then make a small test transfer if appropriate. Do not select a network just because the token ticker matches. If you keep CET on CoinEx, the exchange controls the wallet keys and access is subject to its account and withdrawal rules.
How much CET is in circulation?
As of 2026-09-30, CET’s reported circulating and total supply was about 2.44 billion tokens, with a maximum supply of 10 billion. The gap between current supply and the stated maximum means the maximum is not the same as the amount currently circulating. Supply figures can change, so check them again before making a decision based on token scarcity.
CET’s market price and market capitalization also move over time. On 2026-09-30, its reported price was about $0.005 and its market capitalization about $12.2 million; these are snapshots, not forecasts or guaranteed values. A high maximum supply does not by itself tell you whether a token is cheap or expensive. Consider whether you would use CET’s exchange benefits, how much value depends on CoinEx, and whether you could tolerate a substantial loss. Do not treat any token supply figure as a reason on its own to buy or hold.
How should you store CET, and what can go wrong?
Your main choice is between keeping CET on CoinEx and taking custody in a compatible wallet. Exchange custody can be simpler for using platform features, but you depend on CoinEx to maintain account access and withdrawals. With self-custody, you control the keys; losing them or exposing your recovery phrase can make your tokens unrecoverable or let someone else take them.
Before withdrawing, verify the receiving network, token and address. Never share a recovery phrase or private key, and be wary of messages or sites asking you to connect a wallet or sign an unexpected transaction. CET also carries market and project risks: its usefulness may change if CoinEx changes its benefits, services or network support, and token prices can fall sharply. Exchange access and rules may vary by location. Check local access and the current terms before depositing or moving funds, and only hold an amount you can afford to lose.

CET FAQs
What is CoinEx Token used for?
CET may qualify you for trading-fee discounts or let you pay fees and purchase certain CoinEx services. Benefits depend on CoinEx’s current terms and may not apply to every product or account.
Is CET on Ethereum or CoinEx Chain?
CET is described as the native token of CoinEx Chain and is also issued on Ethereum. These are distinct networks, so confirm the destination network before transferring tokens.
Which wallet can I use to store CET?
Use a wallet that explicitly supports the network and CET version you plan to hold. Check compatibility before sending funds; a wallet that supports Ethereum assets may not support CoinEx Chain.
What is the maximum supply of CET?
As of 2026-09-30, reported circulating and total supply were about 2.44 billion CET, with a maximum supply of 10 billion. Supply can change, so treat these as dated figures.
What are the main risks of holding CET?
Yes. CET can lose value, and its utility depends in part on CoinEx’s services, policies and network support. Self-custody also brings the risk of losing access or sending tokens on the wrong network.
What is the market cap of CoinEx?
As of Sep 30, 2026, CoinEx had a market cap of about $12.2M, ranking #1,104 among cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation. Market cap is price multiplied by circulating supply, so it moves with the price.
What is the all-time high of CET?
CoinEx's all-time high is $0.1503, reached on Jul 3, 2018. Its all-time low is $0.004107 (Dec 14, 2018). Past prices say nothing about future returns.
What is the circulating supply of CET?
As of Sep 30, 2026, about 2.44B CET were in circulation, against a maximum supply of 10B.
Which blockchains is CET on?
It has token contracts on Ethereum.
