What can you use FLUX for?
FLUX is the native, mineable token of the Flux ecosystem. You can use it to pay for computing resources, support FluxNode operators by providing node collateral, and fuel transactions on FluxOS. Miners and FluxNode operators also receive FLUX rewards for contributing computational resources. The Flux blockchain supports on-chain governance and parallel assets intended to help FLUX connect with other blockchains and decentralised finance.
Those uses tie the token to Flux’s decentralised computing network, but they do not guarantee demand or value. The token’s market price can move sharply, and its utility depends in part on people using Flux products and services. If you are considering holding FLUX, distinguish the token’s role in the network from any expectation that its price will rise. Flux’s ecosystem includes FluxOS, FluxCloud, FluxEdge and FluxAI; check the current product terms before committing funds or resources.
Which chain and wallet should you use for FLUX?
FLUX is a native, mineable coin on the Flux blockchain, which uses Equihash proof of work. Flux also describes parallel assets for interoperability with other blockchains, but the specific external networks and supported FLUX versions are not identified here. Do not assume that a token labelled “FLUX” on another network is interchangeable with native FLUX.
Flux’s wallet products include Zelcore Wallet and SSP, a multisignature browser wallet. Before sending funds, check that the wallet supports the exact asset and network you intend to use. Confirm the receiving address and network on both sides of a transfer; sending to an unsupported network or address can make funds difficult or impossible to recover. A wallet’s name alone does not confirm that it supports every FLUX representation. If you use an exchange, check its deposit and withdrawal network options and follow its instructions for that specific transfer.
How much FLUX can exist?
FLUX has a maximum supply of 440 million coins. As of 2026-11-08, about 423.57 million were circulating, with total supply also about 423.57 million. That leaves roughly 16.43 million below the stated maximum, although the supply figures can change over time.
A maximum supply is not a price floor or a promise of scarcity-driven gains. The amount available to trade, demand for Flux services, and broader crypto-market conditions can all affect the token’s price. As a snapshot, FLUX was about $0.053 as of 2026-11-08; treat that as a dated figure, not a current quote. Check a live market price and the token’s network before making a transaction, since prices and exchange availability can change.
How can you store FLUX more safely?
For self-custody, use a wallet that explicitly supports the FLUX asset and network you hold. Keep your recovery phrase or private keys offline and private, and store a backup somewhere secure. Never share them with someone claiming they need them to fix a wallet or release funds. Consider a small test transfer before moving a larger balance, especially if you have not used that wallet or network before.
If you choose SSP, understand how its multisignature setup works and keep the required recovery details safe. Losing access to a necessary key or device can prevent you from spending funds; exposing one can let someone else take them. A wallet provider cannot necessarily reverse a blockchain transfer. For funds held on an exchange, check its custody and withdrawal arrangements and remember that you do not control the exchange’s private keys.
What could go wrong when you hold FLUX?
FLUX holders face several distinct risks. Its price has been volatile: as of 2026-11-08, the token was down about 72% over one year. That past movement does not predict what happens next, but it shows why you should not treat a market price as stable. A token may also be hard to sell at the price you expect if trading activity or exchange support changes.
There are technical and operational risks too. A mistaken transfer, lost recovery phrase, compromised device or unsupported token version can put funds at risk. Flux’s computing and node functions depend on a working network and continued participation; holding FLUX alone does not guarantee income or node rewards. Before using FLUX as collateral or paying for computing, check the current requirements, costs and consequences of withdrawal. Do not commit money you cannot afford to lose.

FLUX FAQs
What is FLUX used for?
FLUX is used to purchase computing resources, provide collateral for FluxNodes and fuel transactions on FluxOS. Miners and FluxNode operators can also receive FLUX rewards for contributing resources.
What is the maximum supply of FLUX?
Flux has a maximum supply of 440 million FLUX. About 423.57 million were circulating as of 2026-11-08; the figure can change.
Which wallets support FLUX?
Flux’s wallet products include Zelcore Wallet and SSP, a multisignature browser wallet. Confirm that your wallet supports the exact FLUX asset and network you hold before transferring.
Is FLUX available on other blockchains?
Flux uses a native proof-of-work blockchain and describes parallel assets for interoperability with other networks. Check the exact network and token version before depositing or withdrawing, since similarly named assets may not be interchangeable.
Can you earn rewards by holding FLUX?
You can use FLUX to provide collateral for FluxNodes, but requirements and any associated costs can change. Check the current node terms before committing tokens; holding FLUX alone does not guarantee rewards.
What is the market cap of Flux?
