What can you do with AQUA?

AQUA is used for rewards and voting in Aquarius, a Stellar project focused on liquidity for Stellar’s built-in decentralized exchange. If you hold AQUA, you can vote on which trading pairs should receive market-making rewards and which assets the project should treat as trusted. Traders and liquidity providers may earn AQUA by participating in selected markets, but rewards depend on the eligible markets and your participation; holding the token alone does not guarantee income.

Aquarius also describes a Community DAO Fund and future development decisions as areas for holder voting. That gives AQUA a governance role, but voting does not give you ownership of Aquarius or a guaranteed say over every decision. Before relying on AQUA for rewards or governance, check which votes and reward programs are active and how eligibility is determined. The project’s purpose is tied to activity on Stellar, rather than to paying a fixed return to holders.

Which wallets and network support AQUA?

AQUA is issued on Stellar; it is not listed as a native token of a separate blockchain. To hold it, use a wallet that supports Stellar assets and allows you to add or recognize the AQUA asset. Stellar assets generally require an account trustline, and you may need a small amount of XLM for network fees and account requirements. Check the asset’s issuer details carefully before setting up a trustline or sending funds: a token with the same name or ticker may not be the Aquarius asset.

You can also access AQUA through a service that supports Stellar deposits, but check that it accepts the correct asset and network before transferring. A deposit address or memo requirement can differ by service. Do a small test transfer when practical, and never send AQUA to an address or wallet that does not support Stellar assets. The project’s token facts do not identify a particular wallet as an official choice, so confirm support directly with the wallet provider.

How many AQUA tokens exist?

AQUA has a maximum supply of 100 billion tokens. As of 2026-11-08, about 44.62 billion were circulating and total supply was about 99.97 billion. The difference between circulating and total supply matters: not every token counted in total supply is necessarily available in the market, and the circulating figure can change over time.

For context, AQUA’s market capitalization was about $11.3 million and its fully diluted valuation was about $25.2 million as of 2026-11-08. These are time-sensitive estimates, not a measure of what you could sell your holdings for. Trading volume was about $29,580 over the preceding 24 hours on that date, which can mean fewer buyers or sellers are available at a particular price. Check current figures before making a transaction, and remember that circulating supply, trading activity and price can all move.

What could go wrong if you hold AQUA?

AQUA’s main risks are market volatility, limited liquidity and reliance on Aquarius’s ongoing activity. Its price was about $0.000252 as of 2026-11-08, and it had fallen about 62% over the preceding year. Those dated figures illustrate that the token can lose value; they do not indicate what it will do next. Thin trading can also make it harder to complete a sale at the price you expect, particularly for larger orders.

Rewards and governance are not guaranteed sources of value. The markets eligible for rewards can change, and voting outcomes may not benefit every holder. AQUA also depends on the Stellar network and on the security of the wallets, apps and services you use to access it. A mistake when choosing an asset issuer, signing a transaction or sharing account credentials can result in an irreversible loss. Only commit money you can afford to lose, and check the current program rules before providing liquidity or voting.

How can you store AQUA more safely?

For long-term storage, use a Stellar-compatible wallet you control and keep its recovery phrase offline in a secure place. Never share the phrase, private keys or account credentials with anyone claiming they need them to distribute rewards or help with a vote. A hardware wallet can reduce exposure to malware if it supports Stellar and the AQUA asset, but confirm compatibility before transferring tokens.

When adding AQUA, verify the issuer and asset details through a trusted Stellar wallet or Aquarius interface rather than relying on the ticker alone. Treat unexpected messages, reward claims and links asking you to connect your wallet or sign a transaction as possible scams. Read transaction prompts before approving them; a signature can authorize actions beyond a simple login. Keep your wallet software and device secure, and consider a small test transfer before moving a larger balance. Losing your recovery phrase or sending AQUA to an unsupported network or address may leave the tokens unrecoverable.
