## What can you use KUB for?

KUB is the utility coin of KUB Chain. You can use it to pay on-chain gas fees, and the project says it can be converted into fee credits on Bitkub Exchange. KUB also supports staking: holders can delegate to validators, while validators help secure the network. The coin is also used for network governance and may provide access to services or benefits offered by KUB Chain partners.

Those uses depend on the network and the services that support KUB. Exchange fee credits are not the same as a cash balance, and partner benefits can change. Before moving KUB, check whether the service you plan to use accepts native KUB or a wrapped version. A token with the same name on another network may not work for your intended transaction.

## Which network and wallet should you use for KUB?

KUB is intended for KUB Chain. To hold or transfer it yourself, use a wallet that explicitly supports the correct KUB Chain network and token format. Don’t assume that a wallet’s ability to display an asset with the ticker KUB means it can send native KUB safely. Confirm the network and receiving address with the wallet or exchange before withdrawing, and test with a small transfer if appropriate.

A wrapped version called KKUB is described as a KAP-20 token, with a stated conversion ratio of 1 KUB to 1 KKUB. Wrapped tokens are distinct from the native coin even when the stated ratio is one-to-one; they rely on the relevant token contract and conversion or redemption arrangements. Check that the receiving app supports KKUB specifically. Sending KUB to a KKUB address, or using the wrong network, can result in funds being lost or difficult to recover.

## How much KUB exists, and can supply grow?

KUB has a maximum and total supply of 110 million coins. About 69.0 million were circulating as of 2026-11-08, so the circulating amount was below the stated cap. The remaining supply may affect future dilution if it enters circulation; check the project’s current token disclosures for details on release timing and allocation before relying on older supply figures.

These figures are not a price forecast. KUB’s market price and trading activity can change quickly, and a fixed maximum supply does not guarantee demand or value. If you are checking a balance or planning a transfer, distinguish the number of coins from their changing market value. Exchange balances may also reflect the platform’s records rather than coins held in a wallet you control.

## What could go wrong when you hold or stake KUB?

KUB’s main practical risks are network compatibility, custody and changing utility. A transfer to the wrong chain or token contract may be irreversible. If you leave KUB on an exchange, the exchange controls the keys and access can depend on its account rules, custody arrangements and operational status. Self-custody gives you control of the keys, but losing a recovery phrase or signing a malicious transaction can permanently put funds at risk.

Staking can add validator and network risks: delegation does not remove the possibility of service disruption or changes to network rules, and you should check any lock-up, unstaking and reward conditions before committing coins. KUB’s value can also fall, and fee-credit or partner uses do not guarantee that you can sell at a particular price. Use a reputable wallet, keep recovery details offline, and verify transaction details before signing.

The price was down 2.8% over 7 days, down 7.5% over 30 days, down 59.5% over the past year. It trades about 97% below its all-time high of $17.24, set on Dec 27, 2021.

About 68.97M KUB are in circulation out of a maximum supply of 110M (63% issued).

24-hour trading volume was about $116K, or 0.3% of its market cap: low turnover, so large orders can move the price.
